Avoid at all costs!
Sent me a false fine and refused to accept basic logic and common sense.
Legal theft
Having paid for 24 hours parking and asked for the offered text message to notify me when my parking session was about to expired I was fined 60 for 19 minutes. The offered text arrived 5 hours late! I stupidly thought they offered this text so could avoid the 60 pounds fine. I how know that is just a ply so that they can fine you and legally charged customers extortionate rates for parking. Worcester council should review who is looking after their parking facilities! Day light robbery! I will never visit Worcester again.
LPS low life operators at Warwick Hospital
Warwick Hospital needs to change its parking operator immediately. I am in an ongoing dispute with this sorry apology for a business. It has been going on since November 2024. I paid my £3.10. In fact, I paid a lot over that period as my very ill 88 year old mother was in and out of there after breaking her leg among numerous other issues. On this occasion, the car park was a mess owing to the construction going on and traffic being forced into a single file to get in or out.
Long story short, I was forced to leave my Mum in a wheelchair in the cold while I went to first pay and then join the crawling queue of traffic to get back to her before we could leave. In my anxiety at her distress, I input my car reg instead of hers (we had swapped to her car at the last minute that day). But I had paid. I have the ticket and the LPS told their own appointed appeals board that I had paid for an entirely different car much later that same day and therefore didn't pay for the car at 11.20am. That is defamation! I paid at 11.20am and they know it. I am utterly gobsmacked at just how low these people are prepared to stoop in order to extort money from people in a Hospital environment. They have passed my details on to a debt collector who is now demanding £155.00 and counting from me... well actually... from my 88 year old mother, even though I have repeatedly told them that I was the one driving and that I have proved that I paid. I will burn in hell before I give them a cent.
Warwick Hospital, this cannot be the only lousy review this immoral company has been given. Please please remove their licence to operate.
Disgusting company
Disgusting company, like most parking companies.
I was working at Warwick Hospital on the emergency lighting systems... the hospital put my car reg on the ANPR system and gave me permission to park anywhere, even red hatched lines as long as I wasnt blocking exits from the hospital (which I wasn't).
I returned to my car after working in the hospital to find a ticket... even the hospital staff who contacted the parking company could not get the fine lifted.
Companies like these are run by greedy, selfish, no good people who want to get something for nothing and should hold there heads in shame.
You do NOTHING to contribute towards the UK.

Shocking service
I already had an injury on 1st January 2025 so I visited Warwick hospital Accident and Emergency Warwickshire late in the evening, on parking my car, I took a few steps then slipped on ungritted ice injuring myself, making two injuries, I managed to get up and enter the hospital, I immediately told them I slipped on ice and injured myself, then 20 minutes later my visiting daughter told me fresh grit was being spread out in the car park, I'm in so much shock I forget to pay for my parking charge, so I returned and tried but it said no charges as I've just arrived, I reported it to the security who gave me a phone number and told me to phone tomorrow, which I did but no human, just a voice saying a call back would happen, I waited 2hrs but needed to visit the toilet, on returning to my bed I noted a miss call I tried returning call but same recorded voice offered a call back. On top of all this their email addresses are returned not valid.

Disgusting charged me £100 back in April for parking in Llanelli I was there 5mins to walk my dog for a quick toilet break apparently I shouldn’t have been there as shops were shut?? October 2024 had another one for the garage moving my car out while they serviced another car. Which thankfully garage has paid but 5 mins is a joke should be a law against it
Rip off only after your money
Parked on public house car park for 12 minutes displayed blue badge on dashboard got a parking charge notice in post tried to get in touch with company no luck at all

If I could have left a zero star review I would have.
I was charged £100 when dropping off an elderly family member with mobility issues at the car park at Anne Hathaways Cottage. I waited a mere 12 minutes until her companion arrived. I did appeal this, no surprises that the appeal was rejected. If I recall correctly, there was only one other car in the car park. I know this is a money making scheme, but £100 for 12 minutes, that's pushing it.

I parked in guild st car park Stratford. I had a medical emergency and overstayed by 20 mins. I got a parking fine from local parking security ltd and under the equality act 2010 they have to allow for disabilities. I offered a payment also refused. I went to POPLA but of course as many others have said they upheld the fine. I expected then to hear from the company again as everything was on hold whilst making an appeal but no got a £170 demand from Debt Recovery plus another bunch of scammers. I have written to my MP tonight and the PM about these illegal firms.
It's a scam.
My daughter's carer parked on the side of the river at Bidford-on-Avon and displayed her blue badges, also, unbeknown to me at the time, she paid £3.00 at the meter.
A week or so later I get a parking ticket. I immediately emailed the company saying that my daughter had a blue badge. I got an automatic return to say emails would be answered in 28 days. I then paid the fine because had I left it they would have wanted another £40 on top of the £60.00. I then get an email from them saying that blue badge holders have to pay, ok, fair enough if it is obvious. My daughter's carer then tells me she paid three pounds to park. I informed the company who asked for the last four digits on the card. I provided the information and I then got another email. This time saying that once the fine was paid they closed the case. Then why ask for the last three digits. They are nothing but a scam. please people take note. Local Planning Security ltd are scammers . The date on the notice was 14th August 2024.

