I watched Coven last night with my 16 year old daughter. It was an inspiration! An incredible story to learn, told by a spine tingling cast of incredible women with immense voices, mesmerizing musicians and a stunning set. A must watch - it’s simply brilliant! Wonderful also to visit the Kiln Theatre for the first time - what a wonderful theatre - we can’t wait to return.

I did no research before I saw this show just know I would like it but I loved it it was one of the best thing I have seen this year WOW what amazingly talented cast of women it’s a must see. Can’t wait for the cast recording to be released

A very human, emotional and atmospheric portrayal of the Pendle witches. Both the acting and the singing were great and I loved the mix of the main actors and the musical ensemble within the production. It’s made me want to read more about the history behind it. Altogether, a great success and well worth a watch!

Me and my friends travelled to London from Leeds to see the Hunger Games live on stage and we decided to attend a matinee of Coven as part of the trip. Oh my goodness I am so glad we did. Not only was Coven the highlight of our trip but it was better than some productions I have seen on the west end (and 1000 times better than the Hunger Games show!) I don’t think I have ever been so engrossed in a performance from start to finish. It was witty, emotionally charged and the use of puppetry was beautifully haunting. My only criticism was that given the show is in it’s infancy there is not yet an original cast recording of the songs available of spotify - something I immediately checked for during the interval. Me and my friends left feeling like we had seen the next big theatre show. Quite honestly if the cast had come out at the bows and said they were going to repeat the whole show right there and then we would have stayed to watch it all over again. There was a true sense of sisterhood among the audience and it was an absolute privilege to see this show so early on as I am certain it has a long life ahead of it. Just please give us the cast recording!!
