Wasn't sure about Licorea as I had never heard of them. Ordered 4 bottles of my fav drink Captain Morgans Black Spiced Rum.
Goods turned up on quoted date (a few days), absolutely bomb proof packaging so impressed. Will defo be reordering, 1st class company.
Having read some of the negative reviews I was a little wary of ordering. The price for what I wanted, however, seemed too good to miss so I thought I would take the chance. My experience is as below where I have addressed some points from previous reviews. Note that my delivery was to Germany:
Delivery - very quick. The wine arrived 3 days after ordering
Packing - the wine was packed in a polystyrene block with holes for the wine and encased in a cardboard box so no damage to the wine possible
Content - exactly as ordered
Bottom line: I had zero problems and will use them again
I live in Scotland and have placed about 14 orders with Licorea over the past 18 months. Generally, the goods arrive within 7 to 10 days. On an odd occasion I have had to email Licorea & Ines gets back within 24 hours to say the product was out of stock etc but would be dispatched within the next 3 days. I got an email confirmation when dispatched. Also UPS broke a bottle & again I emailed Ines and got an immediate response to offer me a refund or a discount code.
I always pay in Euros. Think those nasty comments must be from some other local rival who cannot compete with Licorea. Viva Licorea
Licorea is a great little discovery, found when I was looking for a Whisky specialist. Very good prices, good service and delivery, well packaged.

Bought 200 euro worth of liquor got a status update when it changed hands to UPS where I could see it move from Spain to England to Ireland to home.. very safe packaging unbelievable value sorted for Christmas will definitely be going back
Advertise 3-4 days shipping, but took a month. The order was missing bottles, and I had to keep asking for the missing ones before they sent them. Did not offer apologies or anything. Their site is made by an amateur and is full of glitches that give an incorrect price to the order. They are so used to problems they film their own employees packing the bottles! Avoid like a stomach bug.

Disgusting company. sent totally wrong order and expect me to drag a heavy box to UPS for them as they can't be bothered t arrange pick up. They are refusing to send my correct order untill I do. It's them that messed up the order not me. Will let paypal sort it now.

I have been ordering whisky and vodka from licorea.com for no less than 10 months now. Amazing service all the time. Products exactly as described and arrived quicker than expected (6 purchases). Great service and very good packaging.
Avoid this company. Over 200 euro taken from my account one month ago. They don't have the stock, have not delivered and do not reply to my emails anymore. They have effectively stolen my money also - similar experience to the negative reviews here.
I have to lodge a complaint through my credit card company.
UPDATE! - Please see reply from Licorea below which shows their poor attitude to customers. This is what you will be dealing with. My order number is 38527, ordered on 23rd November for 190.41 pounds or 207.42 euro.
You did not have the stock, and I realised this when I chased you on 09th December wondering where my order was. Having lost confidence in your company I asked for a refund - my right due to non delivery. I have never received the refund but please do print the proof of refund here for all your customers to see.
I have sent many tickets and you last replied a week ago promising a refund. I have all email and ticket correspondence. No replies since and no refund.
Also I am not obligated to post my full name and personal details online.
I have contacted Barclaycard to complain.

I ordered 130 bottles of 5cl markers mark via Licorea and very unhappy with the experience. Firstly, the items took about a month to arrive, which wasn't ideal. When we checked the packaging 9 of the 130 bottles were not full, some of them half empty. I sent the company pictures of the bottles which were clearly well below the levels shown on the website. I was told that they would only refund 1 of the bottles, which was basically empty. Given that I have purchased these for my wedding, I was very disappointed in the customer service. I received sub standard products and refused a refund. A very short sighted response which would mean I would never purchase from this company again.

I first ordered a few year ago, around £300-400. Fortunately it was on my credit card. I was led to believe shipment would be pretty quick but after complaints etc I got nowhere. It eventually took well over a month & broken items in it so I claimed through visa. They gave a full refund and said it was up to the company to arrange collection. In all it took well over 3 month but I ended up with the refund and almost all the order. Obviously I vowed not to use them again.... But, years on & their prices attracted me again & this time their delivery times were showing it could take a while (so at least honest now). I decided to risk it with Christmas approaching. I again placed a large order and this time although the boxes were tatty and some with large bottles which didn't fit right had to be extra taped to keep them secured everything arrived in good order and within the month. I have litre whisky's & gin for less than £8, other whisky's worth around £30 for under £14. Absinthe 90%abv for £13 etc etc. I would now use again although I noticed recently prices are rising. Should still get good bargains though & without paying for flights or ferry.

I found this shop almost by chance when looking for ways to buy from Austria some liquor bottles that can only be found in Spain. Not only the variety on the catalogue was enormous but also the prices really competitive!
Also the bottles are always cautiously packed and the packages arrive really fast. I am extremely satisfied.

Recieved my package(s) completely intact with no damage what-so-ever. I was supposed to recieve one package but due to one bottle being too large to fit in the shipment box it was shipped in a second box with no extra charges added. Props to the shipping company for handling the boxes with care.
Ordered Two items from Licorea shipping took over three weeks and one item was broken. Emailed the company and here is their response. "Hello. For America there's no insurance for broken or lost as you can read in our conditions; This sure wasn't explained during the buying process and the packaging was horrible for a glass product. - very little . I paid crazy shipping prices of around $50. I will never buy from this company again. Please think twice before before buying with them.
I have never left feedback about a company in all of my life, but have felt compelled to do whatever I can to help others because of how bad this experience has been.
I ordered a £28 bottle of Licor 43 to be delivered at the beginning of December, having not received the package I attempted to contact them in January. They told me that the item had been 'attempted to be delivered' and, as I was not in my home at the time, the item had been returned to Spain. There was no indication of a delivery attempt, from the courier, or a warning that this could happen when I ordered.
After a few emails, they then said that they would not refund me as I had to pay for the shipping cost of the return! Even writing this I am getting angry again as I have never experienced such a ridiculous company, as they have effectively stolen my money. AVOID DOING BUSINESS WITH LICOREA! Especially if you are from the UK, DO NOT TRUST THEM!
