I bought a Scaffold High Table with a Planked top in January & i received it not as described, it was way too high & the legs were badly installed so I called in to Dan Lambert whom came out to the London Property and exchanged the table for the correct one.
Some weeks thereafter the exchange it was discovered that the Table top made of Scaffold Boards had started to buckle/belly in the middle plank causing the whole table to buckle & this is continuously getting worse as the weeks turn into months & still no comunication with Lambert and Sons Interiors, they just had blanked me, i went back to ebay of where i originally bought through but as this was months ago i could only send the seller a normal message, so i did, and i included pictures showing the centre plank warped that badly it had caused the end steel straps to also buckle in the middle which is a safety concern for my tenants & all of this seems to of happened because Dan Lambert did not install 2 strips of supporting wood which the legs should of sat on which should of also been screwed into the underside of the planked top, the 1st table i got had this in but the exchange did not.
I was further meet with no communication, then after many many many weeks of trying i did get 1 single ebay message back saying they would get back to me shortly but they never did so i then started a claim through Paypal which is presently in the final stages as the seller also have been ignoring me via PAYPAL claim process so its now in escalation stage due to sell still not replying what-so-ever.
BUYERS BEWARE, this item i received was/is not Fit for Purpose & the sellers are not interested in resolving issues such as mine regardless to how many times you may contact them.
Everyone can make mistakes as was done in this instance by the seller yet this is not the issue here as we are all human hence fallible, the issue is that the issue was not just not resolved but instead the matter was outright ignored hence leaving me out-of-pocket & disgruntled to say the least.
Lambertandsons and/or Dan Lambert in my opinion is a COWBOY outfit to which needs to be reported to Trading Standards & prosecuted accordingly.
I am considering commencing Legal proceedings against this Company myself.