I have never seen a more disgusting company. I always buy and have bought parking tickets. I have never tried to evade parking fees. Last time, I also bought a parking ticket, but their application was for a different parking lot. There is approximately a 20-meter difference between the two parking lots. I sent the receipt showing that I bought a ticket but didn't pay attention to the street name and number. They did not accept my appeal. I hope the £100 fine goes to a good place. Disgusting company. Thanks for nothing.
Warwick Hospital Parking
Parked at Warwick Hospital Sunday 09-Jun-2024 for a little over an hour for emergency appointment. Couldn't see where to pay as car park is a nightmare of construction sites and portacabins. Trying to pay by phone but after being on hold to LPS for over an hour I give up. No option to pay online.
DREADFUL company.
Parking at The Princess of Wales
We drove to a nearby pub, The Princess of Wales, in Clapton for an early evening meal. We parked in the car park and paid for parking. We were happy to pay the charge because the pub reimburses the cost. We had a pleasant meal, handed our parking ticket to the bar staff and were refunded the cost. We drove home. A few days later we received a PCN from Local Parking Security Ltd. To cut a long story short, we must have entered the car's registration incorrectly. We went through the appeals process and finally received an email stating that 'Minor Keying Errors' are acceptable whereas 'Major Keying Errors' i.e. entering the wrong vehicle registration, only typing a partial registration and mixing up the numbers and letters then drivers are requested to pay a £20.00 fee in settlement of the Parking Charge Notice. We were now liable to pay the £20 settlement. At no point did Local Parking Security Ltd inform us of what registration was input to the system so we have no idea whether we had made a 'minor' or 'major' keying error.
It was quite clear that we had paid for the parking albeit with an allegedly incorrect registration number. It's this type of wanton behaviour that makes parking companies so loathed amongst the general public. There's nothing the user can do if they want to park by the pub, they have to use the Local Parking Security Ltd parking spaces. Incidentally, as the system relies on ANPR, why can't the system automatically select the correct car from the first few characters of the registration and ask if this is the correct registration as is found in many other car parks.
Once again have to give 1 Star that you don't deserve
My Daughter parked in a local Space in Henlow Beds which you can get parking for free if you are using the shops. The shops provide a ticket for your vehicle, problem is you park first then go get the ticket. My Daughter returned to her car to find a private enforcement officer about to put a ticket on her car. In fairness to him he accepted the free parking ticket and didn't hand her the ticket.
However LPS then sent a final reminder for a fine of £100 with no previous contact. She would have accepted the fine if she had a ticket to deal with, she doesn't even know what the original fine would be.
Their letter stated that we could appeal within 28 days, which we did so on the 18th of December.
Today she has received a notice from a debt collector now asking for £160. She has had no response to the appeal.
This company are nothing more than back street bullies, they have ignored the appeal and handed over responsibility to others.
I will check the box below so that they get the review but given the number of excruciatingly poor reviews i am confident that they couldn't care less.
Cowboys who issue PCN on someone else's land
My daughter was issued a PCN by "Local Parking Security" (LPS) recently. The road she parked down was, confusingly, the only privately owned road in the vacinity. Road markings seemed to imply she would be ok parking on the side of the road adjacent to a newly constructed hotel. The opposite side of the road had parking meters for a pub but since she wasn't parked anywhere near that then the assumption was that she would be ok.
Local Parking Security issued a PCN on behalf of the pub, even though she wasn't parked on their side of the land.
When challenged about this, the pub replied as follows (verbatim copy-paste) :
"we have contacted the parking company we use to find out what as happened . they have not been very responsive to use as of yet but will be in touch as soon as they do how ever we believe that there are some confusion who actually owns that part of the road since it as been named along with the parking situation at the side of the IBIS hotel".
In other words, Local Parking Security are issuing PCN tickets on behalf of the pub along a section of road that the pub doesn't know if it's their land or land owned by IBIS Hotels.
Over a month has passed since being told that and Local Parking Security has never responded to the pub, or the pub's head office, to clarify why they issued the PCN along that section of road. The pub is now refunding the PCN amount but Local Parking Security has remained very tight lipped.
LPS boasts exceptional customer service - the experience here, which appears similar to other reviews posted on Trustpilot, is real-life proof that their customer service is completely non-existent.
Not even their company secretary, or their managing director - both of whom were emailed for comments - have bothered to reply.
Pure greed
I am not appealing my parking fine but the cost is extortionate. I was over my paid time as the Spurs v Chelsea football match that I took my grandson to see over ran by almost 30 minutes. £60-£100 is far too much. A greedy company.

There is no service/helpdesk surely a minimal requirement for a public-facing business.
Disgraceful company
Disgraceful that a company will charge 60-100 pounds for being 20 minutes over time when I appealed and clearly gave a reason as to why I was late back to the car (a recent major operation made it hard to walk quickly). Considering the cost of living crisis this company is no doubt raking it in with no empathy for people's personal and financial situations. I'm not saying don't fine people but be reasonable for goodness sake!

Fine £60-100 for being a couple of minutes over. They do not consider or acknowledge extenuating circumstances, only reply an automated response to problems. This was even when local parking security had assured me that I would not receive a fine. Overall, not a very person friendly company.
