Dont ever go

Way way overpriced.
Wait in long lines for everything, whether it is food coffee, ice cream or rides.
While we were there, four rides broke down.
We waited a full hour for a ride with an estimated waiting time of 15 min.
Anything that has to do with lego it looks like they stopped maintaning in the 1980's.
The deposit machine for the lease of strollers didnt repay the deposit and the staff did not care that the machine malfunctioned.
I will never ever visit again and I strongly advice anyone to spend their time and money somewhere else.

I would give 0 stars if i could.

Dear Esben

We are sorry to hear that your visit did not live up to your expectations.

LEGOLAND is a highly sought-after destination, especially during peak season, which leads to increased waiting times at the entrance, attractions, restaurants, and shops. To accommodate this, we have extended our hours during this busy period, as typically there are fewer visitors later in the day.

We understand that waiting can be frustrating, and it's unfortunate that you had to experience long waits. We strive to minimize wait times; however, it can be challenging when we receive a large influx of guests simultaneously.

Your feedback is crucial to us, and we appreciate the time you've taken to share your experience.

Should you wish to provide more details about your visit, please email us at info[at]legoland.dk and include your order number.

Best regards,
Zenia, LEGOLAND

Customer Service horrendous

The resort in itself is not bad. Interesting Lego creations, quite a lot of them quite dated and lost the original colour. Unfortunately the Customer Service in this place is to be rated 0. RUDE is most accurate word to describe some, not all luckily, employees in this place. Specially considering the entrance ticket price. Would not recommend the visit to anyone who is expecting good customer service.

Expensive, crowded and everything closed at 18

To much people which means you had to wait 20-30 minutes for the most of the attractions, to expensive for example 45 dkk for a coffee,.not even talk about the price for the entrance and the accommodation and the craziest thing was that all the attractions and stores closed at 18 but the park at 20. The excuse was that we have to empty the park.

It's ridiculous that so many people are allowed to het in the park at once. It was way too crowded. We've been in the park for a whole day and where only able to do 4 rides. The prices for both the entrance as for food/drinks are way too high. Especially compared to the quality. Too bad!

Run away from Legoland, terrible!!!

Just left Legoland. We wanted to leave as soon as possible. You pay so much money, your children are excited to go and then you get into a park, where way too many people where let in. We could not walk normally, so crowded. Waitinglines where 45+ minuten, for 30 seconds of fun. If I where Legoland I would have been ashamed. How can you charge these prices with such a terrible park. The danger of so many people in 1 place. Restaurants had waitinglines far outside the restaurants of 30+ minutes! So people, don't go. It is a fiasco, made big by commercial people.

Shape up, clean up and lower the prices

This review mirrors the opinion of so many others: the absolute greed. The prices that are 2-3 times higher that in town. Everything is incredibly expensive and they charge for parking, for the little ketchup packets when you buy a 125kr menu. Etc etc. I do want to add one thing. The place is starting to look old, tired and run down. The Lego buildings are faded and the banisters rusted. Lots of cobwebs all over. For those experience prices the place NEEDS TO SHAPE UP

How can a place this greedy and clearly doesn't care whether paying customers have good time or not even be allowed to exist?
Should be closed to protect the families from loosing money (lots) on such a poor and overcrowded experience..
You really should be ashamed of yourselves.
Especially when you try to defend it with bad excuses.

Just focused on money

I made a reservation in Holiday Village and forgot to add my seasonpass number so I payed full price. It was my mistake but I called them hoping that a company like Lego would say "ey, don't worry, of course we will return you the extra money you payed". But no, they say there is nothing they can do. So basically there is nothing they want to do.

Avoid Legoland.

Dear tourists.

Do not visit Legoland. I am ashamed on my country's behalf of the skyrocketed prices, the immense crowding and the crammed feeling, as the park has gradually expanded way, WAY beyond capacity in the spacing available.

I grew up in a neighbouring city to Billund, and I LOVED Legoland as a kid in the late 80s-early 90s. I have watched the park's demise to heavy consumerism with sadness in my heart. Rest in peace my pretty, cozy Legoland park.

