impossible to contact

I have been trying to make contact since Jan 4 regarding validation of ID which appears stuck. No one responds to the help requests that are sent in.
It seems if everything works first time it’s great BUT if there is an issue no one responds and your money is held hostage.

Thank you for getting back to me after a long wait.
As instructed by the person from customer relations we sent to the indicated email address the ID card that was requested.
The person got an email that you've received the ID and we can proceed with the transfer.
I did that and I received the same message as before saying the ID (which was sent to you) was missing.
Could you please check on your side and let me retrieve my money?

Disappeared with my money

UPDATE2: they finally reached out today and unblocked my account. Increasing to 2 starts since the problem got solved.

UPDATE1: the company reached out asking for more information 2 weeks ago, I provided the information and they disappeared again...

A money pot was gifted to me in Oct/2021 but it still blocked due to document authentication. I emailed the company 2 times already and they didn't care to answer (note that I'm writing this in Jan/2022, i.e. almost 3 months without an answer). Talking to the person who organized the money pot, he had the same issue and delayed delivering it to me by 1 month.

Money blocked

Despite several mail, phone calls (nobody can never be reached) and a 1st review on Trustpilot, I'm still waiting for my profile to be validated to be able to get the money back.
I had to use my own money to finalize my projet which is a shame, I need to be contacted quickly to find a solution to that matter !!

Money blocked - Waiting for ID verification

I have received a money pot from my colleagues as a leaving present and I can't access the money because my ID has not been verified!! No help from support.. Nothing. My professional email address will be disactivated and I will not be able to access my money pot - This is a real joke!

Unable to verify account and no response from support

I have been trying to verify my account for 2 weeks and have sent 4/5 messages to their support with no response whatsoever.
My colleague from work is leaving today but we cannot pass the leetchi to her because of the unverified account.
Would say bad support but none was given.

I have used Leetchi for the birthday of…

I have used Leetchi for the birthday of q friend. I requested the money to be transferred, and despite the fact the confirmatiob message said that the money should be in my account within 48 hours, i have still bot received it. It has been 10 days. I have contacted their client support, help, contact. No answers to my emails. This money is due and i have absolutely no feedback o n what is going on. Very disappointed snd worried.

Unable to verify account - no help at all

It's been more than a month that I cannot verify my account. I have uploaded my ID and never received any reaction or advice about next steps. This is a disaster! The customer service simply does not reply to my requests for help. The telephone number available online does not work. Disgraceful!

I really hope it's not a scam.

Ok, I really hope it's not a scam. The site doesn't allow the profile verification despite the documentation being provided, the contact form doesn't work and the support doesn't answer by email. I'm collecting a money pot for a funeral..for f<*k sake.
shame on you.

EDIT: still no verification after 5 days. The money pot is closed and the money not accessible despite having provided the needed ID document.

EDIT: after 2 emails sent to the customer care still validation is pending.

I do not recommend using Leetchi…

I do not recommend using Leetchi because the probability is that you won't get the service expected!
I do not recommend using Leetchi because their system has software glitches, and the help desk is not responsive. It might be easy to create a money pot and put money in, but the rest feels like a nightmare. The probability is that you won't get the service expected.

To put things in context there is an association of Leetchi clients in France that hired legal services and complained gainst Leetchi delays. Find it: action-judiciaire-cagnotte-en-ligne-leetchi-plainte-pour-non-respect-des-delais-de-versement-aux-beneficiaires-n86215/

I have a money pot to help me, created by my friends and I still can’t have access to the money after 2 weeks.

Beginning of the problems:
I registered my ID documents as part of the verification process. The documents have been pending verification for 2 weeks now. The system keeps asking for my ID, but I cannot upload them because it displays what I already did (documents uploaded)—the problem seems like a software snag. The money pot has ended and I can not transfer the money because my ID is still pending verification.

Help centre issues:
I contacted the Help centre 5 times. The protocol is not professional because I do not have an acknowledgement of my contact when I write to them, nor a ticket number. One gets the sense that they are not there.

Leetchi please understand that - Some of the money pots ARE VERY URGENT!!!! You can not promise and leave things halfway. Look at all the complaints here.

I will continue to complain until I get a response back from Leetchi!

Account blocked without notice!

After sending the money to my friend's bank account, my account has been blocked without any notification from Leetchi and the money has not yet arrived.
This is unacceptable.

Leetchi is a con artist

Leetchi is a conartist, a scam, thieves!
For 3 whole months I am waiting for my money!
They are trying to steal 970 euros from me for a charity cause, how dare they! They reject the emptying of the money pot for NO REASON!!
NEVER USE THEIR SERVICES!
I demand my 970 euros IMMEDIATELY, TODAY or I am opening a court case with disgusting LEETCHI!!!!!!!!!

Ongoing Issues with Leetchi

So I have been trying to get funds released for over 2 weeks, and still no luck. I have had 3 responses from customer services asking for information already provided not answering my question or helping to solve my issue. I have also had a response to my previous review - but without success. Disgraceful.

