I concur with everything Chris wainwright has written, we had exactly the same issues £35000 for a kitchen should have been a great experience however thanks to Clint hills it was a nightmare, we also had to pay someone else to complete it

Avoid Like The Plague.

Complete and utter joke of a business, avoid like the plague - do not give Clint Hills any of your money; it won't be spent on your kitchen. Notice how he doesn't have any reviews on his Google account? Or his website? Or even his Facebook account? He deletes them so that new customers are blissfully unaware of his practices.

To start with, we agreed for him to supply and install a kitchen for us in February 2023, with a view to the work starting in June. After originally being told it would take a few weeks to supply and install the kitchen, it ended up taking over six months.

It first started with us not being provided with electrical drawings on time and not being provided plumbing and ventilation drawings whatsoever, so our builder had no idea where to route everything.

Then, once this was rectified (at our own expense), the units that he ordered were all the wrong size and had to be reordered (this took months). His first fitter turned up to our house and complained that Clint never pays him on time and told us that all of his projects are a mess - great start.

However, once the units had all been altered, Clint asked us for over £8,000 (taking the total to over £25,000) so that he could order the appliances. Regretfully, I paid this immediately. We didn't have all of the appliances ready to be fitted in our house until over three months later. This was despite numerous texts, phone calls, even threats - Clint didn't care. Here are some of the excuses that we were given that I can remember:

- A supplier scammed his card
- The appliances had been delivered to the wrong address
- The appliances had been delivered to his shop instead
- His fitter has gone missing so they couldn't be installed straight away anyway
- His fitter has gone on holiday
- His fitter is a cocaine addict
- Supplier is super busy over the bank holiday so he can't get through to them to chase
- He had to split orders between different suppliers due to stock issues
- Supplier had dropped Hot Point so he's had to reorder with a different supplier
- He's in bed really sick with covid
- Supplier hasn't delivered the items when they said they would

And this is only the ones I remembered to write down, I'm sure there will have been more.

When they eventually did turn up, his original fitter refused to come back and finish the job. I called him and he said Clint hadn't paid him, so he wasn't coming back. Clint managed to scramble together another fitter who met us at our house first thing on Monday morning. Clint was supposed to meet him there with us to explain the project (there were no drawings), but he was over two hours late because he had been on a night out in Liverpool the night before and couldn't find his contact lenses to drive home (really).

When everything was finally fitted, the granite was due to be measured and delivered. The granite suppliers were great and apologised to us profusely for what had happened, even though it was nothing to do with them; they tried their best to accommodate us. They also explained that every one of Clint's jobs is like this and that they have no idea how he is still operating.

However, the day before the granite was due to be delivered and fitted, I get a phone call stating that Clint hasn't paid them the full amount and I will need to pay them directly in order to have it delivered - over £3,000.

Once this was fitted, we still had things to correct ourselves, but we couldn't deal with Clint any longer so we just hired a separate joiner ourselves to finish the job off. There are still bits that aren't correct, but we will fix them ourselves separately.

All in all, Clint had us eating takeaways and using dry cleaners every night due to his disrespect and apathy for our project. We had no fridge, freezer, oven, kettle, microwave, sink & washing machine for over six months due to his sheer incompetence. I've spoke to numerous other customers who have had the same experience as us, he shouldn't be operating a business. We have a legal case ongoing against him for the way he dealt with our project.
