I had an extremely negative experience…

I had an extremely negative experience with their customer service. They showed a complete lack of consideration and the delays in resolving my issue extended to a frustrating 20 business days. I cannot express how disappointed I am with their service, and as a result, I cannot recommend them.

No Shipment After 3 Weeks

Ordered a foundation on May 19th, it is June 12, it has not shipped out.
Customer representative said I could not cancel my order when e-mailed in early June and that I could ship it back after receiving it and be refunded.

What the hell? It's been almost a month.

**Update on Sept. 17, 2023: Amelie, the GM of Lancome Canada, had e-mailed me with an apology and explanation. A promo code was given, I used the code and it works. I appreciate the proactiveness of Amelie and the usability of the promo code. I felt like her e-mail showed goodwill and sincerity. So thank you.

Zero stars if I could

Zero stars if I could. My first order arrived in a timely manner. My second order has been over a month, and I am still waiting as it hasn't even been sent. Customer service stated three weeks due to change in management...whatever that means. Will never use Lancome again and will switch products.

Don't order online because of poor after sales service.

There was a problem with my order and I tried to contact lancome.ca via email and via chat on the web page but none of them. It's very disappointing with the after sales service. And it takes a long time to respond to customers. I'm not sure why lancome.ca doesn't prioritize omnichannel customer response. (Even the call channel failed very badly) My order was delivered to a location other than my home. And I immediately tried to contact lancome.ca but it's frustrating that they haven't responded yet. It's a mistake caused by lancome.ca with poor after sales service...I can only hope they take responsibility with a full refund or reship out to me again. (but disappointment happened to me when they didn't respond after I contacted them and reported the problem to them)

They sent my order to the wrong address…again wont reroute it

They sent my order to the wrong address; my previous address in fact but they couldn't even get that right and delivered it to a neighbor. They very proudly sent me an email that they are re sending the order to the same incorrect address. I have spent loads of time on phone and chat to no avail they can't seem to figure out how to purge the old address even though the correct address is in the system I love their products but their customer service is horrifying. to boot when you call the number on the email they try to sell you some medical device on promotion before you can get to customer service. They wand ME to contact ups and pay 27$ to have it rerouted. WTW?? I have been using their products for decades but I think it's time to stop I can't support this horrible service. I will be seeking a replacement products

Lancome caused Skin Breakout in HIVES

Purchased several Lancome products on their website during 2022 Thanksgiving Black Friday sale to stock up for future use. (My prior purchases of Lancome was in a department store). I started using the products purchased around end of January/early February 2023 and quickly noticed my skin SEVERELY broke out in HIVES. I called Lancome and asked to have my money back because I was harmed, and was advised the 30-days-return policy passed -- therefore an escalated person would get back to me. The severe allergic breakout caused harm which required a dermatologist doctor visit. I again called Lancome and was advised a person with "medical" knowledge would call back. I am waiting.

False label

In spring of 2022 I got a bottle of foundation over the summer I don't use much but in October I noticed the label started to peal off from the steam in the bathroom,I like thing neat so I started to pull off the label underneath was the real label etched onto the glass jar with expired date of NOVEMBER 2021 but the label they put on top was NOVEMBER 2022 so when I got this it was already expired I called Lancôme the person I spoke to said you only have 30 days from purchase and said I will give you 25% off your next purchase I SAID NO I WANT TO SPEAK TO A SUPERVISOR she said she would hand my complaint over to someone else.Here it is MARCH 24 2023 I have sent about 4 emails all I get is we are looking into it. So Lancôme sell outdated product my advice is you have NO IDEA WHAT YOU ARE USING FROM THIS COMPANY so you need to pull off all glued labels before you buy any Lancôme products or better yet just use a different company. Also they have TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

Do not believe what Lancôme promote on the web site

Do not believe what Lancôme promote on their website. They advertise free gifts, and engraving but do not follow through with the promotion. They also offer discounts for signing up to newsletters but do not follow through, even when you write to them and ask.
For expensive products the website and service are very poor.

I miss the old foundation

I have been buying lancome foundation for around a year now and my perfect shade was 21.
However a few weeks ago I was told they discontinued that product and that I would need a new shade. The lady at the counter matched me however when I got home the foundation was so pink. I took the foundation back and the new shade of 21 was also not right. Why did you change the foundation as it was amazing.
I have now moved over to Charlotte Tilbury foundation however it also isn't great and I preferred the old lancome foundation.

I always find staff at Lancome always match me to a pink foundation when I don't have pink skin and it never blends into my neck. They also never have testers and I think its always nice for a customer to test foundation at home.
I feel new foundation is very powdery and darker on my skin. The old foundation would glide onto my skin and the new one it's difficult to put on. I used both makeup brush and sponge.

I can't return a product

Lancome changed all the number codes for their foundations. I had nothing to go on to order my regular shade. I tried to match a shade I thought would work by looking at online pictures. The shade was entirely off. Although Lancome advertises free returns and 100% satisfaction guaranteed, I have been unable to return this product. I have called ten times. No return label came in the shipment. There is a link in an email that asks for your order number. Every time I have tried this, the system says the order number is invalid. When I speak with representatives on the phone, they tell me they will try to contact a supervisor. They can never find one. They then told me they would escalate my case for a return label and have one emailed. A return label never comes. The hold times on the phone to resolve this has been an average of twenty minutes. I have no way of returning this product.

Lancolme Store St. Albans

I visited the St. Albans Store on 4/3/23 unfortunately I didn't get the assistants name but she was extremely helpful and she matched the idole ulta wear foundation perfectly to match my skin tone she was very professional and very patient. I am very pleased with the results of the foundation.

They are not even worthy of one star

They are not even worthy of one star, but it isn't possible to do that! Appalling customer service. I have been waiting to be reimbursed by cheque for the worst mascara I have ever used. Still waiting since 30th November. The excuses are pathetic. I have emailed on numerous occasions and have also spoken to four employees but still nothing. They are possibly the worst company I have ever dealt with.

irresponsible, how come Lancome is an international brand?

I bought a 115ml serum gift set a week ago, but Lancome sent this cream to me. Sending a faulty item is not a problem, but the customer service responds VERY SLOW and keeps asking the same information from me without solving the issue. The problem is simple, they could just resend the right item to me, but they never did that. Instead, they are not responsive to my email and complaints, never apologise, and never want to resend the right item to me. I don't care if there are technical issues or any other problems, I just want the product that I ordered...or you can just give me a refund...so disappointed about their online service...I will never buy Lancome again from their online stores.
