Although I do really enjoy the Kobo and Kobo Plus. I expected more after all the great reviews. The battery life is no where near what is stated. Even with the brightness down. The flicker of the screen during page turns or books searches is more intense than I expected even from seeing reviews. Also tons of problems with setting, including time and date. The quality is great and it feels good in your hand, The integration with Overdrive is amazing and I have been extremely impressed with the amount of translated work available on Kobo plus. There are so many positives, but the battery life is a huge negative for me as a heavy reader and the flicking getting annoying.

I honestly love it so much! I’ve never owned an ereader before, I’ve usually stuck to physical books or reading off my phone or tablet. I wanted something small that I could easily carry around without straining my eyes (because reading off a phone gets tiring for me) and it’s such a great product! The kobo libra is so light, I don’t get tired from holding it. I decided on this one since it would allow me to connect to my drive and upload pdfs of books I have, as well as allowing me to connect to my local library through their overdrive platform. It was super easy to get everything connected, and super easy to learn how to navigate. I also love that it connects to my StoryGraph account and updates my reading progress on its own! Such a great ereader, 10/10!

The Kobo Libra Color is an amazing E-Reader. The only downside is you have to purchase the kobo pen separately as notebook feature won’t work without it.

I bought this model so I can borrow ebooks from my library and read on my kobo. They dont transfer from my phone or laptop to the kobo

I love it! The color shows up well. It took me a little bit to get used to the user interface, and figured out where things are located compared to my previous e-reader. I like the auto adjust to lower blue light through the day. My only major complaint is there is a little delay in response when it is waking up.

As an avid Kindle user I decided to get the Kobo Libra Color so I can annotate as if it were a physical book. I'm sad to say that I haven't used my kindle much since.

The Rakuten Kobo Libra Colour was my birthday gift, and wow—I am completely obsessed. I absolutely loved my Kobo Clara and genuinely didn't think I could love another eReader more than that, but the Libra Colour has somehow exceeded all my expectations! One of my favourite Kobo features has always been OverDrive. Being able to borrow ebooks and audiobooks directly from my favourite libraries and access them whenever and wherever I want is such a game changer and one of the reasons I love Kobo so much. What really sets the Libra Colour apart for me are all the extra features. The Google Drive and Dropbox integration makes accessing my sideloaded ebooks incredibly easy, and the biggest upgrade has to be pen support. I love being able to highlight, annotate and jot down notes while reading. I'm also thrilled with the StoryGraph sync feature—such a fantastic addition for anyone who loves tracking their reading. And yes, I even bought the page-turning remote! It's perfect for those cold winter nights when you're wrapped up in a burrito blanket and refuse to stick a hand out from under the covers. I take this Kobo everywhere with me. The colour screen is beautiful, the reading experience is amazing, and honestly, I can't fault it. This has very quickly become one of my favourite possessions. It's my new reading BFF, and I already know we'll be spending many happy reading years together. If you're a fellow bookworm, this isn't just an eReader—it's pure reading joy.
