Evaluating 134 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers reported extremely poor customer service, finding it unhelpful and unresponsive when issues arose. People frequently encountered significant quality problems with products, such as items falling apart quickly, defects, and poor craftsmanship. This led to frustration with repair services and a general lack of support when things went wrong. Absolutely terrible service

Absolutely terrible service. The WORST service I have ever experienced with a "high end" retailer. I've received better customer service from Tesco.

Ordered a luxury gift item as a birthday present 2 weeks ahead of the occasion, Louis Vuitton repeatedly failed to deliver the item we are now on our 3rd UK scheduled delivery slot which hasn't been fulfilled. The birthday was missed by over a week, still no gift.

All I get is emails giving their assurance they are looking into it, however nothing else happens.

Absolutely shocking behaviour from a brand that you expect a top level of service from. You should be ashamed of your logistics for online orders, it is abysmal.

Extremely rude staff

My son went into the store in Terminal 5 to buy me a bag costing over £1500 only to be ignored when he entered the store by the 2 shop assistants, he then had to approach them and asked if they worked there and they replied by laughing and looking at each other and said "Why do you think we're standing here!"
Extremely unprofessional and very rude so he ended up walking out and not purchasing the bag he had gone in for. Dreadful customer service LV you need to speak to your staff about customer service as Heathrow T5 has zero!

A Luxury Brand With Non-Luxury Service Standards

I’m unsure how a luxury brand can get it so wrong. A simple exchange for a shoe size has taken months and still no end in sight. Promised phone calls have never been received and when you chase up with phone calls because you’ve paid hundreds of pounds for an item isn’t being delivered all you get is a promise of escalation to Anna-Sara Hjertström - I’m yet still to hear her voice on the other end of the phone. For a high end designer like Louis Vuitton, their customer service is an absolute sham. Repeated broken promises of phone calls and having to chase an expensive order is unacceptable from any retailer, let alone a luxury brand. We’ve been patient far beyond what should be expected, and the lack of follow-through would erode anyone’s trust.

For a brand of Louis Vuitton’s stature, this level of service is wholly unacceptable. It falls dramatically short of the professionalism, accountability, and customer care one should rightfully expect from a high-end luxury house.

Unfortunately

Unfortunately, a very bad experience.
A meeting full of arrogance and eye-rolling.
A scarf bought for 5000 DKK with a clearly pulled thread. Apparently, that was our own fault.
As long as they are selling something, everything is excellent. When something is damaged, they find every possible excuse.
Sorry, but please delete my account. You will never see me again.

I recently visited the Louis Vuitton…

I recently visited the Louis Vuitton store at westfield london and had a very disappointing experience with the customer service. When I asked one of the male staff members for assistance, he told me he was helping another client even though I clearly saw two staff members assisting that one customer. Several other staff members were also standing around doing nothing, and when we tried to call them for assistance, they pretended not to see us. The attitude across the team felt dismissive and rude.

When I noticed that the male staff member’s client was gone, I approached him again for help. Instead of assisting, he spoke to me rudely and told me I needed to register my name with the bald guy at the door, saying there were people waiting before me. However, we could clearly see multiple staff just standing around doing nothing. It was my first time visiting an LV store, and he could have explained the process politely. Instead, the staff came across as rude, grumpy . The staff there looked like they were unhappy to have customers in the store.

The only person who provided genuine help was Tyra. She was professional and attentive, and the only reason I ended up purchasing my bag that day. Without her, I wouldn’t have spent a single penny in that store.

Louis Vuitton needs to address the behaviour of their staff. The staff should keep in mind that Customers are the ones choosing to spend their money . The lack of respect and poor service were unacceptable. I will never visit that store again.

I replaced my old wallet

Got a new wallet at an LV store, the design and style is one another level. When i stepped in, the staff were polite and not pushy, which I appreciated/ It’s pricey, but it looks like iit’s a small piece of art, not just leather. After months of use, it still looks new and fresh.

Condescending staff, no responsibility!

