Excellent Customer Service

Excellent Customer Service
Had a small issue with having to change team members and struggled to do this online. The customer service advisor sorted this all out very efficiently for me. Thank you.

I registered for my group event but struggled to add the other participants. As soon as I heard from Frankie, who was patient and provided clear instructions I was able to work out what I was doing wrong. Looking forward to the event. Thank you Frankie :)

Very responsive and quick to solve the problem

Very responsive. Of course it was AI at first but that means almost instant responses for the common queries, and the AI knew when it had to pass me over so the process was seamless.
I've been on so many AI support desks where you simply can't find a way to ask a more detailed question. Very happy!

Ticket purchase fails (repeatedly)

Same issue as others - repeatedly bounced out of the race registration for the Hackney Half 2026 (tried 2 different devices). Filled in all the details and the purchase fails on the final step - payment.

Clearly something doesn’t work on the website!

Hi Ben,

Firstly, we are truly sorry that this was your experience. This event saw unprecedented demand, with all stand alone general access tickets selling in 45 minutes, followed by all premium and bundle tickets selling out the next day.

To provide a stable experience for site users, we introduced a queuing system for this event, which allowed the vast majority of participants to pass through the queue and purchase the ticket they desired. For a small number of users, such as yourself, they reached the payment step as the ticket they were purchasing sold out, hence your inability to complete your transaction.

We apologise again for your experience, and are looking for ways to improve this scenario going forwards. You still have the option to run Hackney Half through a charity place, which is available here: https://www.hackneymoves.com/

If you have any further questions, then please do not hesitate to reach out to us on support@letsdothis.com

Make bookings work fairly and efficiently

Like many others, I was drawn into a process that seems like surge pricing, even if it may not be by design! In all 3 attempts to book a ticket for Hackney Half 2026 on 19th May, I was bounced out at the point of paying for a ticket. And then what is offered is Premium Entry, £150. Very disappointed!! An awful pill to swallow after a great day running in 2025 HH. I hope you can fix this for me ...?

Awful

Awful! As a Hackney resident, 10 years participation in the HH, signed up to the early list, no chance of a ticket unless I wanted to spend £150 for a ticket. This is not Hackney!!

Tried to sign up for Hackney Half on…

Tried to sign up for Hackney Half on dot of 1pm, twice for two ticket issues. By the time I finished filling in the lengthy form I was told that the price was 'unavailable'. Filled in from start for next 'drop' (stupid American terminology) at great length, same thing. This feels nearly like surge pricing.

Anyway either the application is defective and/or badly written or surge pricing. Given up since I'm not going to pay over £100, going to run springtime in Brighton instead. Since I'm 74 that's goodbye Hackney Half 'forever' probably.

I'd give them zero or minus if that was an option.

Now have a blah-blah-blah reply, 'stable experience', 'truly sorry'. I'm a tech person, started in 1976, so the reply is rubbish, simply if one is allowed on and starting to enrol, it should successfully finish, that's the ACID database thing, however the tech-bros and marketeers of letsdothis haven't understood this very basic (and fair!) idea.

I'll be after them now, meanwhile I'm running in Brighton which has a better process.

31st August 2025
Just to add insult to injury they've just sent me an unasked for, breezy email saying (after this signal failure) they've 'saved' a place for me at a 'price' of £105. Many of the other local runners hate them now, eventually it'll be an event for hipsters and poshos. I wonder how much profit too?

Triathlon

I was concerned that I hadn't recieved my race No and relevant information for my Triathlon. I contacted Let's Do This and they reassured me that all was OK and that I would recieve the relevant information and race No. on race day.
I was very happy with the prompt feed back.

Event "postponed" 2 weeks before due to run

I received an email to say the Royal Windsor Half Marathon on the 18th May 2025 has been postponed as Let's Go Events is no longer operating. Let's Do This was the booking agent for Let's Go Events. Do they not check if they are tradjng before advertising things for them?
I would like a refund instead of postponing my event as I don't know what I will be doing next year.

Hi Lorna,

Thanks for your feedback and sorry to hear you have been caught up in this situation.

I can assure you Let's Go Events were trading when their events were listed on our site. As soon as we heard about their situation, we closed off entries so you could not book a ticket to any of their events.

This is a very unfortunate situation where the management team at Let’s Go Events will no longer continue to operate. As such, we do not have access to their funds to offer refunds. This is why RunThrough are taking over the event and have offered credit to book one of the 100s of events they have across the UK.

You will have been sent an email with a link to request your choice however, if you cannot find this or have any further questions, then please do not hesitate to contact us on support@letsdothis.com
