We made a large purchase of evidently a faux leather sofa, loveseat, and two recliners in March 2025. They were delivered in July of 2025. We were greatly disappointed to see how lazy boy quality has... See more

Simple deliver made complicated and expensive
We spent a lot of money on a chair, paid for delivery and asked that it not be delivered within a time window as we would not be home.
LaZBoy continued to schedule it for that time we said we would not be available and when I called I was told there were no notes made on the file and we need to schedule it during the work week now.
Delivery is a lot of money and they don't offer any confirmation of when until after it's scheduled.
Asked her if I could log a complaint. She said I could do that with her and she would pass it on.
After asking what that meant, service rep said management wasn't working today and that she didn't know how a complaint would be handled.
I asked if they would call me back, she responded with yes. I asked if she had my phone number, she said yes and than confirmed the number after I suggested she do so.
La Z Boy Leather / Pleather furniture stucks
Where do I begin, we have a leather recliner that we purchased from Fleming Island La z boy gallery in 1999 in Jacksonville Fl and we still have it till this day the quality, craftsmanship is just awesome. So we decided to purchase a Lazboy sofas and love seat from Lott’s furniture Waycross Ga in 2017. And I’m still in shock as to how this so called leather/pleather is embarrassing to say it is from La z boy the manufacturers should be ashamed of themselves. This is worst peeling so called leather/ pleather I have ever seen. Poor Quality,Poor Craftsmanship and there’s a difference in material if you buy it third party from a store and not the la z boy galleria store . I’m so disappointed and ashamed of having this peeling crap of furniture in my house. Poor product, just awful. I have called and complained and to no avail, nothing. There needs to be a Class Action Lawsuit!!!! La Z Boy Furniture Stucks!!!
Lazboy’s Poor Quality
Been buying lazy boy for years, but now the quality and customer service have gotten so horrible. Just went through 3 recliners that were all defective in different ways. I requested a refund after the first one, but only store credit was available. After waiting 6 weeks for the first one, I wanted one in stock if possible, they had one with upgraded padding and was cheaper, why? After a few days I realized why this chair was discounted and discontinued, and not comfortable. Sent it back. These were both just simple manual operated recliners. Ended up getting a power recliner, more expensive, but in stock. After a few days I noticed fabric lint on my carpet and kept on shedding, plus the back of the chair felt like it was coming apart, plus the lumbar seemed too be backwards. Plus when they send a 3 rd party repair guy, he’s just a parts changer, no other knowledge of these chairs. They finally agreed to refund me, but now it’s been over a month trying to get it. But I’m getting closer, since the first chair was financed and paid off, that needs to be processed through the financial folks and they will send me a check. The other amount, I paid with my credit card and have to go the store to get that refunded. I have never had so much hassle in my life. Never buy another LA-Z-BOY again.

Purchased two La-Z-Boy recliners at the same time with two different fabrics. One of them has held up beautifully; the other is looking like it's about 20 years old. The fabric is a mess. I spoke with the manufacturer about this issue; they said the retailer needs to deal with this issue and I told them I've not been able to get any resolution from the seller. The seller did send a rep from their service dept and he said that the chair is dirty and needs cleaning. The chair has been covered since day 1 and is not dirty. The fabric is wearing badly with lots of pilling and areas of disintegration. I used to think La-Z-Boy was a great company with great products. No longer feel that way. Hoping to prevent others from being so disappointed in a very expensive piece of furniture with no option for a resolution.

We had a wonderful experience with Noemi at the La-Z-Boy store in Kirkland, Montreal. She was extremely helpful throughout our purchase, and we are delighted with our new furniture.
Noemi took the time to thoroughly explain not only the features of the products, but also the advantages and benefits, which helped us feel confident in our decision. Her knowledge, patience, and attention to our needs made a significant difference.
We made a substantial investment in a complete convertible sofa system, and we are very pleased with our purchase. Noemi made the entire experience comfortable, informative, and enjoyable. We would certainly recommend her to anyone considering a La-Z-Boy purchase.
The quality of products has totally declined.
I bought a LazyBoy recliner six years ago. After teo years the fauz leather is disintegrating. The materials are awful. The store could care less. I have another LazyBoy recliner that I bougt 25 years ago and it is in perfect condition. I never have seen such a terrible decline in quality.

I purchased 2 recliners in 2023,thinking they were still well made.Boy I was wrong, the one is so out of shape ,it’s ridiculous.I bought the extended warranty, and they say it’s just for the mechanics. They used to last for years,so sad they went so downhill on quality.I will never waist money on their products again.

