Terrible Service.
Very disappointed with the customer service from L'OR
Purchased a bundle which originally I was very happy about but unfortunately made a small error on the bundle and forgot to add a small item which is part of a slightly larger bundle.
Instead of paying the difference and having the only item sent out. I was advised they cannot help and to purchase the item at the full price instead.
Now having to arrange for the whole package to be returned. Instead of re-ordering the package, I will now be looking at other coffee makers due to the hassel its caused.
Customer service was terrible and there is no logic behind the business thinking. Unnecessary logistical costs, and you now went from having a happy customer to a lost customer.
Would not recommend
Placed an order on 1st December, I was sent incorrect tracking information and my order did not arrive. I called customer services a number of times, it took a very long time to get through to speak to anyone and when I eventually did they asked me to wait for another week to see if the order arrived. Eventually after more conversations with customer service it was determined the package had been lost and all that could be offered was a refund. Refund received however the overall experience was poor and I would not recommend.
Awful company
Awful company! They stated 6 tins on their website but they only to send one tin out. I then contacted them to ask where the others where and they said it was a mistake on their website and have been very rude via email and phone. Avoid at all costs!
Good machine let down by a lack of written instructions
Too many of the reviews on here are about the ordering/buying process, not the machine itself or how it performs. I'm sure it's performing to spec, and I would probably give it 5 stars for that. However, the documentation is poor - the usual 24 languages of unreadable T&Cs, plus a scant few pages of non-verbal diagrams designed to apply to all languages. Unfortunately it's impenetrable - you are on your own trying to work out how to use it. It really needs a WRITTEN manual. What is the L'Or system, and why does it have 2 sizes of capsule? When do you press which buttons? Does it automatically dispense 2x the amount of water for the larger capsules or do you press it twice? etc etc. A plague on these multi-language devices that come with no proper written instructions and are impossible to understand without training! However, after some browsing I found a couple of YouTube videos online that seem to answer my questions. I upgraded my initial 3 stars to 4 stars, seems a good product, but I shouldn't have had to hunt for instructions.
No delivery and terrible customer service
Ordered a coffee machine and capsules on November 16th and still not received anything. Last email from them was 19th November.
Emailed twice and called to be told they're so busy that emails are not being read.
Terrible customer service. Avoid at all costs.
HORRIBLE/NO CUSTOMER SERVICE
Ordered machine and pods on Monday, noticed the charge was in pending status for 5 days, attempted to call them for 3 days with no success, emailed them 2 days in row with no success. Went to go and cancel order simply due to POOR/NO customer service and system does not allow for you to cancel.

I purchased 200 coffee capsules with a 30% discount code. It should have cost £45.50, but £48.75 was taken from my bank. There was no answer on the customer service line, and the online contact form doesn't exist on their website. I won't be using them again!

One of the worst customer experiences…
One of the worst customer experiences I've ever had, back order due to holidays left me unanswered for over a week, I ordered a box of coffee to go with the machine a day after I ordered the machine itself got the coffee but the machine never came and wasn't until a week later the told me there was a influx on packages and it'd be shipped by the end of this weekend, nope just canceled without notice and left with a box of coffee not compatible with anything else. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!
Expiring capsules
Every time the expiry date is in a few months on the capsules . I buy 10 packs from them and I am supposed to drink them all within a couple of months???. That’s the response of their customer services team. Drink them quick. Wow. T
Coffee ok don't bother ordering machine
Ordered a machine and coffee bundle as Nespresso machine on last legs, said if you pay on credit card they won't take payment until order dispatched, payment taken same day got email saying order delayed should be delivered in a couple of days, can't cancel order so have to wait until they decide to send machine so seems like they take payment knowing you can't cancel so have no choice but to wait for delivery wish I hadn't bothered and stuck with Nespresso machines who have much better customer service and actually send orders when they say they will. I think Jacobs Douwe Egberts are trying to break into the market that Nespresso dominate this isn't the way to do it. That said onyx coffee is nice just wish I had a machine to make it with. Would not use again

I bought my coffee machine on the black Friday promotion with 100 free pods. The machine arrived, slightly damaged but missing the 100 pods. I've raised a query and haven't had any response.
I would advise not risking buying this and stick with a more reputable brand

Bought the Barista Sublime machine on a promo offer - should have contained 100 capsules and vouchers worth £50 that can be used for further capsule purchases. The 100 capsules were in the box, but the vouchers were unusable:
The 'register to get £30 off' vouchers only take a few pounds off any online orders - they've got these deceptive ways of putting pricing on coffee capsules online that you can never get the true value of the voucher
The paper vouchers that were in the box had an expiry date of December 2023 - clearly dumping old stock to get rid of it.

I find myself chasing Lor customer service that really we're not helpful
I have been told that Amazon the one dose the delivery but there is issue there so I have to wait till this get figure out somehow.
I have also asked for refund because I feel maybe is scam but the say I have to wait few days because of the policy
Now thinking this is proper scam from Lor!
Website unacceptably slow!
Ordered a machine Christmas last year. It's very noisy so impossible to have coffee early hours as will wake the neighbours. Then every month I place a regular order of xxls, and every month the website checkout process gets slower and slower. Today it took half an hour to finally reach the payment screen. After logging out and back again 3 times. It's unacceptably slow. Time to find a better supplier. Or just get a better machine.
I had a machine delivered to the wrong…
I had a machine delivered to the wrong address, the courier's photo proved that. I contacted L'Or who were near to useless. They said all they can do, is refund me, which will take 5 working days to get to me! I can then order another machine (payment taken immediately)
They did not seem concerned with of the problem, and wouldn't get in touch with the couriers. I asked for someone further up the ladder and they refused, saying they can put a request in for a call back. Call back never happened! I have reordered but I have reordered a Nespresso machine.