Denmark is a wonderful country for holidays, but go with other adventure parks, such as Djurs Sommerland, or Faarup Sommerland, they both offer much more value for the money, less crowding and stress for the entire family ♥️

Ripoff

Great park, expensive fun, but do not purchase Reserve and Ride. It was not received electronically as promised and staff could not help me on site. Legoland refuses to refund for Reserve and Ride Ultimate despite not being delivered.

disappointed

It was a good fun but it’s ridiculously expensive and you get very little for your money. The restaurant food was great but there were Michelin prices there. Also the most disappointing thing was that they closed down everything at 5 PM at Legoland. It’s not a good idea to go there with a toddler who needs an
afternoon nap, because you only have a one day ticket and your practically get no time to relax and enjoy the whole thing.

It is a lot of fun to go there BUT it is far too expensive. We live close to the park and could make good use from our season pass. For a single day visit it can not be recommended. Especially if you get unlucky and the park is very crowded, you might have a bad experience and pay a lot for it. We could come on may pre-season days during the week, when not much people were there. This is a privilege not everybody has...

Most of the small places where you can buy a normal lunch (hotdogs) are closed. A few places where you can buy anything to eat had enormois ques. The pastarestaurant for a.nice lunch only has a all you can eat buffet for 216dk. Better bring your own lunch ro the park!

The place has deteriorated. I know. I have worked there.

First: I was there in week 31, so keep in mind that it was the busiest week of the year.

However, it is clear that the managment of Merlin, Park and Entertainment has strained the park beyond its capabilities. Instead of striking a balance between user-experience and profitability, they have opted for for increasing the "guest-in-park"-benchmark into the perverse. There are simply too many people and two few facilities. Not only at attractions, but EVERYWHERE.

Yes, they try to make the cueing expereince somewhat pleasurable for the kids with Legos available and they give you estimated waiting time in the park and on the app, but its a backwards way of dealing with the problem. The real problem is that they let too many into the park.

- When I worked there (2011) there was a very high level of focus on user expereince and there employee training. Judging by the lack of service I received at food&beverage-stands that has probably gone out the window.

- 40 min in a cue and the ride broke down leaving hundreds disappointed. Fine. But the middle manager ultimately closing the attraction rushed away without compensation or even just talking to the guests.

- Older animated models and parts of the dioramas were broken and didn't work.

- During the day the toilet descended into overfilled trash bins and disgusting floors. And yes, long cues.

- Rides, such as Unikitty Disco Drop and Jungle Racers, were only partially open (during the busiest week of the year mind you)

All in all, a very mediocre park.

This is without mentioning Merlin, Park and Entertainmen's appalling pratice of "Reserve & Ride" (which is political speech for making money off richer families and breaking the ancient ethical principle of "waiting-till-its-your-turn-like-everyone-else"). OR the fact they have turned every 5 meters into a Coca Cola-wellspring.

My avice to anyone visiting the park:

Do NOT go from June to August.
Do NOT go on weekends.
And if you want fun rides more than amazing Lego builds to go Fårup or Djurs Sommerland.

With all that being said, Legoland still is a magical place for children at the age of 3-12. And the attractions are actually good and quiet clever.

When I worked there managment ACUTALLY cared about guests experience and we got bonuses for treating guests nicely, so if they really cared about customer satisfaction, they should do something about the waiting time and the overfilled park.

Been to Legoland many types

Been to Legoland many types, but it has really go e bad over the last 2-3 years.

1. I paid 105 kr or 15 euro 1 X 1,4l popcorn and 2 x 0,3 cl juice water (see attached). This was in Legoland

2. Lego house employees was before very service minded and played with the kids, now there was no service, and they just sad down doing nothing. And I saw 8 personals standing outside of Lego house listening to a local cafe jaz music, while Lego house is overcrowded and under staffed.

All prices gone up to much, and I felt very greedy in there, and I did not want to buy anything, which I usually do.

See overpriced drink and popcorn in attached.
