Metal Hammer links to Fraud Website
Ordered a limited edition magazine 2 hours after it was announced on Metal Hammer , which linked to Magazines Direct.
I've followed Metal Hammer for a while but never heard of Magazines Direct - but assumed it would be fine.
Placed the order, and received an Order Confirmation email.
After 2 weeks of no updates, I checked Metal Hammers Facebook to see others having the same issue in the comments. (no one from Metal Hammer or Magazines Direct replied)
When I wrote to Magazines Direct - they also "could not find my order" despite an order confirmation email. After some back and forth, their official reply was;
" The order was accepted but not charged as the stock was not available to process "
Nowhere, anywhere, ever has sent out confirmation emails without any order being placed. What kind of system is this?
Its an appaling company with a shocking system - and the reason for this review is because MetalHammers buy link was to MagazinesDirect.
I wrote in to Metal Hammer 5 days ago as well - and they have not replied.
So sad because there is no way I can possibly re-order it now.
I was lucky and my order confirmation came without being charged (despite entering my card information) - I wonder how many people have to fight back for refunds.
Some stank rodent mosher dreg company…
Some stank rodent mosher dreg company staffed by some severely bizarre online pack stalkers. Supports loads of junkie bands and industry failed masons. Not the kind of thing society needs post pandemic, just negative and outdated.
Garbage company
Garbage company. Metal Hammer staff are just a mouthpiece for drug addled / harmful to society and youth bands like Slipknot. A mouthpiece for unprofessional companies like LiveNation. Staff are reduced to pack stalking strangers on Instagram to make up for their falling circulation. Pathetic. Needs to be shut down.
