Friendly and efficient staff. The waiting area was a bit tatty with possibly not enough seats. In the end I paid near enough 160 pounds for an exam lasting less than 20 minutes with 10 minutes prep. My expectations were a little bit higher. Still everything else was ok. Equipment was fine, access etc. was fine

Helpful but the test environment in Chiswick was not great. People were sat close together and was too loud - During my test I can hear other candidates taking their test even with headphones on. It was quite distracting.

My experience was really good. The people are nice and helpful. The only thing I can say is that the room was a bit small but apart from that everything was perfect ,

Booking was simple, the test went well. The team was really nice and understood that we could be stressed. The location is close to a car park which is very useful.

At first I was nervous, but as soon as the examiner came online, she eased me off, she was so friendly and made me free. She discussed with me like a friend. The questions were straightforward and easy . It will be difficult for anyone to fail Language Cert test I promise.

I honestly regret choosing LanguageCert for such an important part of my academic future.
I completed the Reading, Listening, and Writing components of my Academic exam on May 7, including the Writing section which requires manual assessment. My Speaking exam was completed on May 12. Because of a strict Master’s application deadline, I repeatedly informed LanguageCert/PeopleCert support through more than 10 emails, escalations, and live support conversations that my results were urgently needed and delays could seriously damage my application process.
What I received instead was one of the most frustrating and operationally dysfunctional support experiences I have ever encountered.
Throughout the process, support repeatedly referenced “24/7/365 support” and claimed my case was being escalated, yet no meaningful transparency, urgency, or operational flexibility was actually provided. Eventually, I was told that the “relevant department” does not operate during weekends — meaning my urgent case would simply remain unresolved while my academic deadline approached.
For a modern computer-based international examination provider operating in 2026, this was honestly shocking.
The most frustrating part is that the organization seemed completely focused on hiding behind the “5 business days” policy while ignoring the real-world consequences candidates may face. Policies are understandable, but after repeated warnings and urgent escalation requests, I expected at least some level of professional flexibility, clear communication, or meaningful intervention. Instead, I experienced silence, contradictory responses, generic template replies, and constant uncertainty.
At one point, I was even advised to forward an explanatory email from PeopleCert to my university so they might “grant an extension.” I contacted the university directly, and they did NOT agree to modify or extend their admissions process based on such an email. This made it painfully clear that the support team fundamentally did not understand the seriousness and competitiveness of real academic admissions procedures.
Quite honestly, even institutions in developing countries often operate with more responsiveness, transparency, and flexibility than what I experienced here.
This experience completely destroyed my confidence in the professionalism, credibility, and operational standards publicly promoted by LanguageCert/PeopleCert.
I strongly encourage future candidates — especially students applying for universities with strict deadlines — to think very carefully before depending on this system for time-sensitive academic plans.

At the beginning of the session, there were around 10–15 people in the same room taking their online exams at the same time, each speaking with an assessor or another person on different systems. This created a lot of background noise and was very distracting. In my opinion, when attending an online exam or assessment, the environment should be quiet and controlled, rather than having multiple people speaking at the same time.
In addition, my system initially had technical issues, and I had to change seats several times, which was quite disruptive.
Overall, I feel that the conditions were not appropriate or in line with what I would expect for a properly organised and standardised examination, especially considering the cost and expectations. The level of noise and the fact that so many candidates were speaking simultaneously made it very difficult to concentrate and was quite frustrating.
