Do not trust this company. They have since changed their name to Property Insulation Limited with the same Directors and registered address in Ashton-under-lyne.
They were quick to take my deposit of £1925.00 for cavity wall insulation but it was a scam. Excuse after excuse about getting my deposit back, I have given them the benefit of doubt but it’s been over 12 months of waiting. They are so convincing with their excuses but the money has still not been returned. AVOID both these companies.

Terrible terrible company. The worst I've ever dealt with. I have a County Court Judgment against them for taking £2,125 off me and not doing the job which was to re-erect my solar panels which had been temporarily taken down in order for a roof job to be done. I needed the solar panels put back up while the scaffolding was still up but I was constantly told Fred Thistle "someone would call me back and sort it out". I was told people were celebrating birthdays or a mysterious "allocations dept" were dealing with it and all sorts of lame excuses and of course nothing was ever done and i had to pay another company to come in and do the job. The stress involved dealing with this company was awful. Do not go near them.

March 2023 done a disastrous job on insulation of my house walls .
Was promised a partial refund / compensation of £2000 which didn’t happen ,processed again several times ,always excuses of why this didn’t happen promised this within 28 days, ,it has flashed up on our system, payroll error etc . Neighbours also promised M&S vouchers ,didn’t happen .Excuse after excuse .
Filed a court claim against them in July 2023 admitted claim ,but still no payment appeared.
They appear to not have a direct address or phone number ,making it difficult to track down .Contractors are used to do work from all over the country.
Next step is bailiffs possibly,but to where as only address is what’s on invoice which appears to be a unit on an industrial estate ! This company is just so evasive making it impossible to get a resolution. Scumbags of a company,😡 I hate them for what they have done to myself /property. Thieves the lot of them , never intended to refund / compensate.

8th December update of

Chased via emails and telephone calls monthly since September, and today see they’ve responded to trust pilot review in October saying I’ve never dealt with them and it’s wrong company, this is total rubbish and they need to be closed down and directors need to be imprisoned!

The issue with them was that they failed to turn up twice to install 30cm of loft insulation, but I had paid £301.70 as upfront 35% deposit! After a 2nd no show, and my abortive journeys the offered refund and cancellation which I accepted and I was then told monies will be returned within 28 days, but now almost 5 months I’m still not refunded. A total farce! Don’t deal with them unless you want to be taken for an unwanted roller coaster ride!!

Please direct your complaint at the correct company. You have never placed order with Lead Leaders Ltd; now Property Insulation Ltd. Damaged caused to my company by yours and others complaints has resulted in my having to seriously consider cease trading.
But, here’s their request to me…NB note their details!

I have paid a deposit of £3558.00 to account ending 161 lead leader ltd. I have receipt to prove this and was quoted this by Jamie as he used Asgoft name and this is a chinese company. However he says that we manage Lead leaders ltd and the money was confirmed that lead leaders ltd have received this. I have filed a lawsuit against this company and I have already requested CCJ against them which will be granted soon by the justice. I dnt need anything from them apart from my refund for deposit paid. I dnt want any work done by them as I believe they can't do any work and their operations team is zero. I advise anyone not to use this company as any positive feedback on trustpilot here are written within the team and not geniune comments. I fell for this and now all what I want is my money 3558.00 + court fees 203.00. I will make sure that I give the court the account number and details as soon as I am asked for it in due course.