I am so disappointed in La-Z-Boy. My expensive Pinnacle power couch has the stuffing disintegrating after 1 1/2 years (I am still paying on it) and there is a charge to have this repaired! UNBELIEVABLE. I will never buy from La Z boy again.
Seat spring broke and arm rest leather…
Seat spring broke and arm rest leather is worn off. Been buy Liz boy since 1972 and this is last one for me. This chair is 5 years old only. Yes they will warranty the seat spring but I would have to paid $17.00 shipping plus labor. I say this is a very poor warranty. Future purchases will be at local stores or big box. Very said this brand is so poor. As a 100% disabled Veteran I can’t afford this.
I purchased a Piper Loveseat from…
I purchased a Piper Loveseat from La-Z-Boy on February 14, 2026 and it contained 3 defects. The next five months of attempting to have the flaws corrected under the warranty were met with ineptitude, poor customer service and lack of regard for my time. Most of the problems relate to the vendor that performs warranty repairs for La-Z-Boy; however, the La-Z-Boy customer service process was also flawed. I was unable to find anyone that could exercise control over the repair company or address the service issues I encountered. I finally returned the Loveseat and asked for a refund. I told the store manager (Aurora, Colorado) and the corporate office that I no longer wanted to do business with them.
The problems encountered included canceled appointments, not showing up for scheduled appointments, showing up for appointments and not having what was needed to perform the repairs. Each of these instances involved me waiting at least 3 hours for the technician to show up. La-Z-Boy customer service told me there was no one to elevate my issues to. The store manager where I bought the Loveseat claimed to escalate my issues twice, but nothing happened.

Bought 2 supposed to be leather recliners and the material is terrible. They once were good product but very poor for the money.
The sales representative was FABULOUS
The salesperson, Tiberius Walz, in the Happy Valley location, was extremely helpful, arranging a purchase and delivery in short order.
Recliners have been replaced at least…
Recliners have been replaced at least twice each. Material has huge tears in it. I spent 5 k 2 ish years ago and I am positive I could have get ten better on temu! Do not waste your money. It is absolutely garbage. There is also entire groups of people with the same experience.
Poor quality
Poor quality. Seats cave in and foot release on one recliner too stiff to push down. I was sold an extra insurance policy but it won't cover labor. If I pay them to come look I will have to pay them to come back to fix the problem. I paid a lot of money for this furniture. I expected better
Well just like everyone else I believe…
Well just like everyone else I believe this is very low quality cheap material sourcing furniture that I've ever seen my entire life I'm 60 years old. I've never witnessed furniture fall apart so fast from the part that was made from plastic that reclines the chairs to the vinyl that peels in between the armrest and the seat itself. After looking underneath the chairs I discovered unacceptable inferior parts and hardware. I'm embarrassed for the people who work for lazy boy and the poor salesman have to sell their junk to the public and lie to them about the warranties and the returns this is a company that doesn't want to help you out they're big corporate trying to squeeze every last cent out of you on a piece of crap stay away from lazy boy I rather sit on a rock.
Defective Recliner!
On November 25, 2025, I purchased the Wynne Gliding Recliner for $2,199, along with a Service Plan for $248/
A month ago, when I reclined the furniture, I heard a loud 'ping' and 2 large screws fell out of the recliner. I picked up the screws and set them aside.
Today I had a service call and the technician discovered that no springs were ever attached to the recliner, which means that the recliner is defective.
I called customer service and told them that in light of this discovery, I should be entitled to an additional year of warranty, as I no longer trust that this very expensive recliner is reliable. Her answer was 'no/,
My decision to purchase a recliner from La-Z-Boy is based on the good reputation for quality goods.
I will not purchase anything from them again. I'm disgusted and disappointed in this company.
Sectional with recliner poor
I have had many recliners and have been good i got a l-shape couch an has been a disaster falng apart in less that 6month s and giving excuses like you dont have a rug dont bother with lazyboy furniture they are poor qualty and poor servce 7,000 dolars and junk stay away from them poor service and poor quality ive had them since the 1990,s and now they are piss poor serice and quility
Excellent communication and setup
Excellent communication and setup. Nice recliner.Very comfortable. Lazy Boy did a 👍 job
Don't buy Lazy-Boy
Without a doubt Lazy -boy furniture is the worst! I purchased a recliner 2 years ago from them and it broke down in less than a year and that was after several repairs. I was given a store credit so I got another recliner but a different model in hopes that it was better. It has now been a year and a half and it has broken down and I am stuck with it. I will probably give it to a second hand store and buy a new recliner from a different manufacturer. stay clear of Lazy-Boy.
Lazy boy unwarranted
Fastener on my recliner mechanism that folds out foot rest snapped and broke. Contacted local dealer to come out and look at it, first thing out of their mouth was it was going to be a $125 to fix and they would have to bring it to the shop for repairs. The warranty clearly states lifetime warranty on mechanisms. Well, if the fastener is holding the mechanism in place you would think that it's part of the mechanism, but they refused to admit that it was not part of the mechanism. On top of that, there were going to be six pieces of furniture ahead of mine before mine was to be repaired.
Buyer beware! lazy boy, warranty isn't what it's cracked up to be
