I had a technical issue
I had a technical issue, where I sent some VTC. RIP O thought as, the ledger VTC client I chose to send to was invalid address as far as the Ledger client was concerned, every time I looked at In Coin Browser, the coins where an invalid transaction and stuck in limbo, as an outgoing transaction had been completed, and yet my 300 VTC coins could be seen via the Coin transaction as sent address showing the Coins still on the ledger source address . Sent support ticket for help and got an exact fix process to follow, which when completed, the coins where sitting back in my Ledger wallet valid waiting to do whatever again. Choose a more careful target address. Awesome support, I was stuck without a paddle and no lifeguard, and they resolved the ticket with some good advice which when followed,, resolved issued completely, and got me the coins back in control.
They have the worst customer service…
They have the worst customer service ever. I have ordered and bought ledger for my company's billing address but these people issued invoice for my personal address. When I wanted to correct is I have written email to them with y order screenshot and my invoice. They all the time answer they can't change billing address but I have on the screenshot that I put my company address. Unfortunately the case was never resolved. I warn you if you have to order any unit from them for your company never do it. They won't issue correct invoice for you, maybe they just want to cheat their tax office I have no idea. Stay away with companies orders.
The unit I got is very nice but I have a problem because I paid from my LTD company card and never got correct invoice even my billing address is correct company address!!!!

The support provided when I had an issue was outstanding. I was able to address my issue and get back running after just a few emails back and forth. The support person was very skilled and patient. I have nothing but positive comments to say about ledger and their products.
DISASTROUS Unfortunately this company…
DISASTROUS Unfortunately this company has failed their thousands of customers by letting our private data like phone number, address, full name and surname be leaked to criminals. Never trust them, they have failed us over and over again. My details were included in 3 data leaks over the years...
Do not trust Ledger!
If you have money to lose, just trust Ledger with your personal data and funds. They have been hacked more than once and lost their clients personal information like name, home address, e-mail address and phone number. So if you want you personal data on the dark web, if you want to receive weekly death threats with your name and address or if you just have money to throw away, just buy one of their great products. Thanks a lot, Ledger!
DO NOT BUY!!!
Do not buy a ledger, they have allowed all of my details including my address to be leaked. I constantly get scam emails and texts. Worst thing i have ever bought.
Data breach caused by Ledger
Since couple of months I am receiving phishing Emails, fake SMS and also threats by phone, all due to the data breach that happened with the hack of the Marketing DB at Ledger. As all my data got leaked I need to change my phone and email address and the whole world has now my address and knows that I am owner of crypto's. Who is going to protect me and my family? Now I am getting notifications by Coinbase and Kraken that my data have been compromised.
Leaked at least 272,000 users' detailed information
A security company who shared (at least) my full name, postal address and phone number with the internet.
No compensation, just an email admitting to it several months later and after the Phishing tsunami had begun.
Wish I had saved a couple of hundred pounds in devices and left the little crypto I have on an exchange.
Leaked all my info
Regardless of how good the wallet itself is, I can't recommend anyone buy this product due to the data breach. I have had non stop phishing emails since. Did I find out from Ledger about the breach - no, I found out on Twitter. Even if they did email me now, I would have no idea whether it was from them or another convincing phishing email. What good is it storing your crypto on a hardware wallet - if the internet now knows you have some along with your name, physical address, email address and phone number. Apart from a twitter thread, I cannot see any active damage control from Ledger to now protect/advise these customers whose information is now all over the internet. It is unbelievable, i dread to think how many people will fall prey to these scams, when they might have been safer leaving it on a exchange.
Basically they are leveraging your…
Basically they are leveraging your precious time to benefit their profits by creating inconveniences. i.e. Complaints department ==>> 200 miles that way ==>
No telephone number!
Avoid and use a differnet ledger.
their customer service is horrific!!
Here is what happened to me...
1 - bought a 3 pack of nanoS ledgers by mistake
2 - requested a refund and posted them to their French address
3 - i purchased one nano S
4 - the single nano S arrived and is working fine
5 - 2 weeks pass so i email to chase up the refund on the original 3 pack nano s at £128
6 - within 10 mins i get an automated email saying a refund has just been processed and will take two weeks for GBP 41.64 and NOT £128 to arrive.
so now i have admin and my time to waste chasing this up. they are intentionally not giving refunds unless you chase them and complain.
