This company is a scam

This company is a scam. When you make a purchase you unknowingly get signed up to their membership scheme for AUS$70 per month and they won’t give you a refund once it appears in your credit card.

Absolute scam!

Absolute scam. I bought what I thought was a leather handbag from Ivy Handbags in Birmingham. I even came out of Instagram as I didn't trust those types of sites and found what looked to be their genuine site. It turns out that it's a subscription site they set you up on. They took out £34.95 last week and now another £49.99 this week. I emailed them and it bounced back, so their email doesn't exist. I called and spoke to somebody and they said they cancelled the "subscription" and they actually emailed to confirm, but of course I don't believe them. I've called my bank to block any further transactions from this site. Ive also cancelled my debit card and logged a dispute immediately to get my money back for both transactions. Please beware Ivy Handbags and Landersfame. One is a cover up scam for the other.

Difinitely don't shopping on instagram for a shop you don't know

The company advertise products on Instagram. I purchased it with my credit card at USD39. then I found that I was direct debited one week after at USD49. I went back to check my email for the first order I made and found that landersfame.com had sent the invoice for the purchased products with a login detail. I logged in and found that I am subscribed on their website at the cost of USD39 and USD49.99 on monthly basis. No products for sale, just 2 subscriptions. Cancelled it from the website and cancelled all the credit cards. That's definitely a scammer.

Beware, fraudulent website who will keep taking your money!

Beware, beware, beware, Fraudulent company. They got my debit card details from something else I thought I was purchasing for £3 in November but they then took another £24.95 out of my account a few days later! Can’t get hold of them but I managed to log in to their website after a lot of searching and cancelled what they are calling a monthly subscription to deals online but charging people £24.95 per month for. I had an email confirmation to say I had then cancelled the automatic renewal but on 31 Dec, my bank notified me to say another £3 was pending to come out of my account! Knowing how they work, I knew they would then take another £24.95 out a few days later which I was adamant they wouldn’t get so I had to take the drastic action of freezing my bank card and asked my bank for a new card! Be very careful about any special deals you see on social media platforms as there are a lot of fraudulent shopping companies jumping on the band wagon!

Too bad there are not negative stars!

If I could, I would give Landersfame.com a negative star review. There business practice appears to be with all the slight of hand of a snake oil salesman. The fist thing is I was blindsided with a questionnaire about a recent purchase of an electric toothbruch and told I would get, what basically works out to be an upgreaded version. Nothing in the offer said anything about landersfame.com. Secondly, I was asked to pay the postage, £3.00 for the item. That in itself should have been enough to stop me, but it didn't seem unreasonable. Then, after confirming on site that I would be getting the item, I recieved no followup confirming email. Then two days later my debit card was charged an additional £24.99, which turns out to be a bi-monthly chage. Apparently I was signed up for an account for discount electronics at £50./mo. Of course I neither signed up for the account, nor did I know about it. I found out about the "membership" when I tried to find out why they had charged me the extra £25. Apparently I'm not getting the electric toothbrush. To deal with the company via chat is genric. They will admit to nothing, claim they don't do toothbrushes and are apparently unaware that they deal in questionnaires. They also don't do refunds. They finnally agreed to close the account, next month, but aggreed to take it out of the system immediately when I inisted upon it. In rechecking the questionnaire request email, I found no reference to landersfame.com and only noticed them at the end when the sending of the toothbrush was confirmed and of course when the charges showed up on our bank account. This is certainly a bad way to conduct business and is surrounded by the suggestions of dishonest dealings. On the up side, I have informed my bank and changed my card.
