I bought a ring for a friend in November as a Christmas present. Sadly it was too small. I emailed right after Christmas, asking if I could send it back in the original packaging and switch it out to to a bigger ring.
Customer Service replied, I have to open a return and order a new ring. Unfortunately, it was too late and I could not open a return anymore. Since then I emailed multiple times, no reply. I even send it back to the address on the website on my own cost with a letter containing the order number and if they could please switch it to a bigger size. It came back. I emailed again. No reply. I am ashamed that my friend has to wait that long for a ring that fits her. I didn't even want a refund, just a different size 😔 I know Customer Care is super busy around Christmas and in January, but it's now the middle of February and no help in sight. Very disappointed. (The ring is beautiful though, so sad no one can wear it)

I first ordered a necklace and a pair of earrings from Luamaya back in 2021, and looking back now in late 2025, I am still blown away by the quality.
I wore those earrings literally every single day for nearly four years. I never took them off—not to shower, wash my hair, or sleep. Even after all that time, they still looked as polished and bright as the day I bought them.
The biggest win for me is the material quality. I have very sensitive ears and usually can’t wear anything unless it’s solid gold or silver without experiencing pain. These were the perfect solution; I had zero irritation despite wearing them 24/7 for years.
Sadly, my necklace was stolen, and I recently left my beloved earrings behind in India while traveling because I had taken them off for safekeeping. I’m devastated to lose them after they stayed with me for so long, but it’s definitely time for a new order.
I rarely ever write reviews, but I felt I had to come back and share my experience for this one. My new order is finally on the way and I am so excited to have my favorite jewelry back. If the quality is still as top-notch as it was in 2021, I know I’ll be a customer for life!
They sent an invalid tracking number and every time I emailed about it, I got a canned response saying “here is your tracking number” with the same invalid one. After weeks of no product (despite claims it shipped via DHL days after I ordered), they finally responded and just said they were sorry for the delay and would escalate my request. It has now been a month, many emails on my part, and zero response from Luamaya. No product, tracking number is still invalid, and I have had to escalate the issue with my credit card company. Avoid this scam website!!!
Edited: I am in Germany, I just realized this posted to the USA site. And I can provide multiple screenshots of emails and my order on the website as proof. And I HAVE provided to to the email address Luamaya responded with, on 6 different emails. Which have not been answered.

In general, products are great. However, one of the ordered products had a quality issue after some weeks. Customer Service (aka AI) was quick in responding and sending a replacement which however unfortunately never arrived. Due to my new request, AI was replaced by real customer service. Ever since, I didn't receive any reply :-(

But instead of tracking the package and sending it to me, they initiated a new order with the same pieces which reached me a cpl days after.
The earrings are beautiful, I will definitely come back to shop more. Hopefully you will open a store in Berlin at some point...
I ordered a pearl chocker from their online store, the order was picked up and handed over to a delivery company quite fast. The delivery company - GLS - set a delivery date on a day when I would not be home, so I decided to select a PaketShop feom their suggested list instead. 5 days later there was no notification about the delivery and I sent a request to Luamaya to check its status. I got back a message saying that I need to keep pationce since therw is an increased demand currently. A day later checking again the delivery status on GLS web site I found out that my delivery was sent back to sender. Without a long investigation I asked Luamaya to start a process of money return since I was tired of waiting and would definately not tey it again with them. The confirmation came fast and in a couple of days I received a tranactiin to my PayPal but instead of 69.90 euro I paid it was only 6.90 euro returned. It has been already longer than a week since I try to get the rest of the paid amount with no respond from Luamaya. I will report to police about the case since it's obviously a scam. Please, avoid at all costs if you don't want to have the same trouble as I currently do.