Terrible

Terrible. They use every excuse they can think of not to transfer your money.

I set up an account to collect contributions for a gift for a colleague.

First they asked for my ID to verify my identity, reasonable enough.

After having this they then refused two attempts to transfer the money collected. They finally informed me they needed verification of my bank details before they transferred. Annoying that they hadn't clarified this earlier but fine.

Now they are asking ME to contact one of the contributors and ask him to provide me with a copy of his ID documents.

I find this very strange and completely unacceptable, why ask me for the ID of one randomly selected contributor?

And if they need ID documents from contributors why not ask for them directly from the contributor at the point they make the donation? I'm now being asked to contact someone and ask them for their personal documentation on behalf of Leetchi, I'm sure this isn't very good data security. I wouldn't like to pas my ID documents to my colleagues, in fact I'm pretty sure it would be a GDPR violation.

I've been in touch with their customer services department (by email, the phone number they provide doesn't work) but they haven't answered my questions and have now stopped responding to me. They still have the money.

This is not only very frustrating, it feels like unethical delay tactics to hold on to the money.

Leetchi will not release the funds for an ALS patient and they will not give people the their donations back!

My father was diagnosed with ALS, a very serious disease, so we started a fundraiser for him. More than 200 people donated to help him.

Unfortunately, ALS refuses to release the funds, even though we've sent them all the medical documents and IDs translated (which I wonder if it's even GDPR compliant; ever heard of medical privacy?).

They are deliberately slow in communications and I requested that all people who donated be refunded, since they have no right to keep this money.

Unfortunately, they've decided to scam more than 200 people and a person who suffers from ALS and they won't return the donations. They won't even reply to my numerous emails.

We are now seeking legal action agains this scam.

Decided to create a Birthday money pot for my sons 10th Birthday. Each year he gets lots of little £20-30 toy gifts that he uses for a week and then either breaks or looses. the idea was to create a place where friends and family can contribute towards a long term investment in the form of a good quality Mountain Bike that would take him through his teenage years. I found Leetchi online and created a funding pot.

I followed their instruction on verifying my ID by sending them a passport copy and a copy of my driver licence as well as a bank statement of the account i wish to transfer the funds. This was approved on my Leetchi account!

Since Tuesday 15th December I am trying to withdraw the funds only to be told via e-mail that the transfer remains unsuccessful and that I would be prompted to provide more documentation. Nobody is requestion anything from me. I have had to e-mail chase them multiple times only to receive a request for further documentation.

The bank transfer to a UK account costs me a fee of 4% and will take 48 hours. My sons birthday is in two days and he already knows that we will be going out for him to choose his birthday present. I am now left in a situation where i will have to explain to him that he will not get his present on his birthday. I also have to explain to his family and friends that the money they have paid for his birthday remains locked away.

I am still awaiting feedback ( Now 17th December) on what i need to do to withdraw funds.

I am deeply distraught with this service and i would strongly urge anyone reading this to reconsider using their services.

Should anything change and should Leetchi find a solution to solve this before the 19th December I am prepared to update and amend this review to a degree.

As it stands this has been an embarrasing , stressfull and deeply upsetting experience.

- Update 18th December:
I received an email from Tristan yesterday only to say he was waiting for an update from compliance ( a department included in all the communication so far) it is now 12:03pm and I have not received any further feedback and am still unable to withdraw funds. I am now contacting Trading standards for further advice.

The line you see on your bank statement corresponds to a bank imprint of your card made by our payment provider.
This is not strictly speaking a debit, we have never received a contribution of € 1 from you.
In general, this line does not appear on users' statements, the bank imprint being a fictitious "debit", simply allowing to check the viability of the card.
In all cases, your bank will the statement, within a maximum of 30 days after the date of your contribution.

Leetchi is a big scam

Leetchi is a big scam. Warning : Stay away.

Project started In April and was successful but they refused to transfer the money

They waited until all the money was collected blocked it and then invoke protection of the donors.

They say they've refunded the donors and if donors want to have proof they should contact them directly. NO PROOF THEY REFUNDED.

I cannot access my account anymore nor verify if Leetchi has refunded the donors.
I managed the project, provided my ID but I can't access donors data, to verify who was refunded and who didn't.

I've been emailing them since end April and it's still not resolved. I've emailed them around 20 times so they understand I am not backing down. It's been months now. A disgrace.

All donors are distant friends of friends and relatives, so they trust me and the project as trustworthy.

I am not the scammer Leethi are!

Reporting them is very important.

Never again. Cannot get money back.

Never again. After one month of requests, still I cannot receive the money from bank transfer and I'm in urgent need of them. We're outside of legality boundaries. Now they require an official bank document that doesn't exist and that wasn't required before.
I gave the Iban, the swift/Bic code, the Pot link, everything. I see that it's a common problem, so it may worth grouping our claims for a class action. I require leetchi to immediately solve the issue.
