The Website and App both are simple and easy to use. I have been able to review my retirement age and look to the future to see what standard of living i would like. Lots of different funds accessible and good fund performance.

About a year ago I worked for Microsoft who made the decision to move pension to LifeSight (this was overwhelmingly unpopular amongst employees who only had to look at reviews on trustpilot to see how things would turn out). I now have a new job and pension and am trying to transfer out from Lifesight. They literally reply to no emails. My new provider (royal London, seem very efficient) first contacted them on 13/03/2026 and have followed up multiple times. Haven't heard back once in over 3 months!!! They have my pension and are not giving me access to it!!!

Read the google reviews which are truthful. The Lifesight website doesn't work, you wont be able to get your money out without a very difficult and long winded manual process which takes months. I'm NOT recommending this company for pensions.

one of the worst pension companies you can be involved with. trying to move my pension to another company and lifesight have made it as difficult as possible and now after 3 weeks the send me a letter out of the blue saying the transfer has been cancelled and will have to be restarted. absolutely not communicating or telling me why. very poor

I’m trying to transfer my pension from LifeSight to another provider. Unlike virtually every other major UK pension provider, LifeSight does not use Origo Options, the industry-standard electronic transfer system that allows transfers to complete in 2–3 weeks. Instead, they insist on a paper discharge form sent by post, with no online submission and no electronic alternative for transfers to mainstream providers like Standard Life, Aviva, or Aegon.
The result is a process that takes months instead of weeks, with no tracking, no status updates, and no way to chase progress efficiently. For a master trust run by a global firm like WTW, this is indefensible in 2026. Members are effectively trapped by administrative friction.
If you are an employer considering LifeSight as your workplace scheme, please be aware that your departing employees will face significant delays and frustration when consolidating their pensions elsewhere. If you are a member, start your transfer paperwork the moment you decide to move — and expect to chase.
Two stars rather than one only because the investment platform itself functions adequately. The administration is the problem.

The customer service line is excellent. I have just contacted lifesight and spoken to a lady called Elsie and she was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and polite. I was confused by the forms sent to me and Elsie was able to explain everything to me. What a brilliant service. I do wish the forms were printed in larger print.

I just had a really helpful person helping me over the chat function. They're very good, and I'm very gratefull.

Appalling service. Called 3 times now to confirm retirement date each week same letter confirming a later date. Complete lack of communication between departments and to customer. A difficult process which should be easy. Still waiting now for updates.

Impossible to deal with. Deliberately difficult and obstructive. Slow to respond to basic requests, when a response does eventually come, it is yet another layer of bureaucracy, tailored to ensure the process is as painful as possible. Information provided is a mess of unrelated and generic rubbish, in a one-size-fits-none approach to “advice”.

This review would have been 1 star if it wasn't for Christina. You never know how good a company is until you have issues that need fixing. If your expectations are that money is going to hit your account on a certain date and it doesn't. You want to be able to talk to a "helpful" human that can put your mind at easy. Whilst I had to dedicate a lot of effort and escalations into this, Christina was the only one that took the time to actually call me and put my mind at easy after her investigations. I would ask Lifesight to invest in more "Christina's" than flashy webtools that most people of retirement age won't use or understand.

Since both my Final salary and DC pension has moved to this piece of crap company, I can never login. The DC used to work until last week now never lets me use the APP. The Final salary has a password reset everytime I need to login even if it was reset an hour previous. Total waste of time. Get a better website that actually works because the one you have is JUNK!!!!!!

Really informative session that was easy to follow

Company selected them as our pension provider, presumably because they were cheap.
I would personally recommend avoiding them if at all possible, they are pretty incompetent.
Tried to tell me I had no further cash-free cash to take when I did, had to threaten them with the regulator to get it sorted.
Now I am recieving my pension they have managed to mess up allocation of my tax allowance (month 2!), tried to pass the buck to HMRC, but I'd already spoken to them and had the facts.
Can never answer the question on the phone, always want to send you an email 2 weeks later, which typically still doesn't resolve your issue.
Absolutely useless.

After months of trying to resolve my issue of transferring my pension to my current provider.
I actually found someone who would listen to me and help me resolve my issue after numerous emails and phone calls for months.
I wanted to say a massive thank you to Christina Palmer who is the pensions administrator who was absolutely brilliant I can't believe how quickly she resolved my issue of transferring my pension.
Soon as I spoke to her and she understood my issue, she managed to resolve all my issues within 24 hours and have my pension transferred within the next 10 days, which was amazing considering I've been trying for months to resolve the issue.
It's great that Christina took the time and effort to understand my point of view, and throughout the process, she kept me informed at every stage.
Christina is someone I would recommend to anyone in the future.
