Terrible customer service experience

Hi dear,
I go to my local Lidl store ( Dublin road Castletroy Limerick ) twice a week and never experience good customer service. Most of the SENIOR STAFF in there from top to bottom are with horrible attitude and grumpy faces every time i shop there. Look, i don’t normally do complain but decided enough is enough, i still will go there to do my shopping and just quick in quick out, and will check who’s on the till when go to the checkout.

Beware lidl Omni!🤬🤬

Beware lidl Omni!! 😡😡
Just came out of lidl Omni with 24 pack of water and a full bag of shopping. I am parked in Disability spot right in front of the checkout and was told I couldn't take my blue basket to the car. I was made try and carry the lot by myself. My disabled husband saw me struggling and tried to come to my rescue. We looked to see if I missed a sign but couldn't see anything obvious. So angry and disappointed with Lidl. I will NEVER use them again!

Poor service & Discount Scam

Poor service & Discount Scam! Till operator was down right rude. When asked how do we claim the buy 3 discount products, his response was that he doesn't know and won't help with discount vouchers on app.
We haven't been made this unwelcome and unwanted in a groceries store in all my life.

Disabled parking

I’m very disappointed with the parking provided for the disabled. Firstly, there are far too few parking spots for us. Secondly, disabled parking should be close to the door with adequate reversing space. Today I had to park at the furtherest point from the door.
You have a wonderful store, but I will have to return to Asda where the disabled parking is perfect.

I bought a mixer dough

I bought a mixer dough. Broke down, then they asked me to send the item to Germany. It's been 1 month but still nothing. Just back and forward emails. Not recommended

If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would. I have been a customer of Lidl Shackleton for over 5 years. I was upset to learn recently that their baby wipes are made in Israel on illegally occupied land. I asked to speak to the manager to see if there is anything to be done to get these wipes removed. He immediately flew off the handle, said he wasn’t having a political discussion - told me to get out of the shops or he would call the gaurds!! This man should not be a manager! He created a scene infront if other shoppers. Really poor “service”.

Serious Compliance Concerns with LIDL's Customer Service

s a regular customer of LIDL, it is with great disappointment that I find myself compelled to write this review. My repeated requests for safety data sheets, which are not only critical for the safe use of cleaning products but also a legal requirement under EU legislation, have been met with a concerning lack of response.
Over the course of more than five emailed requests, I have yet to receive the appropriate documentation for numerous products. This failure to comply with EU regulations on providing safety data sheets is not just a minor oversight; it is a serious lapse in customer service and corporate responsibility.
The lack of transparency and responsiveness to such a significant matter raises questions about LIDL's commitment to legal standards and consumer safety.
I am assertively requesting that LIDL address this issue immediately. Fulfilling this obligation should be a standard practice, not a struggle. It is imperative that LIDL takes swift action to rectify this situation and adhere to the EU laws designed to protect all parties involved.

Despite my previous positive experiences with LIDL, this incident has left a tarnish on the company's reputation in my view. I hope that this review will prompt LIDL to prioritize their customers' safety and legal rights with the urgency they deserve.

Different drug selling policy on same purchase..

I had realy bad experience purchasing the paracetamol and strepsils on lidl Lusk store, trying to buy them on same purchase, when cashier was telling me it is against of lidl policy.
I can't understand how paracetamol and strepsils are related in drugs perspective as they are made completely from different components.
As lidl management has lack in education may is good choice to not sell medicine in lidl at all, to not confuse customers when they really need help.

Be shamed by a comic magazine

At about 4:45 pm 19/04/2024. I went to St Helena Terrace Lidl store in Dundalk with my boys who are 3 and 6. My 6 years old boy loves comics. And there have few comic magazine close to the tills. My boy was reading the comic when I was checking out. And you staff asked me : Do you want the magazine? I said : No. He said: It's not the library. I was astonished. And I replied: Yes, I will take it. I was totally shocked and ashamed at that time.
It was one of my terrible shopping experiences in Lidl .

Lovely scottish girl at check out in lidl on the nangor Road…

I was in lidl on the nangor Road clondalkin a number of weeks ago and meant to leave a review sooner.
I did not not have a coin or a token so I took s wheelie trolley. Bought more than I could carry. A lovely girl at the till helped me with my shopping and brought it to my car. She was from Scotland. I did not get her name. Her till was closing.
Thank you for your kindness. I have told lots of people. Beautiful customer service.

Horrible

Was in Lidl knocknacarra. My total came to an amount and like 23 cent. My husband gave exactly the amount but the girl refused to take it and wanted 25 cent. My husband said I’m giving you what you said the total was and she said she wanted 5 cent. Now it’s the principal of it. Change the tills to 25 cent if you want 5 cent. If the store is not accepting the one cents don’t give them back in change then. The girl was so rude saying Omg and being so rude. It was embarrassing. Will stick with Aldi staff nicer and would never be treated this way in Aldi. If all other shops closed I still wouldn’t buy there again.

Toxic compost on French lavender plant…

I bought a French lavender plant only 2 weeks ago. It is now almost dead despite being kept at the right temperature and appropriate watering.
This is a built in factor in the soil. The same thing happens when I buy Lidl orchids. They die after a few weeks. Florist bought orchids will bloom for years.
How dare Lidl take a beautiful plant and put it in toxic compost. Its nothing short of sinful.

Lidl guarantee is worthless

Truly awful company. I bought a one cup kettle in September 2023 it stopped working in the new year. Lidl said to contact the manufacturer they said it's Lidl who honours the guarantee. Back and forward for three months and apparently they are sending out store credit.
That's not how the guarantee system works I have emailed them to stuff their credit

Zero customer service

Zero customer service. Cannot call the local Lidl to speak to the manager. Call the 01 number and they have a limited menu to offer. If you are lucky to speak to someone they give you an email address. Maybe we should stick to Supervalu!
