It doesn't let you transfer money.
I created money pot for a farewell event, and I need the money but it doesn't allow me to transfer!
I filled in bank details and submitted, and then it never progresses forward and just shows 'error page'.
I have been trying to transfer since last week and nothing has been fixed.
I also contacted customer service but they don't reply... I'm still waiting. No phone contact is available.
REALLY FRUSTRATING... If anyone from Leetchi reads this please sort this out, please ...

I got a reply from customer service team after like 5 days and got money transferred.

The worst experience! They don’t even reply back to mails and calls! Thieves! You should be ashamed of yourselves!

Just like everyone else here I also can't transfer the money to my account - a birthday gift from my colleagues, such a hassle, keep getting error page, can't get in touch with them. What a shambles. I wouldn't recommend, how embarrassing to give a gift that they can't collect. Funny how collecting the money is the part that is malfunctioning.

Like many others having a real issue transferring the money pot to buy a colleague a gift before they leave. Have tried to contact Leetchi via email and facebook numerous times as can’t find a phone contact and not heard anything back!
Has anyone managed to find a way to resolve this??
Never had such bad customer service from a company that holds a customers money!!!

Terrible service. No one answers the phone and impossible to book a cal via their website. I am still waiting for the money they refuse the transfer every time I try... do not use it!

During the pandemic, it is impossible to collect money for leaving staff so I used Leetchi and they are Thieves! Not only they take 4% (and you only know that at the end as they advertised it as a free service) but also it is impossible to retrieve the money. It goes conveniently to an error page... I am literally so fed up after having had to work online and adapt - Leetchi is stealing from honest people who try to adjust to such a difficult situation.
Sort this out ASAP.

Created an account and money pot without a problem. Friends added money into the shared pot without a problem.

I attempted to login and could not, website kept returning an error. Thinking this was me, I reset my password, which failed. After multiple attempts to login, each one failing with the same error shown, I emailed Leetchi for help. They have not answered my emails.

I have called their offices more than once, automated answer machine says they are busy and disconnects.

I need the money to give to the individual, which people paid into and I now have to find the money myself as it looks like I have stolen it.

Leetchi.com stand up and get the issue fixed. Reply to emails ASAP. My next step is to call my bank and log fraudulent activity.

The good reviews are all fake, written by the company themselves, you can tell, there’s a pattern. Have a look at the bad reviews!

Please avoid if possible. I will NEVER use them again!!! I have created a collection for my colleague's birthday which is next Monday and I have been trying to get in touch with Leetchi for two weeks now. They want you to confirm your identity with a copy of a passport but what if someone does not have a valid one? There is no option for a different type of identity document and they don't tell you that until later. Besides, the whole website is malfunctioning! I am not sure what I should do with my friend's collection now and my e-mails to their helpdesk are simply being ignored! I wish I read all those comments earlier as I would never use this service. Any prospective users - you have been warned!

Completely agree with all the above. Setting up is really simple but accessing the money is basically impossible. Password doesn't work - password reset doesn't work. No communication from the bogus help desk email and the only response I have found is the cut and paste response on this site. It should not be this easy for the regulators to allow companies to rob people in this way.

I just set up a pot and it should be able to be added to internationally. I am based in Europe but two friends in the US have said they tried and it did not work. WHY? Can you explain? Thank you

Organised a pot quite easily through Leetchi, but now it has come time to withdraw those funds there is an error on the password which is stopping me doing so.

To add to the issue, the helpline number is never answered (they don't even put you in a queue, the call just ends), and they don't respond to emails.

At this point, I have no idea how I'm going to retrieve the money...

Money has been stuck for 2 months now, "waiting transfer". Nobody answering the telephone nor the several different email addresses that I have tried, and numerous emails I have sent... It is an embarassment to them, and to me as the organiser of the money pot and responsible for buying gifts for a friend's baby's birth. Hopeless. Leetchi, PLEASE answer my emails!

So disappointed for the first time using your service.
It’s been a week that the service client doesn’t respond any my email and your hotline number doesn’t work as well. Now how can I get money from my account? I have tried so many time with my id and passport but it doesn’t match

Why in the world do I need to provide my ID details IF I am spending less than £200 and not planning to do a transfer? I Just want to be able to give the link to the beneficiary so he can get his amazon voucher... ridiculous that there is no telephone number to contact and zero explanation as to what to do next.. I really regret having come across this website to begin.. what a mistake!!

I used Leetchi for collecting Birthday money for a friend.
* Identity service approval took so long (+2 days) and emails didn't even come when approvals happended. I received emails days after approval.
* Money pot can't be used for vouchers, even with Leetchi's partners. Also, it is super frustating when using their website.
* I ended up transfered the money to myself and went buying a voucher in another website, losing 4% of the money to Leetchi. Sad!

I give one star because I can't give zero stars.

Please never ever use this website if you are raising funds for an organization or someone, because first, they would block your money and never send to you, and then, their data would probably leak and they won't reply when you ask for compensation because your private data such as GPS position, date of birthday, name and surname and other personal data will leak and you will risk to be targeted by hackers.

In fact on April it happened that the data of us users leaked, and they only told us on May. Of course they took 4 whole days to fix the issue, while of course someone tried to enter in my Gmail account and I had emotional distress. I asked them for a compensation, saying that I would sue them to the relevant authorities if they did not agree to compensate me and they just did not reply for more than 3 weeks to my 3 emails and one message on Linkedin to Alix Poulet. But sadly, many people are facing the same problem especially when asking for the money of their money pots. I hope they will consider my complaint and agree to the compensation but it looks like I am waiting ages to get even just a reply.

Please stay away from these thieves and scammers!

I’m having the same problem as Katherine, I went to log in to my account and they said my password had expired, after several attempts to set up a new password, it said I was locked out. So I password reset, that works but then comes back as error. Same again error. I try the next day, same problem again. Pulling my hair out at this point.

It’s been over a week now and no response from leetchi. I get they might be busy if there is a technical error but I have had no acknowledgement of my email. I had to read on here their response to Katherine to get any step closer to understanding why I can’t access my account.
I have a lot of money in my pot. First time user. For a hen party. I need a response or something to restore my faith. If I don’t hear something soon I’ll be seeking legal advice. Technical error or not, it’s not acceptable to have zero response!

I signed up - easy. Added my contribution to the money pot easy. Then I had a problem with my password. Assumed I had forgotten it. Tried to reset - now I am stuck in a loop where it will not let me back in. I am using Mozilla Firefox - is that the reason? I've tried other browsers, but unless they respond to my queries, no progress. Other people seem to have had the same issue in reviews below.

Fortunately there is only my contribution in the pot at the moment, and not that of everyone else. I am shocked at how bad this website is and much of the support options are in French. No option for log in / password reset problems. At a time of COVID-19 lockdown, this is an opportunity for services like this to shine. Come on Leetchi - sort this out.
Please avoid this site until the issues with password reset is resolved.
