Fantastic job on our Porsche 930 interior. This car previously owned by a Porsche factory test driver was delivered originally with a match to sample interior. Lakewell went out of their way to create an exact match of the leather based on the original sample. Delivery of the interior took about 5 weeks. Fit and finish were to perfection. I cannot thank these people enough. They are head and shoulders above the rest.

Let me preface this with the fact I have bought quite a lot from Lakewell and the quality and experience has been great up until now and previously I would have given them a 5 star review.
However, after purchasing a dashboard from them I have learned the hard way that when things aren't right, they aren't interested.
The dash arrived damaged, to which they offered a token refund of 60 Euro on a 1350 Euro part for me to go and buy the materials to fix it and then fix it myself.
Next up when coming to fit the dash, which should be an easy slot in I quickly discovered it didn't fit.
Doubting my abilities I handed it over to a professional restorer who also could not make it fit. After chasing them for three weeks they replied with some workarounds to try and make it fit, again it should just bolt in. It still doesn't fit and now Lakewell have ignored my contact attempts for a month. Leaving me out of pocket for an expensive part plus 4 hours of specialist labour and we all know how expensive that is.
So buyer beware, they are generally quite good but if you have a problem you will be on your own and out of pocket

I ordered a complete set for a 356 and also had the seats done by Lakewell. Very nice and good finish, good quality for an interesting price.

I have been very pleased with Lakewell. I have been a difficult customer asking for different car parts to be sent to different parts of the world - where there were some customs mishaps - however Lakewell took care of these requests with utmost care and detail. They were very responsive and eventually all parts arrived safely at their destination. Highly recommended!

Very nice carpet set for a Ferrari 328. It seems to be of a higher quality than the original. Softer and more dense.

Superb job on the restoration of my Porsche 964 interior.
The complete interior retrim was done to concourse standards. The bespoke 'Singer style' touches I requested were done very tastefully with and unbelievable eye for detail
All I can say is WOW and thank you.
Coming from a perfectionist that means something.
Cannot wait to do another one.

I do not write reviews often since i think many people only use review sites to complain without hearing the other side of the story.

But my experience with lakewell was soo bad i really feel the need to warn people for this company.

I had similar experiences to other people, real poor quality carpet sets and real unfriendly customer service ! I tried to return the set but Lakewell.com refused telling me the set was custom made for my car which is ridiculous since i just order straight from the website Interior carpet set Porsche 911 ‘74-‘83 (Color: Black Model: Convertible)
Sorry ! please protect yourselve and buy somewhere else. Parts are really nothing special and easy to source elsewhere.

I've been a Porsche collector for more than 20 years. Lakewell has always been my go-to-place for everything interior. Top-notch craftsmanship and OEM spec materials. Also for hard to find / NLA parts, a real treasure chest. Highly recommended.

We bought a dashboard from this company
After installation on the first trip a big bubble developed under the dash material

We contacted Lakewell and they first tried to blame our installation and finally offered to repair the NEW dash for an extra fee of about 30% of the new price.

We wanted to just return the dash and get our money back but this was refused

Another joke: we ordered Door Speakers (Pair) Porsche 911 ’74-’89 according to their website “These are beautifully engineered high performance speakers, remanufactured to original Blaupunkt measurements and appearance.”

at the costs of euro 96 a pair .
we received Visaton artnr 2060 (FR12) available for euro 26 at any other store !!

what a rip off !

My experience with Lakewell (2017) was similarly, not the best. Lost few hundred dollars and still have no carpet in my car. I ordered seat covers and a carpet for 993. I admit they put some effort to do the seats, although the leather was of questionable quality. Some local trimmers questioned if this was leather at all....
The quality of the carpet that came was an "economy version" of the german silverknit, nothing what I had in the car.
When I contacted the company, I was told to pay for return shipping and they will also take additional 10% away for restocking. What a joke!!
Not recommended, stay away.

Bought several items from this company. Upon arrival our professional upholstery guy with years of experience found the carpet set too thin to work with.
I asked to return the set but after much discussion in which Lakewell tried reject the return they finally expected but i had to pay a restock fee !!!

Talking about bad customer service !
