Decently good
Decently good. I used it for around 2 years, and it worked. It's easy to learn the controls, and there has been a save option added (very nice!).
On to my criticism.
Kleki is super easy. But, the brushes are incredibly low quality. You can see the pixels, even on the largest canvas setting.
There is no blur brush. You CAN blend and smudge, but not blur a specific area. only the full layer.
Other than that, would reccomend! a great number of layers and settings! Good job devs!
Okay
For the most part, Kleki is a great/free program. I really wish there was a selection and a liquify tool on there though, it would make so many things that much easier.
I was drawing a masterpiece and I …

I wish I could add more than 8 layers, have clipping (It's way better than Alpha lock but it requires more layers than 8 if you have 5-7 layers.), add blending: Add, and more brushes (Blend, smudge, softer brushes, watercolor, it's not a brush but Lasso tool.)
Overall, I'd recommend Kleki.
Suggestions and experience
Kleki is a pretty good art for realism or for cartoon drawing but isn't really for anime, i'm a person with a anime style and would like some more tools.
-Add a "Add" option in the blending option
- More blending tools
- More tools
- selection tool
- Add some more blending options
- Anything that can be useful for anime art and shading, making it more like ibis paint x and taking inspiration.
Overall it's a great app for realism and is a-ok, wouldn't say it's perfect but it's ok, just recommend adding more tools etc.
I love this site!
I love this! It really nice and I use it almost everyday. The only things I would recommend to add is a stronger bucket tool- it leaves little white spots when you use it and I think it could be stronger. Also being able to crop layers separately. And more than 8 layers! And possibly more brushes. But this is really great and I wish more people knew about it!
why i will never reccomend this unless some things are added and or changed.
you should be able to crop layers separately, not only that, but there's no clipping, a max of 8 layers, sure, its good sometimes, but still.
Made some great art with this!
It's a little difficult for beginners, but it doesn't take forever to learn the mechanics. You can choose the exact colors, tools, and even add pictures that you've saved! It is very easy to use and add the tiniest of details. There's a small problem, though: The bucket tool leaves tiny spots when you use it but you can always paint over that. Kleki is still overall great! It's actually way easier than art on paper.
