So easy to connect to Library to sign out books.
My only concern is that it went on sale for twenty dollars less two weeks after I bought it.
Incredible!
A new reader new colour and I am so looking forward to using it at Christmas
Comfortable to use. Nice screen with good colours and day and night modes. Very light and my hands do not get tired. Really love the fact that it is made with recycled materials. Wall enjoying kobo ecosystem.
Love it - can borrow library books!
Easy to understand, and use.
Bought as a Christmas present so is not yet in full time use. Has been checked and I am happy with it.
Love it! I really like that I can load my library books onto the e-reader. I am looking to purchase some soon but, overall so happy. I also like that it's able to be carried anywhere.
Crazy how Kobo can make a device just as capable and user friendly as Amazon yet have 10% of the customer base. This isn't right. Kobo is superior in every single way.
I was thrilled to find an eReader that’s compatible with Libby and not affiliated with Amazon. I prefer a standalone reader for multiple reasons, including for reading in bed. After my Kindle Paperwhite quit working, I did some research and decided to try the Klara Colour. I’ve been using it regularly for about three weeks. The battery life is excellent, and it’s easy to use.
I love my new Clara Colour. OK, the colour is subtle and subdued but it is so much nicer to have colour book covers than monochrome.
Its perfect
Easy to use, like all the features. Perfect size and not heavy, can hold and read for hours. Highly recommend!
Beautiful e-reader for a great price - my partner was so pleased with the gift and I'm a little jealous!
Its pretty neat and cute!
This eReader is easy to use and perfect for reading everywhere and everyday.
This is such a lovely eReader. Very light, easy to use. Beautiful screen, lovely lighting. I'm really enjoying reading again. Works fine with Overdrive so I can access library books without too much hassle.
I wanted to move away from Amazon and so researched and bought this to replace a 10 year old Kindle eReader. Firstly I loved it. I like the colour screen, I like how it reduces the blue light slowly during the day, when you set a bedtime, and I like how you can reduce the brightness by swiping up or down along the left hand side of the screen. I also like the official cover, it stands well both vertically and horizontally. However, I have had this just over one month and I have given it 1 star because it has crashed/died twice. The first time, I was reading and the screen just went off. No different combinations of pressing the rear button brought it back to life. It took a couple of hours and eventually, after Googling the problem, and doing a 30 second press, followed by 15 second press, this brought it back with a hard reset. This meant inputting the wi-fi password (cannot skip this screen, so if it had died while camping etc, I wouldn't have been able to set it up again) and going through all the settings again and putting them back to what I needed- text size etc. The following day it froze on a page, although this could be reset with a long press on the back, and it came back to life without losing the settings. Apparently according to others on forums, it's caused by an error in the book files and it can be corrected by side-loading books through some third party software. I have bought all the books directly through Kobo and I'm just an ordinary person and am not going to go through all this faff to get books onto the device. I'm going to give it one more chance and if it dies again I will be returning it. I have already given up with Audiobooks through the Kobo app. It's a recognised fault that on Android they pause frequently (roughly every 15 seconds). This is only fixed by doing a forced stop on the app and then I mustn't pause the audiobook, otherwise it happens again. I can see people complaining online about this for over 5 years and it still hasn't been fixed. I've gone through all the settings on my phone- making sure the app works over other apps, not going into battery saver etc, but nothing fixes it. Sorry Kobo, I really wanted this to be an alternative to Amazon, but unless these software issues are resolved, you are not a viable alternative.