On 26th May 2023 a quote by Lead Leaders Ltd was received by email to Mr & Mrs Dove confirming necessary works to be carried out at their address. Lead Leaders Ltd requested the sum of £4,400 to be paid into the account of Lead Leaders Limited that day. The account ending 161. You have confirmed receipt of that money. The quote was received from Lead Leaders Ltd. The payment was requested by Lead leaders Ltd by the end of that day. It was paid. This is the money they expect back.
What ever agreement you have with another party is nothing to do with Mr & Mrs Dove. The money was requested by and paid to Lead Leaders Ltd. It is your duty as a director of Lead Leaders Ltd (NKA Property insulation Ltd- name change on 14th September 2023) to protect all creditors and conduct your business legally. You or your company are liable to repay this sum to Mr & Mrs Dove.
Promises of repayment have been made for repayment have been made by Fred Thistle - whoever he might be by email. But no monies have been received.
I would also inform you that the works suggested by in the quote received from Lead Leaders Ltd were unnecessary and totally exaggerated. The real work required is a fraction of the cost.
At present the sum of £4,576.64 plus interest is due and interest will continue at the rate of £0.96 per day from today.
This has been reported to the trading standards office and they have been in contact with you.
Mr & Mrs Dove have given me permission for all contact to be made through me.

You have taken money from an aged couple who are vulnerable and they expect it back.

I bought a Pest control service on May 23 and the guy rescheduled the appointment 3 times In the end I canceled the service by calling LLHL and they promised the refund to process in 28 days. Still waiting for 238.80. I am looking to file a Country court case as well. My friend had a similar issue with another provider and got 3 times the money in compensation.

What a sham. Avoid at all costs.
I had a leaking roof . Someone came round did the assessment and quoted me £5000 for a small repair . Seemed excessive especially as scaffolding was already in situ. Paid a hefty 50% deposit. On the day they rang to cancel. Said they had been sent wrong materials. I knew then they were a joke. They offered my £100 in m&s vouchers which they never sent. Someone eventually came and made the leak worse and then they continued to rearrange and cancel l for 6 months. The director even rang to apologise and gave me £500 for my stress and then continued their cycle of cancellations and lame excuses. Luckily I had paid by credit card and got all my money back . Never again. NB The above complaint refers to a company called lead leaders Home Improvements which appear to be using the same logo as lead leaders installation. Trouble is according to company house all three companies have the same director so maybe they are the best place to stop any confusion

Paid a substantial deposit for solar panel installation. Waited and waited while two install dates were cancelled. Eventually I was told they could not get contractors and would have to cancel and refund my deposit. SOME HOPES. Repeated assurances that my deposit would be refunded but nothing but excuses. Next stop County Court.

Nothing but scammers. They take money from hard working families like mine by pretending to be tradesmen. Don't know how you sleep at night. If you go with this lot, be ready to fill a small claims court papers out!

Had a solar installation managed by the company. Did a great job, went above and beyond to ensure that I and my family were happy with the install.

Desperate for your business, take your money and then substandard & unprofessional service and follow up.

Having required pest control (another one of their arms apparently), a chap called which was great, knowledgable if not a little scaremongering of where the pests may be in the home. I was asked to pay in advance for the service which guaranteed to eradicate all vermin as long as we followed the steps.
Investigator arrived, looked around and confirmed the one location took numerous photos, said their
"might be more spaces they could be" and said we would recipient a full report.
We received a four line email with no specifics, with photos of someone else home, and nothing more for nearly a week even after following up twice.
So far we have paid out over £230 for two vermin traps and nothing more.
Avoid at all costs.

After paying £2500.00 as a deposit in December 22 for work to be carried out on 7th February 23 up until the 6th February 23 the contracting company have had no commutation with myself only me calling them asking for a call back.
16.00hrs 6th February 23 it would seem they need to cancel this appointment tomorrow.
I have keep this simple due to the true words I wish to put on here regarding the way the whole thing has been handled but it would be rude/distasteful and operate the same level of professionalism this company has shown.
I am now concerned that I have been told to wait 28 days for my £2500.00 deposit back after looking into the professional ?? company Lead Leaders appointed to complete my insulation.
As a company who allegedly vets your contractors I feel the blame lies at your feet and therefore the very poor rating it deserves I pass to yourselves.
I hope that I never ever come across a company like this again feeling the way I do wanting me to put the real words how I feel.


Very very disillusioned.

Not quite sure how this has nothing to do with Steve just to be sure I will post the headed/money stolen/paperwork but my statement will stay as it is as I have no respect for the company with this name
