Honestly

I had a great experience with LYNART…

I had a great experience with LYNART purchasing two Yayoi Kusama Pumpkins excellent comms keeping me updated, and the items were quickly despatched and they arrived quickly, no issues with international shipping and the items where very well packaged. Looking forward to buying from the again and have no hesitation in recommending them.

Watch out!

UPDATE following the reply from Lynart (original text below):

I understand the mentioned points, but I received (and could share if necessary) a response from them offering to supply the piece and with a hefty discount. Since these are limited editions and not something you can buy on the next corner, this response makes the entire thing even more questionable. Once again, I could have gone for it, but since the original posting already offered some room for red flags I was cautious. In any case, this is not how I would expect to make business.

I found an offering on their website for a David Hockney self-portrait from 1980 for €12500. It is relatively specific and looks good at first sight but some of the details were a bit off. So I got in touch to enquire about those issues. I just received a short message saying that the piece is no longer available. That could be fine. But on the webpage one can still buy it. This is shady to say the least. I doubt that the work is legit and if one rushes into buying it without due diligence that could lead to regret.

The Damien Hirst Fruitful piece is…

The Damien Hirst Fruitful piece is absolutely stunning! The colors and texture are mesmerizing in person. Delivery was perfect — fast and very well packed. I even received photos and videos of the artwork before purchasing to make sure everything was authentic. Great experience with Lynart, highly recommend!

A waste of time and money

I ordered an exhibition poster to arrive as a surprise gift before a trip to the exhibition overseas but it was four days late after two days waiting in at appointed times. When it arrived (whilst we were at the exhibition) Fed Ex had bent the tube and ruined the poster. Lynart offered a replacement but I said the moment for the gift had gone since the exhibition had been visited and I wanted a refund. This was refused, and though they said they would send a replacement, none has come, though I complained over three weeks ago. In the middle of all this, Lynart sent us an email asking for a 5-star Trustpilot rating. No chance!

Update: reading Lynart's response to this review, I have to say I'm disappointed. The 'right' to return at the customer's own expense useless goods which arrived too late would still leave me out of pocket and inconvenienced, (especially since I'd also have to buy a tube fit to return the poster in as well as post it). I sent photos of the damaged goods straight away. That should be enough. If Lynart want to blame anyone for their cost in this, it should be FedEx, not the customer. I won't be trusting their deliveries again.

At Lynart, we always accept returns, provided that the original order is sent back to us. In your case, you unfortunately refused to return the damaged item, which is a necessary condition to process a refund.

Despite this, we immediately sent out a replacement order as a gesture of goodwill so you could still enjoy your poster. This new order was indeed shipped, even though you chose not to accept it.

Damaged to print in transit

I contacted Lynart store and they sent me a replacement print along with a few other small prints has a gift which was really kind of them.
The replacement print arrived really quick excellent service from Lynart , thank you *****
