Awful

Booked to collect a car from Venice airport. Car collection desks are a long trek through the airport. Not Locauto’s fault, but the beginning of problems as by the time we had located desk, we were already past our booking time. Massive queues, waited 1hr in queue to get to the front and be told our booking had gone and as we had booked through a 3rd party we would have to ring them to rearrange. After speaking to easycar, they cancelled and refunded our original booking and booked a new one - exactly the same type of car (but for an extra £100), but couldn’t put immediate collection as computer wouldn’t allow it, but that as car was available locauto should be able to sort it then.

Loacuto refused to do this, making us wait another 2 hours for our ‘new’ booking time, and refused to even let us expediate our collection - we had to queue for another hour on the 2nd go to get to the desk and collect the car.

So in all we wasted nearly 4hours of our holiday on collecting the car, finally getting our 10 o’clock car at 2 o’clock, and having to pay an extra £100.
