I bought a Loftzone starter kit (1.2m x 2.4m) to use in the attic of my 1890’s built property. No surprise then that the joists I was working with were not spaced at regular intervals, but I was able to adjust accordingly to get a result I’m happy.
If you do select the same starter pack you should consider adding 3 extra Uni-supports. To be fair the “whats included list” does make it clear the the pack only come with 3 - but when it also includes 6 steel cross-beams it would make more sense to me to include 6.
Overall the product is very good - the reason for the 4 star review is that the dispatch and delivery process doesn’t reflect what is described. This seems to be a common issue as its mentioned in a number of other reviews.

Put simply...LoftZone's StoreFloor is brilliant. I have recently installed two floors...one using 'legs' and more recently Storefloor. It was so much easier to build, feels rock solid...and I recommend the 'Supreme' boards. Lovely easy locking surface. I used a string line for the first line..then found a measured timber batten was best way to quickly measure and install the next line.. Service and delivery in my case was quick and efficient...more now on order!

Simple to order items on line contacted customer services for some information very helpful and a pleasure to deal with, items arrived and raised floor now down easy to install and looks good thank you loftzone

Good product, worked well and delivered promptly.

Reasonably easy apart from few things like wiring and certain support was in the way. Purchasing was good where apart from accidentally orderded the extra wrong triangles on the website redirected to the wrong ones. Said that, I returned the wrong ones and reordered the correct ones only losing £11.06 for posting them back and paying the difference.

The product was easy to install, the hard part was moving and replacing the 400mm of insulation!!
I did it myself and found the instructions and video accurate.
Don’t forget to remember to get temp/permanent lighting at the same time as you get the Loftzone gear.

Excellent products, packaging not so much

I have placed two orders now for LoftZone StoreFloor and heavy-duty steel shelving. If you are looking to install a raised floor to board your loft you will not be disappointed. The products are superb, easy to fit and the instructions are clear.

As for the packaging, when the first order arrived the courier pointed out that one of the boxes was open so that I should check everything was there. He made a note on his system. I thought it was all there, but when the second order arrived - also with one of the boxes partially open - I realised that one of the steel beams to support the shelving had been missing from the first order and must have come out in transit. The first order didn't have any instructions in it, and the screws were loose in the box.

It was only when the second order arrived with eveything there I realised that the first order had lost some items in transit. Two bands of packing tape holding together a large box containing heavy steel items is not enough.

So five stars for the products, two stars for the packaging. Please me more generous with the packing tape!

Good kit for changing a loft space - I bought the metal shelf beams which went in quite quickly over the trusses and looked fine for purpose. I can see other LoftZone products would help the who haven't already boarded their loft. Happy bunny, problem solved!

A very good product. We have a large new loft that needed boarding; this was done by our builder. He had not used LoftZone before but was impressed with the product. Prior to purchase I had very useful guidance from Ciara. Delivery was on time & the driver was very helpful. All in all a most positive experience

Loft Zone is an incredible store floor system, and an amazing company. The raised floor system means that the loft boards themselves are raised with a large gap separating them from the ceiling joists, which means that pressure isn't placed on the joists themselves, protecting the ceiling joists. It also keeps electrical wires, pipes, and loft insulation safe from being damaged. The uni supports, tri supports and C sectional cross beams mean that the loft boards have a very structurally sound, solid and strong support system underneath, making the loft boards very very safe to walk on and store items on. The loft boards themselves have an interlocking tongue and groove mechanism, which means that the loft boards lock together to maximise safety even further. The logical way in which the Loft Zone store floor system is constructed, ensures maximum safety and protection for lofts. Furthermore, I contacted the company after we had purchased the system, and the members of staff who I was in contact with were very helpful and positive. Will Bannister from Loft Zone was so supportive, helpful, understanding, caring and professional, he created a very positive, professional, warm, welcoming and empathic atmosphere, and made me as a customer feel very valued and welcomed, the care and understanding he demonstrated, and the wealth of professional knowledge and expertise he had, was so helpful and reassuring to me as a customer. I'm not amazing at DIY, just basic putting up shelves and stuff like that, and I found this very easy to fit by myself as a woman in her forties. I don't have an electric screwdriver, so I screwed it all in manually, which meant it took me longer than it should, but I'm very happy with the result. The floor is sturdy and has left enough space for airflow above my 270mm insulation.

Can't fault the product. Met my expectations.

Only thing that could've been improved upon would have been parcel tracking. No information provided.

Came in 5 parcels, delivered over 3 different days.

Like the idea o being able to buy a kit and also purchase additional items. Why when you watch the videos on the internet they all have perfect lofts with 600mm gaps between the joists!!
My loft was not perfect but the product was able to deal with this with ease. I was amazed at what is a simple idea in design has managed to have thought of all the issues and design the solution in such a way it is so adaptable.
Deliver was quick and easy and also additional items I needed to deal with a non standard design arrived quickly too.

So, great product, well design and would recommend.

Great product, easy to order, easy to put together, sturdy construction. Would recommend.

Great product, easy to install just need to plan the layout in advance. Nice solid raised loft system once the boards are screwed down. Better than the individual stilts sold by other companies. Service was good ordered on Wednesday, advised of progress, text from DPD saying delivery on Saturday between 11.18 and 12.18 delivered exactly at 11.18. Definitely recommend this company and product.

Great product, makes a real difference to the storage options in my loft, the ability to collect was another real bonus. Great product strongly recommended.

Product is very good. The delivery firm used was a disaster.

Boarded quite a large space, so measured carefully and order was delivered promptly and correctly. Concept works very well. Word of warning though - my house is only 6 years old but the beams in the loft were not evenly spaced at 400 or 600mm. In addition they were at several different heights, so I had to space carefully and cut metal cross beams, as well as using wooden blocks to adjust for height differences. Despite all the extra work, loft looks great and is transformed by Loft Zone system.

I ordered the complete 700mm wooden shelf kit and I had them fitted in about half an hour if that. There's a design acronym called K.I.S.S. which stands for 'Keep It Simple Stupid' and this company have nailed it. So simple to fit. Great product and at a reasonable price. Now I'm wondering what else I can do to my loft and I know where I'll be looking...

Order expedited swiftly and promptly delivered. Very simple to install all done in a day (5mx2m).
