This is way nicer than my kindle. Build quality is excellent. It’s fast and had no page lag.
I enjoy using this so much and have read many books from the library for free since it was delivered I takes about it so much that my other bought one as well
I’ve only have this ereader for around 2 weeks and I’ve already logged 24 hours of reading on it (and I love that it tracks that automatically). I’ve bought a couple books - on my browser and through the store on the kobo itself - when you browse on the device, you pay by scanning a QR code. DOUBLE CHECK YOUR PURCHASE AFTER SCANNING THE CODE. The QR code has pulled up the wrong book for me and I wound up buying a different book than I wanted. Luckily it was the second book in the same series and I wound up wanting it, but it was still frustrating bc there’s no easy means to get your money back. Easily managed with more vigilance at least. Otherwise, no complaints about the reading experience. Great battery life, easily navigated, lightweight, pleasant colors, it’s my new favorite toy in the world and it fits in most of my pockets.
Very flimsy and extremely poor customer service
It's a great e-reader with good options as it allows different types of e-books to be read on it.
I never thought I would read anything but a real book but I love my reader. It’s a lot easier on my eyes too!!
Absolutely the best investment I’ve made for my reading hobby.
Love it! Wouldnt trade it for anything :)
so great! ^^!~
The colors are very beautiful.
Love it! I love the size, that it's waterproof and has color.
I am a long time Kindle user. I bought the Kobo based on a WaPo article that said it had superior integration with the Libby app. The Kobo was a bit smaller, but fit better in my hand. The power button was in a sensible place, not like the Kindle's idiotic design. Integration with Libby (Overdrive) was good, with one exception. I use multiple library cards with my Libby/Kindle. On the Kobo that does not work. The Kobo is limited to one library log-in at a time. When you switch library cards (log in to a different library) the Kobo completely forgets all of the previous library. This was a deal breaker for me. I sent it back within an hour of opening the Kobo box. Sigh
I love it so much!!!!!!!!!!!! I take it everywhere. One of my favorite purchases everrrrrr
Does not work!
Works exactly as you hope with no unnecessary frills
It's a welcome change from my previous reader. It's lighter and easier to use. Connects to my library, so books automagically populate. It has a remote that is not bulky or awkward. The color is a nice to have. Best devoce purchase I've made in a long time.
Better than the kindle
Never thought I'd like an e-reader, but it's quickly become something I use on a daily basis and take with me everywhere. The screen is slow and finicky at first if you've never used an e-ink display before, but quickly for used to it within a few days. Used it to read some PDF books I already had, which were easy to upload with a simple USB cable, but I imagine the experience is better with ePUBs. It's small and convenient too.
it goes to sleep mode and never wakes up until I do a factory reset. It happens more than twice a day!! Also there were mositurize inside the protective screen the moment I opened the Kobo. Not a really good experience
