Thank you for sharing your experience. We can see that you purchased a retinol cream, and it’s important to know that dryness, tightness or mild irritation can occur when starting retinol.

Retinol should always be introduced gradually. We recommend using it 1–2 times per week at first, then slowly increasing frequency as your skin builds tolerance. Applying too much or using it too often early on can easily cause dryness.

Here are some helpful tips to reduce dryness and get better results:

- Apply retinol only in the evening
- Use a small, pea-sized amount
- Apply on completely dry skin
- Follow up with a rich, hydrating moisturizer
- Avoid combining retinol with strong acids or exfoliants at the same time
- Always use sunscreen during the day, as retinol makes skin more sensitive to UV

If dryness persists, take a short break and focus on barrier-repairing products before reintroducing retinol more slowly.
