Good working and nice dating website, easy to use, good concept with profiling yourself a bit better to get the best or most reasonable matches. From the right intentions. Good and fast service. And yes, as every dating site has the challenge to prevent scammers. And get a more full database of real profiles/accounts from other countries too.

Stay away! They will keep charging you even after you've terminated your membership. I regret not having read the reviews on this page before because it looks like I am not the only one experiencing this.

The app is a scam. I subscribed for a year for 150 euros in total (discount price), and I received a charge of 300 euros. Since 1 month I am trying to talk to customer service. No answer whatsoever. Don’t even think to start with it. I regret I didn’t read the reviews beforehand

It is extremely annoying and embarrassing how Lemonswan treats the customers. In my case, they didnt answer to my half dozen of Emails, asking for a reasonable solution and ending of the non-desired 24 month contract. They simply dont answer. But when somebody complains on this platform or other platforms, then they answer within 24 hours.... so fake these people and I would hope that this non-customer orientated greedy business model fails. It would be good for the society.

I signed up with LemonSwan in September 2025 and was surprised to find out afterwards that I had automatically entered into a 24-month premium contract with a one-time payment of more than €350, including something called a “Starter Package.”

Although I canceled my membership shortly afterwards, I was informed that the contract would still run until 2027 and that early termination was not possible.
This information was not clear at the time of registration, and the cost structure appeared much less transparent than advertised.

In my opinion, the process feels misleading — users are encouraged to upgrade quickly, but the long-term financial commitment is hidden behind complex wording and fine print.

If you decide to join, I strongly recommend:

Reading every detail of the contract carefully before confirming payment,

Taking screenshots of the sign-up and price information,

And making sure you understand how and when you can withdraw or cancel.

I sincerely hope LemonSwan improves its transparency, because this kind of experience leaves many people feeling trapped and disappointed rather than supported in finding love.

In June 2025, the Higher Regional Court of Hamburg ruled against LemonSwan in a case brought by the Consumer Association of Baden-Württemberg for using unlawful contract clauses.
I wish I had known this earlier.

One of the worst experiences I ever had.
1. It has 10.000 questions
2. It forces you to put a face picture which it does not allow you to delete afterwards.
3. There is no delete profile button because they want to keep your info to spam you.
4. The website has bots. It does not have moderators, it funktions on AI bots, which tells me also that those ghost profiles can be also bots OR victims who fell in the trap and paid.
5. It showed me 3 euro per month 50% offer but if you want to subscribe, it is a different price which is very well hidden.
6. I will talk to my lawyer about this situation, because there is no contact, no official email, no support, no delete button. I did not consent to your scam nor spam.

Never leave your data on this site! it's been a month since I deleted my profile and I get spam from this company every day. My rating is a nightmare!

I like this app

first there are hunnerts of questions to be answered. after all has been done and you wanna sign for a member ship; they show you offer of 50% and a price per months. at the same time there are additional costs that you must pay but not presented to be seen easy.
if you pay via PayPal it's not shown how much you need to pay. only after you confirm the payment, you get an email with the additional costs of 139,95€.
later on if you wanna chat with others the pictures are not show, but diffuse. so you don't even know whit whom you are chatting.
that was too much for me, so i wanted to terminate the contract. that seems to be possible (don't really know how that will work out), but these 139,95€ will not be refund at all because of some services. crazy there is no transparency on this page and also the hidden payment via PayPal that you do not see the total price is should have been giving me alarm.

They just take your money, AVOID.

Scam. They took over CHF 1000 from me without me even signing a contract. Don’t go there! It’s a scam all of it.

No reply of the customer support regarding the exclusive contact guarantee and the free of charge subscription prolongation... So It's a scam. Additionally, very few female users. 5 woman in a city with 125k inhabitants...

This website is user unfriendly. Obscuring of profile pictures snd the lack of suitable (female) partner listings makes it practically useless. Additionally the subscription information is deliberately obscure suggesting that one is getting a discount when actually pne is paying the full price. Cancellation terms are buried in a long legal tract, so it is not easy to cancel the subscription.

Same as other experiences... I just try to connect, and then disconnect the next day... I have now a mahnung for 676 euros and I didn't use the service!

Ok.. so I have spoken to my legal representative, he advises me the contract is breached on their part! I have never seen any other members on the platform... no photos ... nothing!

We are going to commence legal action against the proprietors of LemonSwan for breach of agreement.

My legal representative is also preparing a complaint to be made to the Polize Hessen for suspect fraud. It appears LemonSwan has had a number of complaints concerning their questionable activities.

I am so happy about seeking legal advice and regardless of what LemonSwan does, I will be proceeding with a breach of contract and a complaint of criminal fraud.

I am retirning to Australia in 3 months and hope to have this finalised well before then.

It's one of the most embarrassing experiences I ever had. For one year I needed to pay around 500 EUR - something at the beginning, something at the end and something monthly - for having privacy. Especially at the beginning - you get shown one price and as soon you start, price changes to bigger. It might be that the "real price" was hidden somewhere around. Transparency is obviously not something that this website/company cares a lot about.

Success was close to 0% for this one year. Besides that, one gets constantly "messages" from "new members" which all look like each other.

As a conclusion - there are tons of better ways to spend 500 EUR for one year. Stay away from the website and just don't care articles on internet stating that this is good website for dating

Why am I receiving honeypot spam trap, unsolicited trash from this site?

ETA: My email settings are good LemonSwan - as the site owner or associate it's your responsibility to stop these messages, not mine. I've no intention of contacting Customer Services and opening a further flood gate of unsolicited garbage in a foreign ( to me ) language.
