I paid almost 8 hundred dollars for a Lutron Serena roller shade for my kitchen. My shade just fell out of the warranty period and the electric motor that drives the shade up and down is burned out and not working. I CONTACTED THE CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR PARTS TO REPAIR MY 8 HUNDRED DOLLAR SHADE AND WAS TOLD NO PARTS ARE AVAILABLE FOR SALE TO ME. Then i was told they will sell me the same shade for 8 hundred more dollars. THIS IS A RIPOFF AND DISHONEST COMPANY. Other shade company's sell replacement motors for their shades even on amazon but this company screws you out of your investment. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!

We bought a home with an elaborate Lutron smart home lighting system. Shortly after we moved in the system failed and we were in complete darkness. There is no simple back up we spent the next two years with the installer trying to fix the system. They could not repair the system entirely we paid thousands of dollars only to be told they don’t support that system anymore. We wanted to rip out the whole system but the way they wire it originally means you can’t go back to traditional light switches. This system is anything but smart and Lutron is absolutely terrible with their support and simply expect you to replace the system every 10 years or so which I’m sure they don’t tell you when you buy it!! Total rip off solving a problem that never existed with traditional switches I would never recommend Lutron!!!!

I purchase 2 Lutron dimmers from Home Depot. Within a few weeks, the lights in the fixtures began to pulse. I spoke with customer service to determine if the LED bulbs were on the recommended list. They were, so the rep suggested that there might be a neutral wire issue so she sent me a "Maestro" replacement with a neutral wire hook up. This solved the problem so I called back and they are sending me the 2nd replacement. They answered the phone quickly, were very courteous and solved the problem!

Purchased a house with an old Lutron and they cannot tell me the password so stuck either prior owners scenes. It seems the only option is to upgrade for thousands. They force an upgrade to sell product. Must have weak engineering or just greed.

I recently purchased a pico remote based on Lutron’s false advertising on Amazon. The advertisement clearly states that the remote is, “For Wireless Light Bulbs and Lamps, Works w/ Alexa, Apple Homekit, Google Home (Hub Required)…” Any rational individual reads this as compatible with Alexa, Apple HomeKit, and with a hub can work with Google home. Look at the commas.

Apparently a hub is required to work with any and all wireless systems. It took 40 minutes waiting on hold for their 24/7 customer service to confirm their false advertising.

Companies like Lutron should be sued into oblivion. I am sick and tired of liars and thieves like Lutron who intentionally steal time and money from those suckers dumb enough to believe what they say about their products. Avoid these shysters at all costs. Hopefully the company dies quickly before they dupe anyone else.

The Lutron UK office gave absolutely amazing technical support for a tricky problem that popped up with our small Church lighting control system at the worst possible time just before the Christmas Carol Services. It was installed 9 months earlier, but then suddenly wouldn’t easily control one of the two zones. They firstly diagnosed thoroughly over the phone, and then at very short notice the technical manager organised for an engineer to visit at the end of his day. Problem fixed, personnel all very helpful. Strong recommendation.

This brand helped me save on our energy bill, plus it helped integrate the music and lights in one easy to use system. I am so glad that a family member recommended them. It might seem costly at first to purchase and install it, but it was worth every penny.
