Irresponsible in every possible way STAY AWAY

I Bought from them with next day delivery, their product was at least 15 pounds more expensive but I still went with them just for the next day delivery since I needed the product urgently.
Not only I didn't get my product the next day, Now I am suppose to wait a WEEK!!! In the meantime these people have my money and If I need to go and buy it somewhere else it I need to fork more money while I wait for them to return my money.

STAY ABSOLUTELY AWAY FROM THEM.

Bought in October 2024

Bought in October 2024, sat in box till summer 2025, it didn’t work right, eventually put error on screen, contacted company, went through their process only to be blamed myself!!! Ridiculous and insulting I’ve been member of eBay 22years after just 30 days they can’t do anything either! My hands are tied and that’s not fair! Seems sellers can do what they want even with in date warranty. Don’t use either company’s is my advice!!!!

Be Wary

Be very wary of warranty promises from this company. I bought two batten lights for my garage earlier this year. I was comforted by the listing that I had bought the right light for the job. It said this:-

“Popular in many installations due to their versatility and fantastic light output these fittings can be used in all rooms around your house as well as the garage or out house.”

Note the last two locations. A few months later, one of the lights failed. No problem, there’s a 3year warranty and it’s a responsible company. Isn’t it? Based on a photograph I submitted, this was their reply.

“Our assessment indicates that the failure of the light fixture is due to the following conditions:

“Environmental Exposure: The fixture is installed in an environment that exposes it to dust, spider webs, and other contaminants. The light is intended for indoor use in relatively clean environments.”

So, if you’re buying a batten light for your “garage or out house” be sure to dust thoroughly and eradicate all spiders. In fact, don’t buy it for garages or outhouses despite the company’s recommendation.

In my view, a complete load of ridiculous tosh simply to avoid honouring their guarantee promises.

The final insult lies in the company’s profile claims:-

“There are no hidden secrets, no extra costs and no untold conditions.”

Apart from no mention of spiders and dust!

Ordered a space heater from LED First…

Ordered a space heater from LED First Choice and, through no fault of their own, there was a problem with the delivery. Contacted them and this was sorted immediately. Heater fit very neatly and ideal for our purpose. Customer service from this company totally excellent and deserves extra stars !! Would highly recommend them.

Very poor communication and refusal to…

Very poor communication and refusal to acknowledge their fault resulting in unnecessary costs to the customer
I purchased a dehumidifier from this company via the Onbuy website.
I then proceeded to cancel my transaction within 30 minutes of purchasing by sending an email directly to LedFirstChoice and then to Onbuy.
The following day I received a text to say my item is being prepared for dispatch (They hadn't checked their messages) I spent the entire day calling, leaving messages, emailing to try and prevent them from sending the item to me.
It was only after I'd received a text to say the item had been dispatched that I then had a response from Ledfirstchoice to say 'Your item has aready been processed and dispatched so we cannot cancel the order'.
I had the hassle of posting the item back to them and the cost to do so. They refused to understand it was their initial lack of communication which caused the situation and resulted in extra stress and costs. TERRIBLE company to buy from. AVOID

Please read before purchasing anything

I ordered a dehumidifier via Amazon, when it arrived the box was undamaged, I started to open the box when my Husband came into the room and said that's far to small for the room, I taped the box up and took photos and arrange to send it back. This was all on the same day. This items was £144.00, LED only refunded me £80.??
Amazon chased this short fall on the refund up for me and now LED are saying it came back scratched, damaged, not working and the box was damaged. I have photos of the box being delivered, this did not look damaged, nor did the company question or list the damage box on receipt. So the company took £60 off the refund!
Strange, if was so badly damaged they did not list it when accepting delivery.
They said I returned it because I did not like it, untrue, It was to small for the room.
The statement they have emailed is totally untrue. This company may be ok to purchase a lightbulb, but be warned anything with a higher value,in my experience is risky!

Poor communication

Update: on 29 May 2024, they asked for further information. It only took them FOUR YEARS!!!

I would not normally have posted a review as my concern was blatant mis-selling of a product (by the manufacturer) on their website. However when I emailed LED First Choice to express my concerns, they did not respond. Also, there was no notification of delivery even though they claim to provide shipping details. Fortunately I was in when they delivered.

Shocking customer service failure

Failed to ship me the item which was allegedly in stock on the web site. Failed to answer the advertised phone number. Eventually apologised by email for non-delivery but continued to totally ignore my my request for a refund. Had to force a refund from them via a PayPal claim. Clearly a company not to be trusted.

UPDATE: May 2024 - now these guys are trying to get my accurate and truthful review taken down. Tough luck - you should not have let me down in 2020.
