Bought a Liebherr CS1640 from Elite Appliance in 2015 with extended warranty. The Refrigerator worked well for several years. Around the end of 2019 the issue of ice build up in the freezer became a problem. It turns out this water was coming from the drain at the back of the upper refrigerator portion. The Drain was clogging with mold build up. Liebherr service recommended using a small brush and white vinegar to clean it out and it should solve the problem. Cut to this summer, the product out of warranty and the drain and ice problem becoming so frequent that its impossible to keep up with. Liebherr USA refuses to provide any kind of support and gives me a list of "service" providers in Vermont all of which have stopped selling and servicing their products due to reliability issues. I begged Liebherr service to help me find a repair service, they refused, I requested to be connected to a manager to plead my case, I was never connected. All the while the fridge continues to fall apart, plastic hinges snapping, plastic door handles cracking. I will be replacing this unit as soon as possible with a non Liebherr branded product.
Feb 2012: I bought a Liebherr fridge-freezer from a local store because I wanted a bottom-freezer and it was the only one available. The fridge lasted until 2015, when it stopped cooling. Re-gassed it and it worked for a few weeks, then stopped again. Called the Liebherr technical team who took it away to look for a gas leak.
June 2015: Liebherr offered a replacement fridge at a discounted price because they could not repair the original fridge. I accepted.
September 2022: The second fridge has stopped cooling and is out of gas. Technician says there is a leak somewhere, possibly inside the casing which cannot be opened. I decided to call it quits and replace the fridge with a Samsung.
When it worked, the Liebherr was a magnificent fridge, apart from ice build-up behind the vege drawer. It is very quiet and has plenty of space for everything. I am extremely disappointed that it has a fatal flaw - it develops gas leaks easily. Bye bye beautiful fridge that has now gone to the recycling centre.
I have had a lot of problems regarding a cashback offer, after buying a rather expensive fridge (they haven't paid it after over a year of waiting).
Firstly, their excuse was that COVID was causing a delay, then - after many months - they sent me a prepaid card, but it doesn't work and no one answers the telephone when I call.
I have contacted them via e-mail to try to resolve matters (Hugo Prado at Liebherr.com), but his response was rude, arrogant and uncaring.
I have even sent a polite e-mail to the group CEO (Willi liebherr at Liebherr.com) - and I know the message has been read as I have a 'read' receipt - but there has not been a response.
What a backward, awful, dishonest company; they should be ashamed of their dishonesty and lack of integrity.
Just purchased a new Liebherr fridge in May 2022. For some reason the cooling has been inconsistent. Today I tried calling customer care to find out if it is an issue with the fridge or some settings done incorrectly. To my surprise the Customer Care number is shut off. Not sure if the company is still operational in India.
We ordered 2 bottom door shelves and good enough they where delivered with in a couple of days. But the parcel arrived damaged and 1 of the shelves was broken, I phoned Liebherr up and explain what had happened. The lady we spoke to was very nice and understanding and she would send a repayment today.

I did a lot of research into the "best fridge freezer" i could buy with my budget.
and this came up just under a miele brand - and more affordable but still a lot of money.
3 years on - the doors have chips but ive never knocked it - the bottle tray has warped and suddenly broke off and milk and water and orange juice all over the floor.
I went to the website to get spare parts.. its been 11 days since paying HEARD NOTHING AT ALL about my product, CUSTOMER SERVICE REFUSES TO REPLY - going to now open paypal dispute as they are refusing to give me the goods and refusing to reply to me.

I bought side by side Liebherr refrigerator. As I already have several of their refrigerators I strongly believed this one will be the best choice. Removing the box, I was very disappointed when I saw the fingerprints all over the fridge. What about steel smart protection they advertise? I tried to contact Liebherr but that was impossible.Suddenly, the Liebherr service guy from my country called, wondering why he was told by someone in his company to call me. He said he had anything to do with it and did not know anything about smart steel and disgusting fingerprints which stay every time when somebody touches the surface. I can not have that dirty thing in my kitchen, it looks just dirty and awful. It is really sad that I paid almost 5000 euros and I have to keep the fridge in my basement. And that I am not able to talk to anybody except that guy who had no idea about anything. Never again Liebherr.
I phoned their customer services with regard to a fridge shelf I needed. It is fitted in a kitchen that was refurbished in 2020. Bought this from vijyasales NOIDA. they made fool out of me by praising this brand. Always buy samsung, Lg etc the reputed trusted brands. Dont buy this liebherr crappy german technology. After sales is so bad poor and unprofessional people you will want to kill yourself rather than talking to them.

We have had a CUN3303 Fridge Freezer for 4 years now. It works very well EXCEPT: the freezer audible alarm keeps going off for no reason. Temperature is fine. Food is fine. Once you silence it, it behaves- often for days- then goes off for no reason. Contacted Liebherr who suggested "switch fridge off, switch back on" but it hasn't solved the problem. If we could only switch off this audible alarm, this would be a 5 star product. Lots of other posts across the internet about this problem too....
This "respectable company" is a mass of crooks and dishonest ones represented in a thieving way by the other "respectable" Danish and Finnish witt firm, which CAREFULLY take care of the after sales ideology. DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMENDABLE‼ ️‼ ️
Pathetic service. We bought refrigerator on 3rd April 2022 and it was delivered on 5th April 2022. But it has been 3 days now and i am still awaiting it to be installed. Will not recommend to any one. Croma people are equally pathetic.
Where do I start. Seemed suspicious when they showed concern I only had 15 days warranty left. The service they offered as I had no fridge or freezer service was 9 days. Shockingly poor service as initially told a local engineer would be a lot quicker. Upon requesting a more rapid response, told he had ordered part so could not change. Nothing as of yet resolved. Waiting on a "fob off". Looking at the feedback, not very hopeful in there being a satisfactory resolution. WILL NEVER BUY THIS CRAP AGAIN FROM SUCH A POOR AFTER SALES SERVICE COMPANY.

Described as silver, but the colour is actually grey and not pleasant.
The noise too is an unpleaseant- a 'hunting'- hum with an annoying beat.
I made an appointment with a fridge repairer to check if it was faulty, but apparantly not - it is just how it is.
The temperature control is digital, not allowing the customer to have full control i.e. .it has a scale going from 1,3, 5 7, 9. with e.g.the 7 is too cold, and the 9 could be too warm. - so I have a fridge with the contents feeling very very cold to touch. ( and it has 3 lower settings still)
It also has an obtrusive light diplaying these numbers. How much more nicer and more useful the older versions with a knob hidden within the fridge and the ability to sightly tweak when necessary.
It does seem well made, and that is the reason I gave it 3 stars. I wish I could have found another with a similar height, and I would definitely not have kept it
I have re-painted the walls in the room hoping it might blend within a darker background, but not so.
I even considered painting the fridge, but was warned Liebherr may not honour the warranty, so will buy a removable transfer to soften its harsh canteen-look
All so distressing.... and I paid approximately £600 for this unpleasant experience.

Nice looking fridge good if only used by one person the freezer doors have no track and when pulled out will fall to the floor if not held. Called Liebherr and was told that's the way it is designed no tracks to hold the drawers.
