Never buy Lenovo Laptops. Poor customer service and poor quality laptops
I bought a Lenovo ThinkPad Laptop a while back. Recently the screen started freezing randomly. I thought I had a warranty bought so sent the system to them. It has been more than 25 days, that they couldn't solve the problem. Frustrating part is that they never communicate nor you have a visibility of what's going on. I wish I could have given -5 stars, let alone a zero star.
Worst quality PC brand out there
Worst quality PC out there. I recommend any brand above Lenovo (having used 2 different ones, including a supposedly high-performing one at work).
Acer is my favorite PC, and Huawei is more minimalist and good value too.

Delted my cart multiple time and kept calling me so the only way ive could have buy this computer was through him. Be advised to check with a difrent company to get your computer.

WARNING: I purchased a Lenovo laptop from BestBuy, and the warranty expiration date should have been a year from my purchase date, but is isn't!! It is a year from their manufacture date!!!! So I lost 3 months of my 12 months of warranty coverage. They refused to change the date.

I did not expect this from Lenovo. I ordered two laptops but received only one; the second box contained only cardboard. I raised a complaint, but I have not received any meaningful assistance so far. I am genuinely surprised that the package weight discrepancy was not identified at any stage of the shipping or delivery process. This has been one of my worst experiences as a customer.

I bought a laptop thru Amazon to prepare for school and so far I haven't used it for school..it was sent to them for repair and when it returned, yay it come on but now it freezes..so yeah...I have yet to use it for what I bought it for. Their customer service reached out after I sent an email of the other problem and recommended we troubleshoot while he was on the phone..but frankly, all I've been doing is troubleshooting. ..theyre useless with a shitty merchandise.

I Bought a tablet on February 11, 2026 the day after I received the device I noticed that I had another charge that came off of my Cash App card I reached out to them and they told me they only charged me once that’s all it shows on their end while I’m looking directly at the charge and the other one that says pending they are terrible but the Tablet is Nice so far
My experience with Lenovo laptop
I generally appreciate Lenovo for building solid and reliable laptops, but their long-term software integration can sometimes leave a lot to be desired. A perfect example of this is my old IdeaPad Z500. It was a great machine initially, but it eventually developed a notorious software bug: if I accidentally bumped the 'decrease brightness' key, the screen would instantly go pitch black. The brightness controls would completely lock up, and the only way to restore the backlight was to force a complete system restart, turning a simple adjustment into a daily headache.

Purchased a LOQ laptop, came defective, requested a replacement. Took so long I canceled it. Still waiting for the refund. Worse company ever. I have called sooo many times. Will try again tomorrow. I do NOT recommend this company.

They take your money and disappear - Zero customer care!
Do not buy from Lenovo! I ordered a laptop and never received it. Instead of helping me track down my missing package or offering a replacement, Lenovo's customer service completely ignored me. It is obvious they only care about taking your money. Once the payment goes through, they disappear and take absolutely no responsibility to ensure the customer actually receives the product. No support, no accountability, and terrible communication. I had to fight just to get my own money back. Save yourself the headache and buy from a company that actually values its customers!
Deceptive marketing: missing items in my order
This was advertised as coming with a promotional item. I did not receive the promotional item. I have contacted Lenovo EVERY day since I saw the item was missing. They won't even SPEAK to me. They always say I have the wrong order number, the wrong department, the wrong this the wrong that. This is shady and deceptive. All I want is to please talk to a human. I bought your flagship item, does that not qualify me to speak with a human?

The build quality is an absolute joke. Within months, the "premium" finish starts peeling, and the hinges—the most basic mechanical part of a laptop—feel like they were engineered out of recycled plastic spoons. Don't be surprised if your screen starts flickering or the keyboard decides that certain vowels are "optional" just after the return window closes.
Thermal Management: These machines run hotter than a backyard grill. You can’t even use it on your lap without risking a burn, and the fan noise sounds like a jet engine preparing for takeoff just to open a single browser tab.
Battery Life: The advertised "all-day battery" is a total myth. Expect it to plummet from 100% to "Critical Alert" the moment you unplug the charger.
The Service: A Black Hole of Bureaucracy
If the hardware is bad, the customer service is a catastrophe. Dealing with their support team is like shouting into a void.
The Infinite Loop: You’ll be bounced between departments, forced to repeat your serial number to five different people, only to be told that your very obvious hardware defect is "software-related" and not covered.
Repair Limbo: If you are "lucky" enough to get a repair authorized, kiss your laptop goodbye for weeks. They’ll ship it to a depot where it sits untouched, only to return it with the same issue—and perhaps a few new scratches for good measure.
The Warranty Scam: They look for every possible loophole to deny a claim. It’s clear their priority isn’t fixing your machine; it’s protecting their bottom line.
The Verdict
Buying a Lenovo is essentially paying for a high-priced paperweight and a headache. Save your money and your sanity—look literally anywhere else.
Terrible Experience
Purchased a laptop but in error. Returned it and have not received my refund d back yet. It’s been over a month. They keep giving me the run around saying it’s still in approval status. I ask for supervisor but they keep giving me the run around on that too! Don’t buy anything from these people.

I ordered a tablet for my daughters bday and NO WHERE did it say someone had to sign for the package. I get a notice from UPS that a sig is required... NO ONE WILL BE HOME TO WAIT UNTIL THEY SHOW UP!! I call to change the address and I am told NO they cant and that I have to wait until UPS tires 2 or 3 times then WAIT again 5-7 days for a refund!!!
Lenovo deleted saved configuration in an attempt to sell exist merchandise
I had configured a laptop on the Lenovo website and was about to order until I saw that it would take 3 weeks or more to deliver. Bear in mind that I had a complete configuration saved in my checkout basket. I decided to chat with them to see why it would take so long. The representative, Allison, asked me for my ID of the saved basket. She said to five her 2 minutes. After more than 5 minutes, she said that it would take that long because I had configured my laptop. So, she came up with an existing build of which she claimed would meet my needs since it was close to my build. I wanted to compare my build to what she quoted, which was at least $500+ less than the one I built. Unfortunately, it was 3 or more hours before I could do so. When I did, my saved basket was gone. Erased. I emailed Allison back to tell her that I could not believe that they would erase a consumers based but received no response. My guess is that they wanted to get rid of existing merchandise. I will not so business with a company that operates that way. Taking my money elsewhere.

BS Rewards Policy...I've purchased multiple products from…
I've purchased multiple products from Lenovo. Recently (2022) they introduced a reward program in Canada. (I was not aware). I made a purchase recently of a new computer, and during the purchase was told to signup for the Rewards program. I did---after I made the purchase I signed up. NOW I'm told, I am ineligible to get rewards on that purchase, because the Lenovo "Policy" states that I must sign up for the rewards program before the purchase, not immediatley afterward. That's a shite policy, and a complete rip-off to the consumer who just spent hundreds of dollars. Shame on Lenovo. Guess I'll be looking elsewhere for my next purchase, hopefully better customer service.
Purchased Lenovo Y25 144hz 1ms And it was bad
Purchased a new Lenovo Y25 display gaming screen and it was bad The USB port stopped working and I talk to the support they told me that they will give me a new one, but I have to send them my old one. That is with the broken ports, after that I received a used one and had a lot of scratches and also the ports stopped working after one month.
They told me that they can’t support me anymore because of the warranty limit.
After that, I think I will stop recommending any lenovo project. Because of the poor quality and poor customer service.
