Rude staff and incredibly unprofessional
Rude staff and incredibly unprofessional
They are only looking for profits
Dealing with Lowell Inkasso has been one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a company. Their communication is confusing, inconsistent, and often feels deliberately intimidating rather than helpful. Instead of trying to solve problems in a fair and professional way, they come across as pushy, uncooperative, and completely uninterested in treating people with dignity.
Getting straight answers from them is nearly impossible — every call or letter seems to contradict the last one. They make a stressful situation even worse by failing to explain things clearly or show any flexibility. It honestly feels like they thrive on making things more difficult instead of helping people resolve their issues.
If you can avoid dealing with them, do so.!
I would not recommend this company to anyone
legalised robbers
legalised robbers.
They forced me to pay a bill that was payed for already, not once but 3 times. All the proof was provided, once they received the payment they stopped answering any messages or emails. A bill that was 10 sek, I payed 400 sek for in total thanks to these robbers.
Pure scam
Pure scam
Always ask them for details of original lenders. Most times they can't. Also ask for proof of signed contract you have with them .They can't. So you have no legal dealings with Lowells, Intrum Or any other names of so called debt collectors they are scammer! If you do get name of original lender. Contact them. And you will see that Lowell do not own the loan. Deal with original lender ignor Lowell etc.
legalized robbery is an understatement
Calling them legalized robbers is an understatement. They requested that I pay 393kr for a debit that I had already paid on June 19. I went ahead and paid the 393kr because they threatened to report my details to Kronofogden (Sweden's unpaid debt register) unless I settled the amount. About a week later, I received a reimbursement of 293kr, which is 100kr less than what I had paid. As if their actions weren't already enough (sending a reminder for a debt I had already paid), they also sent me a reimbursement of 293kr, but I'm required to pay additional service charges (70Kr) to unlock the overdraft check.
Despite the fact that I had settled the debt before the company I owed sent a letter to them to collect the so-called "unpaid debt," their negligent employees sent me a duplicate invoice complete with a threatening message. When I engaged in a chat with their customer service representatives, they dodged my questions. And guess what? They informed me that I must pay the price for their colleagues' negligence. They meticulously collect every coin, imposing fines and interest if you miss even a single day. But, heaven forbid, when they make a mistake, you're left to fend for yourself and face the consequences.

Here is a bank to bank situation where My loan is transfered to Lowell. Knowing that you onlybhave loan remaining for 36months. When you ask the explanation from Lowell staff if its the same case, now they recalculate putting additional interest and having you pay same monthly as your previuos bank but Lowell double tje years. In summary you pay double in lonher years.
Totally a scam company. 5x tjumbs down.

They use a shocking company called overdales. Absolutely useless with both communication and basic technology. Had the cheek to demand I tell them every step of a complaint I’m making to the ombudsman. Acknowledged in writing the issues but did nothing about it and barely apologised. Said they take pride in being professional and yet they can’t even set up a website properly. They also “couldn’t find” the £200 I had paid, according to the records they kept I had paid £0 and defaulted in 1900. Be very careful if dealing with them, they are doing good something dodgy that’s for sure.

Pure scam
Pure scam, tried their luck to fool me with their letter stating a debt to the Chinese Very clothing hub. Worrying is that they have my details and attempted to get more from me. They apologized and promised to investigate fraudulent claim but never got back to me again. Be aware!

Absolutely a scam. Trying to collect for SSE. I spoke to SSE and they have records or dealing with Lowell or the debt they are claiming

Total scam
Impossible to give one star but I suppose the staff I spoke to were polite.
However, the “debt” they claim I have with them is from an energy company where we have a final statement showing that we were in credit and refunded. The account number they say is from that company is completely different to the one on our statement and I spoke with the energy company who confirmed we do not have any outstanding debt, that they don’t deal with Lowell and if we did have debt they would chase it themselves. An absolute scam, I have no idea how they get away with it and feel sorry for the vulnerable people who they scare into paying it. Please don’t give them a penny of your money.
