Delivery driver left new doors outside…
Delivery driver left new doors outside the property in the bad weather and did not even knock the door!
Apparently he told Wickes (who we bought the doors from) that he knew we were in as he noticed us let the cat out. We do not own a cat!!!

Poor customer service from Wickes and LPD
The door was delivered with it's full packaging. As soon as the LPD deliveryman left I removed the outside packaging in my entrance hall and could see a corner with damage extending for 7 mm. This was despite an outer plastic protector and an inner cardboard protector stapled to the corner. Without even moving the door from the hall I then called Wickes to ask for a replacement. They said they contacted LPD to organise a new door and collection of the old one. Two weeks and two chase ups later I still have no confirmation LPD are doing anything about it!

Rudest delivery driver I have ever…
Rudest delivery driver I have ever encountered. Doors left on drive approaching the house not even by the front door. Suggested I who am due to have a kidney transplant next week should help him unload out of the van. Have photos of where they were left for reference.

Ordered through a 3rd party, who were very helpful.
More importantly with a delicate and oversized delivery, LPD were great to deal with, expertly organised delivery with their own van swiftly, skill-fully and safely. They are clearly very experienced and the delivery driver specialises in our area of the country, something which is super reassuring when you live rurally.
Well done to the team, and again a special mention for my driver down in Cornwall who really helped get a house full of doors to us safely and in perfect condition.

Excellent service.
The driver called me 5 mins before arrival so that I was ready to meet him. He was polite, and punctual and very kindly brought the doors (which were heavy fire doors), into my house for me.
All very smooth and seemless.