Good product... poor service but improving
I've purchased 3 Ledger Nano X an am happy with the device itself however I ordered one for a family member and I noticed the snipping address did not match the address i ordered it to so I tried to contact Ledger before DHL shipped and they never responded. Additionally I had a questions about using my EOS with my Ledger and they never responded. We're gong on two weeks now and this is rather disappointing as a paying customer.
Frankly, had i know this before, I wouldn't have bout three of their Nano X hardware wallets, I'd rather support a company which supports it's customers.
***UPDATE 6 MAY 2021***
Rating changed from 2-4 stars. My previous experience has been documented above however recently i received excellent customer service from Aisen on a tech issue. The attention to detail in the troubleshooting process and ultimate resolution of the problem has redeemed my opinion of Ledger and I will continue to use their products.Cuppost is very slow to reach, hopefully this can be improved upon, but once you do reach an agent the issue can be resolved.
Stucked Stratis
Using ledger for many years, mostly it works, but when there are troubles it's kinda impossible to solve them. I've contacted support more than a week ago about not able to send stratis to other address, they still did not reply. Stratis was forked few days ago and it's a possibility that my coins will be gone because of ledger.
Sign message on cripto address
I had an issue in signing message on my Ledger, I approached Ledger Support and they came back in 2 days with the correct answer. Problem solved! Excellent and timely support!
Ledger must surely be the WORST bunch…
Ledger must surely be the WORST bunch of -ankers I've ever had to deal with - and 'ankers is exactly what they are.
The person suspected of being the company owner who calls himself LEDGER@LEDGER on Twitter claimed he would "Hurry-on" my problem (my problem is that Ledger DOESN'T provide drivers for Linux nor Android) if I address my oproblem of total absence of drivers).
Soon after, on twitter, he DENIED having anything to do with Ledger - despite that he calls himself LEDGER@LEDGER !!
Ledgers company registration gives an address of Viierzon in France.
It isn't!
It seems that it operates out of a slum area of Paris.
NOBODY IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD BUY A LEDGER WALLET!
MY ADVICE IS TO STEER CLEAR OF LEDGER
Customer Service is pathetic
Customer Service is pathetic, I have a genuine security vulnerability with my Nano X and they've done nothing to sort it out, I've emailed on 5 separate occasions with only having one response.
DO NOT buy a Nano X. There is a security vulnerability where someone can inject a hostile address on your device causing you to loose your funds. Their user experience when sending to an address you've never heard of or sent to before is very poor.
They also don't secure your information correctly and have been part of a big data breach on their marketing site which has led to me receiving phishing emails that have led me to use my Ledger on a hostile site and loose my funds. AVOID these guys, they don't answer your emails and they don't provide phone support.
I'm really sorry I purchased this
I'm really sorry I purchased this. As many others have said if you need Customer Service... forget it!!
I've been trying to send XRP from my Ledger to Exodus. sounds pretty simple, right?? It is until I get to the address verification screen, the send to address is not correct, it isn't what I put into the software.
It's now been 2 weeks back and forth with customer service and all I receive is canned responses sending me back to their FAQ. I finally figured out that the address in the verification screen that pops up when sending is actually the receive address on the device. At least it's not some malware or scammer, the XRP would just be sent back to itself?? Makes no sense??
I cannot believe that I can't get help with this. I now need to figure out how to get my XRP off of the device.
What a headache... I've ordered a Trezor! Good Luck!!
Worst customer support ever
Worst customer support ever. They failed to deliver my Ledger to my address and said they could not do anything unless the items was returned.
Terrible attitude of the staff, they just do not care but they are happy to take your cash.
There has been overwhelming praise from …
There has been overwhelming praise from media, but I find this product untrustable. There are moments that I couldn't open the apps, couldn't access the currencies when I need to. I also mistakenly sent Litecoin to Bitcoin address, because Ledger uses the same chrome apps for both currencies. The account appears to be zero. I asked for help on their customer service, only got a useless response a month later, and it's a completely useless standard answer. When I asked again, I only get machine auto-generated response. Their customer support is just non existent. I will return this product. Don't trust the media, the comments. If you accidentally lost your money, no one is going to help you.
