I came across this platform offering domains for $0.99, which seemed like a great deal. However, when I got to the checkout, the price suddenly changed to $9. As a new user, I was shocked at the deceptive practice! I was never registered before and just wanted to grab a good deal, but this feels like a scam. It’s frustrating when companies try to lure you in with fake promotions and then adjust the price at the last minute. Be careful and double-check everything before making a purchase!

Service ideal

LWS were excellent. From the initial sales person, Gareth to the admin, to the surveyor and to the fitters scott and Ant. Really good experience from everyone. Great job. Professional, punctual, respectful and left everything very clean and tidy. Thank you all so much. Would highly recommend.

So, I thought I found a great deal with LWS - "2.99 euros/year" for domain transfer. Sounds good, right? But, nope, it turned out to be a mess. First off, they charged me more than promised, and then the whole back and forth with customer service was just exhausting. They said this price was just for new customers and only for the first year - something that wasn’t clear at all at the start.

And just when I thought we sorted it all out with a refund after a whole lot of messages and even a PayPal dispute threat, guess what? My domain gets suspended out of the blue! They decided to suspend my account and domain without any clear heads-up right after we agreed on a solution. Talk about confusing!

The tech guy, Omar, tells me they can't reactivate anything and my domain name is suspended. All of it after reaching a common solution with the support team, and after I thought we have settled on a solution.

Honestly, this whole thing was a rollercoaster. First, they lure you in with a sweet deal, then charge you more, and when you finally think it's all settled - bam! - they hit you with a suspension for no clear reason.

I wanted to give LWS a chance, even considered staying for the long haul. But after this? No way. If you're looking for a domain registrar or web hosting, you might wanna look elsewhere. Don't get fooled by the initial low price like I did. And maybe find a place that doesn't just suspend your domain without a proper explanation if your domain name is important to you. I wish I could give them 0 stars.

Editing because I can't answer directly: I never wanted a refund, the sales service proposed to give me a partial refund and I accepted. But then they realised a partial refund wasn't possible and refunded me entirely. I thanked them and said that despite the rocky start, I could stay using LWS for the future. But then I got blocked and had my domain suspended without any further warning. Why would the sales team propose something to me they had no intention of fulfilling? I'd be happier with just a full refund and no empty promises instead of waking up and discovering a domain name I heavily rely on got suspended out of the blue.

There's no false reviews. However, there's proof of false advertising. I have all the receipts and logs of all my exchanges with the sales team (I have absolutely nothing to hide) and PayPal. This is NOT a reliable service, and I urge people who are reading this to move their business elsewhere. Unless you want to wake up one day and discover your website is no longer online because the sales team offered you a deal they had no intention of fulfilling.

Emphasis on the "offert". So, basically, they offered me something and then pulled out half-way without any further explanation, heavily damaging my business in the process. I'm not the one lying here.

Peace be upon you, I bought Hebergement and a domain name from you on 05-10-2023 16:42, but it is not activated.

Server tested: VPS LC1 after 4 weeks of use.
good capacities/price ratio in average.
The web site administration is good.
The reason of missing one star:
- it is claimed that the initial server setup is done in 600 seconds (10 minutes), in fact it is closer to 10 hours,
- it is claimed a not limited bandwidth but in fact then it appears that the full speed is up to 256 GB per month, then reduced network speed
- the jitter access time from rest of the world to the server can sometimes causes a timeout
