Shocking customer services ,purchased a saw from these clowns used it for two hours ,it stopped working, phoned and emailed them asking for an exchange/refund, nope can`t do that ,apparently I have to send it to be `inspected` first by `Makita` which turned out to be a tool repair shop, saw got repaired ,I said I didn`t want the saw back because now it`s a refurb, after a month , got the saw back, let Lawsons know it had arrived, now I have to have the original box, nope haven`t got that, I throw them away funnily enough, now they cant give me the full refund because the saw isn`t in it`s original box, ended up having to keep it otherwise lose money, so my advise is stay well away boys!!

I bought a new unboxed Draper 79899 from Lawson‑HIS for £150 with a 3‑year warranty — fantastic value. The courier missed the delivery date, but Lawson‑HIS kept me fully informed and handled the situation professionally. They’ve even said they’ll use an alternative courier going forward. The saw itself is superb and performs exactly as needed. Highly recommended.

Disgusting! Do not shop here.. had my nail gun delivered and left on the door step by dhl which is obvious by the delivery pictures and parcel was stolen/missing and I went back to them and they have gone against me with dhl and rejected the claim and now I’m £400 down!! Do not shop here go with Powertool mate or ITS much better service I was spoken to like rubbish by steve! Now I’m left without and £400 down!

Ordered a Makita drill. They had the best price online and delivered within 2 days.

Lawson decided to use FedEx to deliver them.
Fexex driver claims they were delivered but also claimed they were left at the side of a security gate protecting 2 entire blocks.
The Sales of Goods Act 1970 clearly states that the law deem this as undelivered UNLESS I had given them a "Safe Place" Which I did NOT , making Lawson HIS in breach of both the sale of goods act 1979 & the consumer protection act.Do NOT deal with this corrupt company

So I’ve made x2 different orders this week. Both of for an ex demo angle grinder. I purchased the first being cautious of it being used and abused. Nope I was completely wrong only thing off was the box.. the actual tool was perfect. So I bought another.
I bought the second about 3:30 and selecting the Saturday postage but didn’t realise that I was past the deadline, however the next day (Saturday) the tool arrived. Think this alone was worth the review.
Would I order again? 100% I’ve added website to my bookmarks.

Advertised 3–4 business day delivery. Mine took over a week — but only because I called twice to remind them I exist. No proactive updates, no clear answers, just repeated excuses and delays. Even after asking to ship ASAP, and cancel the missing part of order, they still took an extra day. Apparently “ASAP” means “whenever we feel like it.” Never again.

Read many reviews on this company before submitting my order for a Einhell cordless mower. My main concern was the 20 working day delivery.
As it was my fears were ungrounded I placed the order on the 10th February and the item arrived on the 25th delivered by FedEx.
I personally would have no problem in recommending this company and if you are going to place a order don’t be put off by the negative reviews.

My first purchase from Lawson HIS and very impressed. I ordered a Fiskars Telescopic Tree Pruner on Monday and it was delivered by DPD Wednesday morning. Delighted with the product, price and speed of service so will definitely be looking at other products they sell. I would definitely recommend them as a company to buy from.

I ordered a Bosch chainsaw on a Monday, and it was delivered exactly 24 hours later by FedEx. I had not paid for a speedy delivery, just standard. Truly excellent service.

Second time I’ve bought through this company and faultless experience. Latest item, a Metabo SBE 650 percussion drill arrived very promptly (between Xmas and New Year too,) and was well packaged. A great price on the drill too; what’s not to like. 5 stars ++

got some email about the new years sale thought i would have a look used to be a good company few years back but had issues with last couple of orders
bout some bit there was some dewalt bags that i put in basket with about 50plus other bits paid via paypal
got email today after they had taken payment there was a mistake on the dewalt pricing they should have been £30 each and not in the sale this has happend before they messed up my last purchase couple of years before due to so called issue on website ..
learnt my lesson deleting my acount blockins/to spam emails you used to be a good company with good customer service but looking on here and google reviews you now less than a 3 star company

I just bought a Bosch Hedge trimmer. My second purchase of quality garden equipment from Lawson's in recent years.. Both times I found what I wanted at a reasonable price, ex stock delivery. I ordered in the afternoon before 3pm and DPD delivered before 2pm the next day , 500 miles away. Yep, top company to deal with. Highly recommended. Thank you.

I phoned them about a pair of Buckbootz rigger boots, they didn't have stock of the size required. I was told that they would be available in 2 - 3 days. I received a call 2 days later saying they were in, please come in and try them, at no stage was I requested to pay for them, as it happened, they fitted and are rather nice so happily paid the very friendly people and left happy.
I will return and would highly recommend for warm and friendly service. Thank you.

Nice easy to use website and next day delivery on a Saturday as well. Really pleased with the service and I’m sure the product will be fine as well. I will definitely use again.

I wanted to buy a benchdrill as i make a lot of model planes from scratch.
I had already returned a different model Drill to my local Hardware store as it had a faulty base ,so when i was looking to buy another Bench Drill I came across this particular one that was cheep . but having 4-5 star ratings.
So i went on Line and saw that Lawson was selling it at a good price.
To play safe i phoned them to make sure if there were any problems that i could return the item to them and get reinbursed .
I recieved a polite reply reasuring me that it was the case .
So i ordered it and recieved it on the stated date and time , built & tested it and its a very good Bench drill.
i,m really pleased .

Terrible customer service this company will rather be rude obnoxious then help a customer with a disability they do not believe in the disability at 2010 to make Reese adjustments they would rather be rude and ignorant it's amazing company still at this way in these days shame on you

The Lawson HIS website said the machine I wanted was in stock & would be delivered on a certain day.
I ordered it.
I then got a confirmation email of my order.
I then got an email saying it had been dispatched & at this stage the money was taken from my account. It was delivered on the day they said it would be.

This is the way a business should be run.
FFX take notice. FFX twice pretended that the same item was in stock when it wasn’t & immediately charged me for it both times with no intention of complying with their promised delivery times as they didn’t have the item in stock. That company is toxic & dishonest. See my previous reveiws.

I read the negative reviews after buying Fri 07.30, they are shut sat/sun I emailed over the weekend got reply at 11.30 mon & phoned at 08.26 mon and was assured my item would be posted that day mon for overnight shipping and I would receive it Tues.. I got my item 12.30 Tues.
I recon that’s about as good as it gets!!! so order with confidences
Defo will be buying again. 👍
