I am extremely concerned about the services provided by KnownSRV.

Based on my observations, infrastructure associated with this provider appears to be hosting or supporting websites that may be involved in highly suspicious and potentially illegal activities, including black market platforms and phishing-related content.

I have reported these issues, but there does not seem to be sufficient action taken to address them. This raises serious concerns about abuse handling and enforcement of acceptable use policies.

Hosting providers have a responsibility to prevent misuse of their services, especially when it may put users and financial data at risk.

I strongly hope that this matter will be properly investigated by the relevant authorities and that appropriate action will be taken if violations are confirmed.

Until then, I would advise others to exercise caution.

I am writing to warn others about KnownSRV based on my own investigation.

What I found:
The pirate site 123Movies.net.pk is hosted on KnownSRV (AS200514). The site distributes copyrighted movies without permission.

What happened when I tried to report it:
I submitted a valid DMCA complaint to KnownSRV. They did not respond at all. This matches what other reviewers here have reported — KnownSRV has a clear pattern of ignoring legal abuse reports.

How I verified this:

· The IP address of 123Movies.net.pk belongs to AS200514 (KnownSRV)
· The site hides behind Cloudflare, but the origin server is KnownSRV
· KnownSRV's upstream provider is Hydra Communications (AS198610)

This is not an isolated case:
Other users have reported KnownSRV hosts:

· A scam site: actualteam.com (fake private investigator)
· Revenge porn and illegal content (see other Trustpilot reviews)
· Fraudulent billing and retaliatory account closures

KnownSRV's own general manager told a customer (quote from another review):
"You opened a PayPal dispute. That hurts our reputation on PayPal. You pay $2 per month. We will not take any trouble or risk for you." — Martin Horvat, KnownSRV Ltd

My conclusion:
KnownSRV is not a legitimate hosting provider. They knowingly protect pirates, scammers, and criminals by ignoring all abuse reports and hiding them behind Cloudflare. Any business or individual using KnownSRV is putting themselves at serious legal and reputational risk.

Avoid KnownSRV at all costs.

They are supporting an illegal website (napiszar.com)! Removal requests are rejected! A police investigation is underway against the specified page! The reasons: doxing, disclosure of personal data, revenge porn, unauthorized sharing of intimate images!

I rarely leave reviews, but this experience deserves to be shared.

I cancelled the auto-renewal for my domain girlbosscolorado.com, yet I was charged twice for a domain that should have been cancelled. I also paid $30 USD for my annual hosting — a legitimate payment for a service I wanted to keep active.

When I disputed the duplicate domain charge through PayPal (which PayPal ruled in my favor), the company retaliated by cancelling my hosting, even though that charge was never part of the dispute.

When I contacted support to have my hosting restored, this was the actual response I received from their general manager:

“You have opened PayPal dispute. This damages our reputation with PayPal.
You pay us $2/mo and we will not risk any hassle or risks associated with this service.”

That message says everything you need to know about how this company treats its customers. Instead of addressing a clear billing mistake, they blamed me for using PayPal’s buyer protection and punished me by cancelling a service I had already paid for.

The level of unprofessionalism and disregard for basic customer service is astounding. I strongly advise anyone considering KnownSRV to look elsewhere — this company does not stand behind its billing integrity or its customers.

KNOWNSRV are deeply complicit in illegal copyright infringement and outright abuse. They knowingly protect criminals by hiding them behind Cloudflare, and when you submit a valid, legal DMCA complaint, they don’t respond at all. This isn’t just negligence - it’s active participation in protecting piracy and theft.

They are not a legitimate hosting provider - they are enablers of fraud, copyright abuse, and criminal activity. Any business or individual trusting them is putting themselves at serious legal and reputational risk. Do not be fooled by their marketing - these are not professionals, they are crooks hiding behind technical loopholes.

Avoid KNOWNSRV at all costs. If you care about legality, ethics, or even basic customer service, go with a real provider. These people are a stain on the hosting industry.

They are hosting a scam site: actualteam.com. I filed an abuse report but they ignored as it seems to be their MO if you look a the other comments here. Stay away from these scammers.

beware ! My experience with them was horrible. Purchased domain full for 2 years. After the 1st year anniversary they sold my domain name - I found out when the website suddenly went offline. I inquired what was happening - they told me it was an error. They thought it was expired for some reason. They returned me $4 - The manager there seemed peaved because I was inquiring too much about what had occurred. Then I searched the name to purchase it back & it was selling for $500. I ended up buying another domain name with a similar name but this time kept it at the name server & did not transfer to knownserver. The second year was a nightmare. All our emails were getting zapped. Upon weeks of investigating & getting the runaround from them, I find most of their ip addresses were black listed. Seems like a lot of shady websites are there. I am outta there now - different domain name & webhost.

Great hosting provider. Had to change over after having some issues with my previous hosting.

Kruno is a nasty piece of work who's life will be ruined very soon unless he removes his illegal camgirl affiliate sites...

KnownSRV is friendly, easy to use and powerful at the same time. Their support is immediate and convenient, the uptime is solid as well (no case of a major downtime thus far) and they have a RAID10 storage which works amazingly fast. In conclusion- I like what they offer.

DO NOT TRUST.

They love to shout about their help service "pleased to assist 24/7" & advise that "Your security and privacy are our top priorities".

Absolutely untrue. This company host buybulkmeds.cn a fraudulent trader. When I tried to advise them of this & asked what action they were going to take, they continually closed tickets I raised (I kept asking them not to) they then restricted my access to this facility.

They ignored IMs "we respond within an hour" for over 24hrs but then when I submitted a review directly onto their FB page it was removed - within seconds!!!!!.....

In summary - as bad as the scam website (buybulkmeds.cn) they host.

On a positive note - if you're a fraudulent trader or scam artist you'll probably find that they fit in perfectly with your own company values & morals...
