If I could click 0 stars I would’ve

If I could click 0 stars I would’ve. I cancelled on September 5 2025. They did not accept my cancellation until I called again multiple times. Finally, I thought I cancelled on November 6 2025 but it is April 9 2026 and they are still billing me!! SEVEN months after I cancelled and returned my product. Not to mention their wifi is awful! I wouldn’t even recommend KPN to someone I hate. Truly awful.

KPN is a shameful

KPN is a shameful, scamming, misleading, unfaithful, and rude company.
When I registered as a new client for Internet and TV due to their TV and Laptop promotion, I was aiming for an extra laptop for my work. However, they betrayed me.
Those who got a TV, are complaining due to a low-quality 300 euro TV delivered compared to what was advertised 599euro. What a scam!

Moreover, what surprised me as a new customer was that all the agents I talked to multiple times from KPN who were promoting the gifts on their website didn't know their partner, Sidekix, who was responsible for sending the gifts.
By the way, I also talked to Sidekix 3 times sidekix they told me that KPN didn't send us any information about you to deliver your gifts. This shows the level of scam running in this trash company.
I wasted my time and energy for nothing.
I will report this shameful company to the Netherlands, Geschillencommissie Telecommunicatiediensten, for further investigation.

Worst customer experience

Would never recommend it go ziggo instead.
Had so much issue with the fiber installation. They closed my case and did show up for appointments. Neighbors been complaining to me that they didn’t show up for appointments and caused a mess outside their house. Everyone in my building told me to go for ziggo but sadly I had a 2 year contract with KPN and I am stuck now. I will never in my life make the mistake of going with KPN again. I thought how bad it could be but they proved me wrong.

Just had a contact with an employee of…

Just had a contact with an employee of this company after my request to be called back! It took me 8 minutes to describe what my problem is. He kept repeatedly asking the same question and at some point he concluded that a fake number called me! Im surprised KPN is recruiting mentally unstable people at their customer support line!

I wish I could give 0 star

I wish I could give 0 star. I switched to KPN 2-year contract because of the Dyson V10 welcome gift.
The gift was delayed by 2 months and eventually the package came damaged with a big hole throughout all the packaging. The KPN customer service called and said I have to accept the damaged Dyson, as they couldn't help me further AND they also refused to email me their decision and wished me good luck in the call. Well done, KPN. If you are about to switch providers, you can skip KPN already -- worst customer service ever.

Don’t do the same mistake

made a huge mistake switching from Odido to KPN. From day one, the problems started. The installation and activation were delayed without clear communication, leaving me without reliable service longer than promised. Once it was finally active, the internet quality was shockingly poor — constant drops, slow speeds, and unstable connection that made normal use frustrating.

I kept being told to “upgrade” or add packages to fix the issues. I trusted their advice and ended up paying for the highest VIP/top package they offer, expecting premium performance and support. Instead, nothing improved. It feels like a complete scam to charge premium prices for a service that simply does not exist at the level advertised.

Customer support response times were far from what was promised, and the solutions offered never resolved the core problems. I’m now paying more than ever for worse service than I had before switching. If you’re considering moving your network to this provider, think twice — my experience has been extremely disappointing and costly.

Absolutely abysmal

Absolutely abysmal. I pay a lot of money for wifi and data, and the wifi speec sucks and when i go abroad the data dosent work. After an hour i finally mamage to get someone on the phone only for them to tell me there's nothing they can do.
Do NOT go with KPN.

Oustanding Service !!!

My experience with KPN in the recent weeks has been outstanding and way beyond being excellent !! From a customer service who really cared and immediately followed up to solve possible challenges right away to the installation of the new service. I have never experienced a more competent, friendly, and knowledgeable mechanic before. All in all, highly recommendable with an outstanding service from start to finish !!!

KPN offers bad/fiber/wifi in comparance…

KPN offers bad/fiber/wifi in comparance with ziggo, apart from higher cost is experience inhome not the same.(with same contract) I would not recommend KPN higher cost lower comfort. So Kpn shows that higher contract cost does not atomaticly support higher level you might expect. Also no Solutions given to create more comfort when e-mail stuck in system due to bad connection. Changing kpn contract will let to higher cost and no discount at the end of it.

Unreliable Service and Incompetent Customer Support

KPN - Kinda Pathetic Network

There is bad internet and then there is kpn thuis. They had a technical glitch due to which their wifi modem adapter wasn’t functioning. This caused wifi disruption for several weeks at my home. Till this date kpn hasn’t compensated. And yet they act as if consumers are wrong. KPN - Kinda Pathetic Network.

Incredibly bad

Worst Internet
Slow, unpredictable and don’t help you
I contacted them about switching to fibre optic and the original start date was 31 January and they immediately switched to 19th of March because they were calling my son and not me and I put his number there when my phone got stolen and I also contacted them multiple times (via facebook ) and told them to call me and they didn’t listen.
And I’m forced to stay with them because I can’t switch as it’s too difficult
Switched for better experience, but it became even worse

Worst internet service I’ve ever had

Worst internet service I’ve ever had. Daily router restarts just to get online, constant connection issues, and useless support with different excuses every time.
Endless bots, long waiting times, and no real help — even when you work from home and urgently need internet.
Now I know why people in my area are leaving KPN. I’m next.
Paying for something you don’t get is ridiculous.

Expats be aware - customer service with nationalistic attitudes

I discovered that an insurance package I had cancelled was still being charged, so I called customer service to resolve it.

But the customer service rep was rude and acted like I was trying to scam them. When I asked him to be professional, he said:

“I am already being nice to you, because I am speaking English to you - THIS IS THE NETHERLANDS”.

He then switched to speaking Dutch only, like a passive aggressive child. Possibly insulting me in Dutch as well. Unprofessional, childish, dismissive, and just arrogant.

When I filed a complaint, KPN just brushed it off. I was a KPN customer for 8 years. But that day, I immediately went downstairs and switched all my personal, family, and business contracts to a different provider.

They probably don't care. Although their sales team kept cold-calling me afterwards.

Unbelievable.

Made a subscription for internet with…

Made a subscription for internet with fiber optic in middle November 2025. At today 28 January 2026 still no internet no technician no fiber. They keep sending emails saying that someone will call me shortly but no one ever calls.Calling customer service doesn't help they just talk without ever find a solution.When I subscribed they say that by 28 December I could use the connection then all the time one excuse but still after 2 months no signs of kpn.Third world country service and company I'm surprised to find such a bad company in a developed country such as the netherlands.What a shame.

The internet is very bad

The internet is very, very bad. The speed is very low compared to what is purchased and it always disconnects. We are always struggling with no internet at home. You don't have good service at all.