Bought my daughter the Puffygram necklace (palladium) and after only occasional wear the chain snapped at a join. Sent an email and several photos to customer service, eventually they replied asking for it to be posted recorded delivery to my nearest store. Store acknowledged receipt of the necklace and insinuated it would be sent to Paris to their quality control dept. Two weeks later I was told the chain had snapped due to wear and tear (only months old) and it wouldn’t be repaired or replaced! They only repair silver or gold jewellery and palladium is classed as costume jewellery according to them. So a necklace which cost over £400 and broke within a few months of occasional use is now no longer fit for purpose. I then discovered that the necklace was never sent to Paris to their quality control department but merely only photos were sent. Absolutely disgusting and the manner in which they have dealt with the situation is wholly unacceptable. Will never buy anything from this brand again. The branch involved was Edinburgh, avoid and don’t waste good money.

Surprisingly poor service

surprisingly poor service for a major customer like me. I needed a receipt for a stolen item, and after several meetings, countless phone calls, phone conversations with a call center in Germany, I still haven't been able to get help, and now my insurance case is closed, which has cost me dearly. Don't expect anything from this company.

I'm very disappointed with this…

I'm very disappointed with this company. The items aren't worth the price. The canvas print is peeling off the bag. The bag was used very rarely. Unfortunately, the store said they couldn't repair it and that it was caused by wear. This is the second item I've bought, and the quality compared to the price is terrible. I also bought sneakers from them, which they replaced three times because they were poorly sewn. Unfortunately, I was disappointed and I warn others to think twice before spending a lot of money on something that isn't worth it.They're helpful and nice if you want to buy, but when it comes to helping you when something goes wrong, they're completely useless.

Extremely disappointed with the service…

Extremely disappointed with the service at Louis Vuitton Knokke. My €4,800 bag showed a clear manufacturing defect, yet I was forced to pay €700 upfront or it would not be repaired. Later, I was told the actual cost was €1,200, described as a “gesture” — which is misleading and unacceptable. My bracelet has been in repair for over a year with no update or result. When I raised my concerns, the response was unfriendly and unprofessional. This is not the level of service expected from a luxury brand like Louis Vuitton.

Nulle!

Bought my 2nd bag on their website on Mon, I got an email on Tue saying that the delivery would be on Wed, it’s not possible to change it to Thurs, but only from Fri. So i changed the delivery date to Sat, which was listed as an option and well accepted. Then on Thurs I received another email saying it’s changed to Mon. Unbelievable! I checked with LV, they said UPS doesn’t work on Sat. Why it was an option on UPS website then?! Because LV doesn’t pay UPS enough for Sat delivery?! They think people will take a day off to wait for delivery??!! Even La Poste delivers on Sat!! For the price of a LV bag, they cannot choose another better company to make the delivery.

And when you contact their customer service by whatsapp, they keep changing person in charge every few minutes and they don’t study your file, so you need to explain the whole story again and again and again.

A respected name — but sadly, just a name

I’ve always believed that a company’s reputation is built on how it treats its customers, not just the price tag attached to its products. Unfortunately, my experience with Louis Vuitton has really tested that belief.

I returned an £810 order using Louis Vuitton’s official UPS return label on 6 October 2025. I followed the process exactly and have proof of drop-off from the UPS Access Point. Yet, over a week later, the parcel is still sitting there with no movement.

I’ve contacted both Louis Vuitton and UPS several times and was told to wait another 14–15 business days for an “investigation.” In the meantime, I’m left out of pocket while they take their time.

For a brand that promotes itself as a symbol of luxury, quality, and service, this is disappointing. Luxury isn’t just about the product — it’s about how you’re treated when something goes wrong. Sadly, this experience shows that Louis Vuitton’s famous name doesn’t guarantee the standard of service you’d expect.

I hope Louis Vuitton seriously reviews how they handle returns and communicates with customers — because this isn’t what you’d expect from a supposedly world-class brand.

Concerns Over Quality and Customer Service

I recently purchased the new Pharrell × NIGO sneakers and tote bag, but unfortunately encountered issues with both items, and the subsequent customer service was disappointing.

The sneakers’ sole detached after only two to three wears. Staff explained it as “adhesive not properly applied.” While a replacement was provided promptly, a footwear expert advised that soles coming apart so quickly is highly unusual and would normally constitute a recall.

The tote bag, purchased via pre-order, arrived with the top leaning forward, indicating a potential deformation. Staff attributed this to the material’s flexibility, but upon checking other stores and official product images, the same issue was not observed. After nearly a month of follow-up, the bag was eventually repaired at the atelier and returned.

Overall, this experience raised concerns about the brand’s quality control and post-purchase support. I am sharing these observations to inform others considering these products.
