I purchased the “Vintage Blue Glass & Pearl Drop Earrings” for €30.99 based on the photographs and description shown on Lapua Boutique’s website.
The earrings I received were completely different from those advertised. The colour, finish, materials and overall quality did not match the product shown on the website. The item received appeared to be made of very low-quality plastic and bore very little resemblance to the advertised earrings.
I contacted customer service and provided comparison photographs. The company later confirmed that the item I received was indeed the correct one based on their current stock and only offered either an exchange for another product or a 25% partial refund.
As I did not accept these options, I opened a PayPal dispute under “Item Significantly Not As Described”. After reviewing the evidence provided, PayPal ruled in my favour and issued a full refund of €30.99.
Overall, this was a very disappointing experience and I will not be purchasing from this store again.
Update: After the seller only offered an exchange or a 25% refund, I opened a PayPal dispute. PayPal reviewed the evidence and ruled in my favour, issuing a full refund of €30.99.
