Our London Fog was sent to Kauai for our trip and arrived 2 days early . The weather became very dangerous and we had to cancel our trip . Our luggage sat on the porch for 9 days in really bad weather . Finally got our luggage back and everything was perfectly dry inside .I was so excited and praise my London Fog luggage . Thanks for your product !!
Sub standard product
I purchased a red piece of London Fog Luggage 2 years ago and after the second trip the inside zipper tag fell off and then lining ripped . The 3rd trip the whole expanding zipper ripped so now it doesn’t zip closed smaller . I sent 8 pictures to the warranty company which was a complete waste of my time as they obviously came back and stated it was normal wear and tear ? After 3 trips my luggage looks like crap and I would NEVER recommend buying this luggage and the whole product and experience was sub standard . Don’t waste your time or money !
I purchased two soft sided suitcases, London fog
I purchased two soft sided London fog suitcases, the collection was the Sheffield collection.
Right from the get-go, the materials started to pull away from the seams. The wheels went a bit wonky. I had purchased this brand from Macy’s expecting it to be a decent product. When I contacted London fog, they totally ignored me. I’ve tried several times, and guess I just have to come to terms with the fact that I spent a lot of money for very low quality suitcases. Do not buy this product. Very poorly made an absolutely no customer service. The warranty is really a joke.
No longer a good brand name
UPDATE: I went a head and spent the $24 on shipping for a new bag. They sent me a bag with the same name and product number however it is 1 in shorter on all dimensions.
Save your money and buy something cheaper because in this case you do not get what you oay for.
January review:
I contacted London Fog regarding a suitcase that developed a defective telescoping handle on its first trip, within a month of purchase. The handle twisted, collapsed, and made the suitcase difficult to maneuver. London Fog approved a full replacement under warranty, which I appreciate.
However, I was required to pay nearly $24 in shipping to receive the replacement. When a product fails almost immediately due to a defect, asking the customer to pay additional costs shifts responsibility away from the manufacturer. The process also required multiple photos, emails, and time investment for a straightforward mechanical failure.
While the replacement itself is an acceptable outcome, the overall experience does not fully align with the idea of standing behind a product. Consumers should not have to pay extra or navigate a lengthy process to resolve defects that appear on first use.
So much for an older, established, trusted brand name.
I Star is too much for this bad quality…
I Star is too much for this bad quality and what they call custemer service for luggage that is such bad quality the zipper started to Frey and come apart after 1 trip. Save your money this luggage is not worth it.
Horrible customer service and worthless warranty
Horrible customer service and worthless warranty. Hard sided suitcast broke in two places on first trip and only got a run around by customer service. They clearly had no interest in standing behind their product.
I would never ever buy London Fog (LF) luggage
I would never ever buy London Fog (LF) luggage - they have the worst customer service when you have issues.
My LF carry-on developed issues with the telescopic handle within 2 years of purchase and I tried to contact them for warranty service. That's when I came to know that LF has outsourced their luggage service to a company named LeisureLuggage.com. It is a pain to get in touch with LeisureLuggage (LL). After repeated attempts, I finally got in touch with LL and they had the audacity to ask me for a $50 payment to get a replacement carry-on, which was close to what I originally paid for the suitecase. No matter how I approached them, no resolution came from LL and I just gave up.
LF customer service never responded to my request for service, even after multiple attempts.
Lesson learned: Never, ever buy London For luggage.
Poor quality and service
I have purchased a medium size luggage at a Winner's store in Markham less than 2 years ago. The retractable handle gave way about half year ago. Also, the surface was ripped about 4 months ago after it was being used about 5 times after purchase. I complained to your office 2 times with no response. I am very disappointed with London fog's product's quality as well as your after purchase service.
