Absolutely brilliant we had someone else booked who didn't turn up but didn't bother to tell us. Gabriel rang immediately fitted us in that night rang b4 he arrived. Got into the garage for us, unfortunately the lock was too old to replace so we needed a new handle as well, got it and replaced it quickly keeping us informed, no extra labour charge. A lovely man would thoroughly recommend.

Just got saved from accidental lockout of the flat by Marian. He was absolutely great, professional, fast and very polite. The lady in the office was also so very helpful and sort out the help in no time. Great Job! Thank you LockSub and Marian.

Our daughter who is very vulnerable and alone has suffered a horrendous distressing time coupled with someone attempting to gain unauthorised access to her property and severely damaging 2 doors in the process. This resulted in my wife and I having to act quickly to secure the property. The job was beyond our capabilities of repairing and securing. Having been let down on four occasions the one company (Able locks).
I contacted LockSub and Chloe (Despatch manager) calmly took control and responded immediately to resolve this by allocating the task to George (locksmith) who arrived promptly within 40 minutes to carry out a difficult task in such a professional manner. George's actions and dedication to the task in hand were second to none. His politeness and the way he conducted himself throughout this daunting challenge had to be seen to be believed. He was totally committed to us throughout. George and Chloe should be congratulated on the way this was handled and are truly a credit to the company. Thank you so much.

Needed my front door fixing, Richard came out quickly and fixed the problem to a high standard. Would recommend.

I called what I thought was a local company but it turned out they were locksub trading under a different name BD Locksmith. They said on the phone when I booked it was £69 call out charge + price of a new lock which start at £25. I thought this was an ok price but the locksmith came and was able to fix my lock very quickly without fitting a new one. I was charged £180. I paid by card over the phone and provided my email address for a receipt which they haven’t sent.
I replied to their below message to try and resolve and never got a reply.
Locksub have tried to remove my review by reporting it as fake but I provided trustpilot with documentary evidence to show it was genuine so my review has now been verified.

I contacted LockSub on 4th September 2021, regarding an issue with my door. I found them by googling locksmiths and it came up as a local number. The person on the phone said it's a £59 callout charge. I said that's fine and they sent the locksmith after a few hours. When he came, he said it's a £59 call out charge and after half an hour, he said it's £65 per half an hour. I said that's fine and to start the job.

He looked at the door and after a few minutes, he said what the problem was and he said he didn't have the part and he would have to order it to which he spent over ten minutes on the phone. I had to go outside and hurry him up because he was being slow and I didn't want to pay more than the half an hour. I told him I didn't want to order the part as I can get it somewhere else. He was trying his best to make sure we pay for the part which suddenly he had in the back of his van. After I put my foot down to say no, he was really annoyed. I was expecting to pay £59 then he dropped a bombshell that it was £148!! I said I'm not paying that. He said it's £59+ £65 + VAT (which definitely was not mentioned!!!) I had to pay it to get rid of him. It's very expensive for a guy to come look at a door and spend time on the phone!

I tried to contact the company and they have not responded at all!

In response to below, I immediately forwarded the orginal email to the one you provided and I STILL haven't heard a reponse from 2 days ago.

Update (24/09/2021). STILL no reponse from the person who replied to my review even though I sent her an email almost straight away when I saw she replied to my review. It's been 10 days later so they probably didn't care and they are only responding to my review to show they care but clearly they don't. You are better finding someone from check a trade I found someone from check a trade to come and fix it temporarily by changing the lock and came again free of charge to fix it and align the door properly.

This was to replace a front door lock, in normal working hours, rang 9am, did arrive and finish before 10.30, had the key for the old lock. Have requested bill to be amended, within 7 days, if so, I will amend my review accordingly.

Fixed the lock without agreeing a price beforehand then charged over £200 for less than five minutes work. Beware.

Found this company on the web ,my 94 year old Mums upvc lock was in need of an update .Nick the technician came and asked me what I need to be done he went away ordered the parts kept me updated on parts .New locks and handles were fitted ,very pleased with the job and the cost was very reasonable,all came with a 12 months guarantee ….Rick .

I was very happy with the recent experience I had, with George, who was the locksmith who attended my property. He came when he said he would, gave me a call when he was on his way (like he said he would at my request) and was very polite, professional and quick. Managed to fix my door handle, saving me the expense of replacing it and talked me through exactly what was wrong and what he fixed. Would highly recommend George and will be using him again should I ever need to! Great service.

Gabriel did a terrific job on patio doors for me. He replaced the mechanism, fitted a new lock and new handles, no problem in recommending him!

George was brilliant. With us within half an hour and had us back in within 15 minutes of that. Gave us loads of options and explained everything. If my Mrs ever over oils our locks again and we need someone to let us in, I'll not hesitate to use George and Lock Sub again

In response to my very elderly neighbour's pleas for help (she had closed her front door behind her when leaving the house having left the keys in the lock indoors), I contacted LockSub. Chloe Hooker managed the call and was excellent, very reassuring and upon request gave a ballpark estimate of costs, stating that the locksmith (Jason Meaden) would be on site within the hour. Jason arrived within 20 minutes and took but seconds to expertly get the front door open, no fuss, no damage. Jason was instantly likeable, very courteous with a lovely sense of humour, professional throughout. He made an inconvenient circumstance pleasurable through his personable ways. Our thanks to all.
