Terrible customer service and blame…

Terrible customer service and blame shifting.

I had an electrician come to my property to fix my plug socket, then the electrician accused me to my developer, stating that I had removed the plug socket, which could not be proved as it was false!

As a result, the developer is refusing to fix the electrician's shoddy piece of work! Avoid these at all costs and hope the electrician gets fired!

I have used LaserElectrical on a number…

I have used LaserElectrical on a number of occasions for both small and large jobs. Always found them to be on time, friendly and efficient.
Chris in particular is great - very knowledgeable, fast and tidy.
Highly recommend them.

Ask for written quote, they can't be trusted

When I booked the job I was told of the extra cost for the first hour to get to the property [this was the New Plymouth company] the service man done a good job, except he only had 1 power switch and needed 2.I said I could go and pick it up, but said he must, which was 30mins, when we got invoice it was loaded with extras, which they refused to negotiate, a bad experience, don't go there?

Expensive…

Quoted 138 for the first hour over the phone to fit a security light. Guy turns up doesn't have a standard switch on his van so disappears for close to an hour, there's a Hammer Hardware 1 minute away, he must have spent a total of 25 minutes on the property: we get a bill for 300 dollars - and we already bought the light they just fitted it. I complained and they sent me a credit note......as if we'd use them again!

Deeply unprofessional company - avoid at all costs.

Deeply unprofessional company.

We had a faulty dimmer switch in a new build property that we bought. Laser were the electrical contractors, and were asked to send an electrician to take a look. The electrician came and "fixed" the switch by stuffing the ends of the dimmer knobs with electrical tape. Needless to say that "fix" lasted about a day.

When they sent a second electrician he replaced the dimmer modules (which should have been done in the first place) but got quite aggressive when I wanted to test them rather than just signing his job sheet for him - turned out they still weren't working as expected and he told me "I can assure you they are working perfectly, I've tested them myself". Maybe he did test them, but until I see them working as expected I will not be forced to sign that I'm happy with the job. The customer service manager refused to help and I had to go back to the developer to get the issue resolved.

Avoid at all costs. Cowboys.
