Update: Retainer Refunded – Dispute Resolved

Update (January 2026): Resolved

I engaged Lima Thomas Attorneys in October 2025 for an urgent family-related matter involving vulnerable elderly relatives.

Unfortunately, the level of communication and progress was not what I expected. There was an extended period without substantive updates, and although the firm indicated that internal work had been carried out, none of the written deliverables listed in the engagement letter were provided during the engagement.

After raising concerns, there was a dispute regarding the handling of the retainer. The matter was ultimately resolved following further escalation, and the full retainer has now been refunded and cleared.

I have updated this review to reflect the financial resolution.
