Great because its not a donation, its a loan to people who are doing something with their life and I am glad to be a part of helping people who help themselves

Awesome way to create a better world for all. Kiva has made it truly fun, safe and easy to make our world a better place for all people. I have been a monthly lender for many years and keep doing so because it feels just right.

Lending with Kiva is a highly effective way to help real people around the world who are trying to become entrepreneurs or start other occupations, and improve their lives and their families' lives. I can easily afford to participate in these micro-loans, where my contributions will be joined with other Kiva lenders in order to fund the borrowers. I love knowing I can help someone far away to improve their economic situation.

I have been participating for over twenty years. KIVA has a very thorough statistical system that lets you know the amount of good your loans provide. It allows you to select loans that support your favorite causes.

The loans seem properly arranged and the results seem to have a meaningful impact

Kiva makes loans to others easy, useful, targeted. It facilitates choices of region, country, gender, purpose - so we can select what speaks to our hearts. The system is well run. Feedback keeps the interest alive. And when a loan is repaid we can re-lend it to someone else.

I trust that Kiva is helping people improve their lives and given that there is so little one can trust these days, that's a great quality for an organization. It's not a bottomless pit of donations but it's a focused real fund to help others improve their lives.

Your donation is repaid and then relent to another borrower. You are able to help many folks over the years. Information is provided on the borrower and what they need the loan for. You also receive updates on loan recipients.

I have been lending on KIVA for many years. I especially appreciate the lending repayment relending aspect of KIVA. I am disabled and live on a fixed income. KIVA’s model allows me to help other people even on a tight budget.

It’s a wonderful idea to lend the money and actually get it repaid as opposed to to just giving a donation.

I've been donating funds to help people around the world for at least 10 years. I started giving through my employer, HP. I enjoy helping people which allows them to fulfill their dreams and ambitions. I've been focusing on helping refugees but there are so many others in the Kiva program that are provided for also, through the generosity of all who give to Kiva. I just added more to my donation this month so I could give to more people.

Kiva has been making small loans to individuals and groups for several years now, and I've made scores of small loans during that time. Almost all of the loans I've made have been paid back...back to Kiva...and that allows me to lend again..each time with a little more out of my pocket.
