Paid for a Mondeo btcc bodyshell with full decal set. When the bodyshell arrived not much thought had gone into packing material & a decal sheet was missing. Got two out of the 3 decal sheets. The delivery cost was a bit dear too.
Emailed about the missing decals & got no response. Seems to be a regular occurrence, just wish I’d seen the reviews before i ordered.

Paid for a Tamiya Clod Buster kit on preorder, was told it would be a few weeks wait. Waited 3 months and every time I called he said it was the Tamiya rep who was messing him around and being unprofessional or his suppliers who were out of stock or all sorts of stupid excuses.
Final time I called he said he would refund me, now he ignores all my calls, he won’t answer the phone to several of my phone numbers. The shop owner is a complete spineless theiving worm.
I’m now currently perusing a Barclays payment resolution, failing that it will be the small claims court and debt recovery. He will pay the expenses for this, I will also write as many negative reviews as possible. JUST AVOID THIS SCAMMER. HE WILL PROBABLY GO INSOLVENT AT ANY MOMENT.

Used them several times buying various Tamiya chassis kits and parts only ever had 1 issue probably due to miss communication when raised the items turned up next day, left a message and they phoned back within the hour so in my own experience they have been ok to deal with and I will probably use them again

Terrible company.
Getting orders wrong and sending wrong items only to be ignored when asking for a solution.
Quality of goods are terrible, postage is slow, they didnt even send the package out until I started chasing it up a week later.
Communication comes across as sarcastic and rude. Won't be using this company again.

I purchased a sticker set off this company in November, it said it was in stock and as I was in a rush for the set I paid the postage to hopefully get it within the next few days. Well nearly a month later I hadn’t received anything or any information from the seller about the delay. I tried emailing and calling them in regards to my order, no reply from any of my attempts. In the end I threatened taking this further and I finally got a reply saying I will get a refund. That’s fine, I’m glad I got my money back but now it’s a month later and I’m now going to have to start all over again trying to get what I need to finish my project. It’s nearly Christmas so I’m realistic not going to get anything this year. This is very annoying as I’m half way through and can’t go any further without this sticker set.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! They will take your money and waste your time! They don’t even deserve one star!!

Giving out false information Nitro RC. Implying that Nitro RC is dying out completely and that there won’t be any progression. This statement has only been made because the shop deals with mainly brushless models and services.

Instead of being biased and one sided how about you carry out some research and answer the question properly.

Great customer service, really passionate about the hobby and very accommodating. Got me and my son kitted out and all set up for the local club. Highly recommend!

As of the 22nd of November Lee Marson of L&L Models has suspended the refund, possibly on reading my review, it made them take down the ability to have Google reviews....good! This is the kind of service you can expect from L&L Models...pure class as always, keep it up lads! Show your true colours 👍🏻

Ordered over £500-worth of stuff from Lee @ L&L over the years, but as soon as I encountered a problem with one order (missing parts) the initally-polite communication quickly stopped without reaching a resolution. Now, emails and social media messages are simply ignored. Looked online to find similar experiences from others, the shop has really fallen from grace. Also have a terrible reputation amongst distributors and other retailers - you have been warned - AVOID!

Not recommended! Never replies to emails, phone number has been blocked, manager are so rude and shopping there is frustrating waste of time and money…

First time using this company and I don't think I'll be using them again. Had to keep chasing them and told I was sent emails (which I wasn't) and made to feel like I wasn't telling the truth

Not a good experience as as first time customer.

That's got to be the worst RC Store online, you pay for express delivery and choose items that shows good stock plus we are based in UK and believe me such shops delivers in time, but landlmodels are just having a laugh, 3 times ordered and 3 times waiting longer and longer, I expect that my last parcel will never shop up, man on the phone are rude and emails not bothered to reply, please somebody shut them down

Well I ordered a bodyshells which had a decal sheet missing and I got in touch and they sent me a full set straight away in the post very pleased with the service and also it's an awesome shop they have everything you need for RC hobbying

I don't normally write reviews etc but this time I have too, terrible company, ordered something with them ,never received and emailed them never reply, I managed to get an answer on messenger only, to ask them why my order didn't arrive and they are not replyingemails, they couldn't even tell me why, at the end I asked for a refund, and they didn't have the guts to even say sorry about their fault seems they don't even care. So stay away from this crappie company they simply don't care and don't bother. Will never ever use them again...

Terrible company ordered a e30 m3 body shell was in stock on website got confirmation email and tracking details saying it was dispatched. Parcel still hasn’t arrived after 12 days so I contacted L and L models.

I was informed that it was on back order and would have to wait. Really then how did you post it if it’s on back order.

Got several snide responses before he sent a screenshot of item saying it was on pre order on website.

Item may be on pre order now but was very much showing in stock at time of order. The fact he believes people will accept that as legitimate proof is hilarious.

Apparently I am going to get a refund sent me a screenshot that he’s altered on paint app on his phone as proof. He only did this after I pushed him on refund and asked why there’s no confirmation email.

I’m just supposed to take his screenshot as proof yeah I won’t hold my breath on that.

The money is not the issue I was building the car as a birthday present. If he simply informed me the shell was not available I would have just got another shell probably bought some paint for it also.

Luckily I’ve got another shell arriving tomorrow from a reputable company it’s not the car he wanted but better than nothing

If I ever get the refund I’ll give it to charity we’re talking about the grand total of £46.98 here.

If you’re having to scam £46.98 out someone to keep going things must be pretty desperate that is actually pathetic.

Look at the google reviews he’s done this exact same thing to plenty of people a lot of them probably just kids and teenagers wanting to build an rc car.

Terrible company avoid at all cost

I placed a deposit for an RC car in August 2024, scheduled for release in January 2025. When asked to finalise payment in January, I found I couldn’t change the delivery method from pickup to delivery. I emailed and called multiple times to resolve the issue, but no one responded or picked up. Luckily, I paid via PayPal and managed to get my deposit back. Extremely disappointed with their lack of customer support.

Placed a pre-order with L&L. Lee was great, answered the phone when I called for updates and if not he'd call back. Made some changes to some of my order and Lee accommodated without any issues. I received my order on time and it's spot on. Thanks Lee👍👍

Ordered an XJR14 shell and decal set. Upon delivery I noticed there were parts missing that had been clearly listed in the description on there web site. I was told I was wrong even when I sent a screen shot of the listed item on there web site. I decided to obtain the parts elsewhere as I had been waiting a long time for it come back into stock.
Wish I had sent it back!!! After spraying the shell I went to apply the decals (which are an additional cost) and noticed how bad they were. They are more a less transparent with no clear colour, atrocious quality. The white in all the decals is non existent, very very poor quality

The body shells are poor quality massive mold line's dents and inaccurate wheel base. Also my son ordered a can of paint from them and he received no paint and no reply buy from this company at your own risk

Lucky it was only a small part but seems to be the same story as everyone else. Claimed it was sent and he was chasing it up but a week later royal mail tracking still says there expecting it..... Luckily paid with PayPal and received a refund. Id avoid
