The steam room smelt and tasted like mould.
The cleanliness was pretty low, there was mould everywhere and no one showered in between sauna and cold pool etc.

Also, people did leave at the end of their hour session, so there were a lot of people in the sauna, it was over crowded.

I’ve been multiple times, and it’s often like this.

It could be so awesome, they just need to clean it to a much higher standard more regularly, and maintain a better time management system.

Better communication and I experienced discrimination against the person and/or business after four months of the initial application and the requirements didn't match their website and what the rep told me

Kiva is a great way to help people help themselves and their communities. I think it's much better to lend people money so they can be self-sufficient long term rather than simply providing charity. I've been with Kiva for many years and whenever loans are paid back by people I reinvest the credit into new loans. So although I started off lending just $25 I have managed to lend a total of $1750 over 9 years!

This makes it easy to contribute to third world needs, at the same time as being able to choose classifications of donations (agriculture, retail, service, etc). The default rate is tiny.

I recieved 25$ in kiva credit as a gift over 12 years ago for Christmas and it is the best gift I ever recieved. I've loaned out this same small sum 16 times now and no one has ever defaulted. I once lost 1.60 to an exchange rate. I've never found anything as rewarding as helping people. It brings me infinite joy to microloan money to other impoverished people.

This company gives us the ability to make micro-loans to those that need and appreciate it.

Over the almost 13 years we have been involved with Kiva, we have so much appreciated how easy they have made it for us by facilitating these loans. Of the 156 loans that we have been honored to make (in memory of our son), pretty well everyone of these loans has been repaid (with only a 1.12% default rate). That is only 4 people that had to default in 13 years, thanks to Kiva and their lending partners.

We know exactly how much Kiva takes out for their running expenses, as we decide how much to give in each transaction.

We have never felt pressured by them, and their website is easily navigated, with many options available to personalize our choices. They also have a less hands-on approach for those wanting that option. The updates keep us informed and involved. It's encouraging to know how our loans are making a difference.

We intend to continue to use this company's assistance in making international micro-loans in the future.

I have been part of the Kiva Community for almost 20 years! This is an excellent program that gives everyone, regardless of financial status, the ability to help people in need through small loans. The feedback from borrowers is heartwarming.

Kiva is an easy to use platform for making user to user loans. I have received all the money back I’ve put in over the years, save a few losses due to currency devaluation. But it’s also so cool to learn about other places through the loans they’re asking for.

The mission of this group is amazing and the management of the organization matches the mission. So happy to "park our savings" with this organization that is doing so much good around the world.

I've been a KIVA lender for a number of years, and with a very very reasonable default rate. Small amounts for the average person can make a world of difference for many. I'll keep on sharing within my possibilities and making my small contribution to help drive positive change if only in a few people's lifes.

As a long time Kiva lender, I've had an opportunity to observe close-up the positive effect of micro lending all over the world. With my relatively modest contribution(s) to the Kiva organization itself, I've seen the cumulative effect of pooling funds to individuals who might have no other resources to improve their lives. Also, it seems that Kiva has built quite a substantial organization for vetting potential borrowers. With several hundred loans of experience, I personally have only had a couple of defaults.

Easy to help people so they can build a better life⭐️

Some years ago, I had a chance to work for a fund that has cooperated with Kiva as a field in the South of Vietnam. Since that, I knew very well about how Kiva team work to help borrowers around the world.
With our little amount together, I hope that we can change many people life who need a help.

I have been lending for over a decade. I have 201 loans with a tiny default rate. I have recycled my pool of capital 8 times. I am very happy with the prospect of lending in perpetuity and passing on this practice and capital pool to my children and grandchildren.

I like donating here as I can pick individuals/groups of interest to me in many 3rd world countries. The money comes back to you as the loans are repaid and I add some more funds and relend. the personal involvement really feels like I'm doing more good than many other charities I donate too.

Giving me the ability to help people build their businesses and their lives through micro loans is better than just a donation. Donations are easy to give. There are lots of choices of people and their goals. Updates on the businesses you have helped are available. Almost all of my loans have been paid back, allowing me to re-circulate the money to others.

Many loans to choose from, web site easy to navigate, a small amount of money given makes a significant help for borrower, my loans to women have a great history of repayment, very easy to relend the money to help another person. I have been using Kiva for several years.
