Great product-tough stuff!
I feel so much happier knowing my scooter is protected with the X3. It's weighty but fits nicely under my seat whilst riding. The rubberised coating helps to protect the spokes on my wheels from scratches. My D-lock arrived so quickly and in recyclable packaging too.
"I recently had two motorcycles stolen…
"I recently had two motorcycles stolen from a particularly aggressive theft which left my very anxious I looked for something to secure my motorcycles more securely in future and came across litelok after doing some research i decided they were for me and purchased two x3 s i now feel safe that they will be a lot harder to take if this ever happened again "
An excellent product
I bought my X1 a year or two back with the old mount. This rattled in a very annoying way if on a surface that was at all rough. Also, with time, the lock kept slipping sideways, which was also very irritating. I invested in the new mount which is excellent - completely quiet whatever the surface and no slippage. Well done Litelok! So, if you have the old mount, don't hesitate to invest in this upgrade.
"I have given this product a five so easy to usestar…
"I have given this product a five star review. It has not been tempered with but I do have full trust in this lock. I leave my bike anywhere now. The lock is so easy to use and so fast. I found myself not taking my chain with me on many journeys Which was stupid but when the chain is wet and dirty you don’t want to put it in your boxes this lock is ideal because you can wipe it quickly and put it in its own bag. I am so impressed with this lock. I’m going to buy another one so I can lock both wheels Thanks guys. It gives me peace of mind."
Great lock very highly recommended
Great lock very highly recommended. Although it’s bit heavy for my carbon bike but , the locker is peace of mind. Great work
"This product is easy to carry and gives you the confidence that it’s protected
"This product is easy to carry and install. I use it everyday when out and about, easily carried in my rucksack. Gives you piece of mind and assurance your bikes protected at all times”.
Litelok X1 delivers.
If you lock your Bike, that should be the end of it. The Bike ist now secure and you have a reasonable chance of being able to continue with your day when you come back to it. So simple, so not true with many locks.
The Litelok X1, albeit, delivers."
LITELOK X1
Lock was delivered promptly, the lock is a substantial chunk and seems very robust and well made, nice coating on lock so as not to cause scratches on wheels bodywork etc, bought after reading reviews about its resistance to angle grinder attacks.
Decided on the X1 due to the D shackle diameter being slightly smaller so a decent chain can be threaded through the shackle, I’ve a loop chain around a ground anchor then through the rear wheel hub of a R1300RS, the X1 around the wheel spoke and through rear brake disc rotor, finally the chain end through the D shackle.
Will be using this set up when touring home and abroad plus other security.
Very easy to work around.
"Just started using Litelok x3
"Just started using Litelok x3, as my bike was stolen, it had a gold standard D lock. According to an independent review, the Litelok is angle grinder resistant for at least 20 minutes and 4 blades. Friendly, helpful advice every time I’ve rung for advice or support"
Lite lock x1 and tactical mount
Lite lock x1 and tactical mount, fantastic value for a top end cycle lock and a convenient way of mounting the lock on your bike.highly recommended.
2019 BMW R1200GSA, gone in 60 seconds
Imagine parking up your 2019 BMW R1200 GSA outside your hotel in London and waking up the following morning only to find part of your front disc and the expensive lock that was supposed to protect you.
The on-board audible alarm didn’t seem to deter the thieves from stealing the motorbike which probably took them less than a minute to cut through the disc before it pushed into a van and driven away.
After this traumatic event I turned to the internet to find out ways of protecting my future motorbike, or at least make it more of a challenge, against those unscrupulous people who feel it is morally acceptable to relieve people of their processions.
Having seen, at first hand, the effectiveness of a hand held angle grinder, disc brake locks were completely ruled out which meant it wasn’t too long before I came across the LITELOK range.
After reviewing the information and videos on line I ordered up the LITELOK X3 Moto lock which according to an independent tester requires 4 grinding discs to make one cut. Mount the lock through the wheel hub means two cuts resulting in even more time required to steal the bike which might put off the even the more determined teams patrolling the streets at night.
The lock itself is heavy and has a solid feel about it. The ends of the hairpin, where it connects into the main barrel of the lock, have an anti-turn ridge which prevents the hairpin from rotating if the lock has been cut in halve, hence two cuts required to remove it.
The price is a bit on the high side, about two thirds higher than a disc lock, but is fairly easy to justify when compared to the trauma and additional costs required to replace a stolen motorbike. Anything that delays the removal of a motorbike and draws attention to the ongoing event, raises the probability that somebody might see what is happening and contact the police.
Overall I am very happy with the lock, and the new motorbike, and I just hope this X3 lock will prevent me losing my new bike in the future, only time will tell.
LitelokX3
this device is not cheap ,but if you have spent thousands on a new bike why would you not protect it with a quality product such as the Litelok x3 . Worth the cost.
X1 litelok
Tjis litelok x1 feels strong. It increases my trust because I dont think thieves are going to have spare grinding disc wheels in their kit. Very good lock, well made, secure and good to feel trust in it.
Litelok X3
Having had an expensive and supposedly highly rated German brand of bike lock cut through with an angle grinder at Paddington station, I took the decision to go for the current best in market in terms of cut-resistance. The chances of someone carrying round 5+ replacement grinder disks is unlikely - and there will always be easier locks to go for. While it's on the heavy side, it's not disproportionate and I don't notice it on the road bike I use in London. I really like the novel lock mount.
Great service, Great product
I ordered two Litelok X1 D locks which arrived well packaged (minus any plastic wrapping which was great ) and these were delivered to a secure storage locker in just a couple of days which was great service.
"Great lock
"Great lock. I use it as one of two for traveling on my motorbike… I put it in its bag in my top box and off I go with no rattling or thudding in the top box when going over bumps. I was getting fed up with the weight of some of these gold/diamond rated locks….so this meets my needs perfectly. 👍🏻🙂👍🏻"
Customer service were excellent with me and kept me informed throughout the delivery/tracking process which for me is essential due to other commitments.
No worries about leaving my prized Triumph
I always worry when I leave my motorbike for any amount of time.
Even when entangled with a 2-metre 18mm thick link 6.5 kilo chain. Recently, I left it out overnight in a hotel car park, and I know it has an alarm, but I felt less concerned because it had a Litelok X1 attached.
The other joy is not having to carry the chain on trips again.
Instead, I think another one of Litelok's products like the coreflex should suffice.
Litelok core moto
Initially out of stock, contacted by Litelok when item restocked. Arrived well before its delivery date, packaged as was necessary.
Lock was heavier than I expected and coiled to a size that I’ll honestly find hard to store in luggage, I will however find a work around.
Well made product as described by the manufacturer and other reviewers..
The best bike lock on the market
"On the 30th of August this my garage was broken into and my 3 week old Xmax was stolen I was Lucky enough to get back but had £3500 of damage so purchased a new adv 350 but after watching the video from my garage cam of how easy they snapped 2 sold secure Oxford locks and a disc lock decided to go for the best lock I could afford lite lock x1 moto "
My lite lock was delivered super quick