Crappy overpriced luggage
The rivet holding the handle in place came out after two trips it was purchased on 8/16/24 .I contsct London fog customer disservice and try to submit photos and experienced trouble uploading the pictures then was summarily denied .This brand has become crap BUYER BEWARE
Awful support experience
Awful support experience, never purchase anything from this joke of a company. I purchased a carry on bag that came apart within the first 6 months of ownership. Despite their claim of multi-year warranty, the “support” team just ask the same questions repeatedly in the hopes of you disappearing. Never, ever buy from this pathetic company.
Loved my London fog suitcase until
Loved my London fog suitcase until. Lightweight ,easy rolling ,pretty. Loved it until my first trip. It came off the plane with the pull handle base pulled 1/2 way out, a zipper seam splitting and a big dent in back. Customer service blames baggage handler. Where do you find the gentle baggage handlers?? I never seen any . All baggage is treated the same. Personally I would expect luggage to stand up to many flights London fog has manufactured a poor quality suitcase and covers themselves with poor quality service.

I bought a watch and it’s not waterproof
And got water in the first day. And when try to set the time it’s broken .

London Fog Luggage Warranty
On my recent trip to Ireland, the zipper stitching came apart rendering my two year old suitcase unusable. I had to buy a new one as I was just about to start a 9 day guided bus tour and left the damaged one at the hotel as they agreed to dispose of it for me. When I returned from my trip, I submitted a warranty claim to London Fog. I had pictures and I had my original receipt. My claim was denied. They physically need the suitcase and they need the serial number. Who knew a suitcase had a serial number🤣 They expected me to carry around the damaged suitcase and then pay extra to bring it home. Lesson learned.
My London Fog Suitcase broke on first trip
I bought a set of London Fog soft sided suitcases with spinner wheels. The first time I used them, one of the wheel mounts broke and was hanging by one screw. I contacted London Fog. They said it was not covered by their warranty because it likely happened due to rough handling and not a manufacturer defect. The wheel broke right where the mounting screws screw into the bracket. This is obviously a faulty bracket to have broken off inside of the bracket. London Fog doesn’t honor their warranty!
They wont honor their warranty
I purchased a London Fog suitcase thinking it was a quality brand, but it started falling apart after just 5 uses. The stitching came loose and I contacted their customer service expecting them to stand by their warranty, but they refused to help. After looking into it further, it seems I’m not alone. Many others have had similar issues with both product durability and lack of support. Very disappointing experience. I WOULD NOT recommend buying from this brand.
non existant customer support
non existant customer support. bad service, bait and switch. Purchased a gift for my daughter's graduation which is this Friday. placed and order a weel ago and was assured it will be delivered in three days if I paid for expedited shipping. a week later no gift , no responses to my inquires .
Zipper broke, horrible customer service
First time I used the suitcase 1/2 of the double zipper mechanism on the large part of my 28" piece of luggage fell off after the mechanism cracked due to the plastic nature of the piece. Customer service was absolutely no help! I am left with a suitcase that has a sketchy zipper.
I purchased a London fog Westminster…
I purchased a London fog Westminster luggage set off Amazon. The first time I used the carry-on size the handle broke while on vacation. Came back. Returned the entire set. Reordered again as I was hoping it was just a one-off, but the same exact thing happened on another trip which was 6 months later, And the first time I used it. No customer service responses.. sent me to three different departments and have said they will not refund anything. London Fog used to be a great company but it has totally gone downhill. I would not purchase anything from them!!!
Not Made By London Fog - Stay clear!
After 2 trips, the retractable handle on my London Fog hardshell carryon bag will not raise all the way up. With a 5 year warranty, I reached out to London Fog and was directed to Leisure Luggage in the US. I am in Canada. I sent photos and video of the problem and about 8 weeks they approved my claim. The kicker is, I have to pay for the shipping and any customs fees/taxes and then install the replacement part myself. London Fog should not put their name on something like this, it just devalues the stellar reputation they have always had.
I feel totally scammed and now have a useless piece of luggage!
NON RESPONSIVE CUSTOMER SERVICE
I have been for more than 2 years trying to get a response on my luggage where the wheel broke off. I have emailed left messages nothing. If you are thinking of buying think again I would not!
